I think my visit to lamour Nails today will be my last. Over the past six months, I've noticed a steady decline in the quality of service. Every time I go in, I feel like they don't really want to service me because I'm not spending big money. I usually just get a basic pedicure -- I'm a guy, I don't need anything extra. But they're always pushing upsells like paraffin wax or manicures, which I'm not interested in. What really matters to me is simple: clean nails, cut short, filed properly, so I don't risk fungus or scratch someone with jagged edges. Unfortunately, the last three times, my nails were left square and rough, like they didn't care to finish the job. I've tried asking, but the communication barrier is tough since they don't speak much English. The service used to be much better. Two or three years ago, I felt welcome, and I even brought my kids there for pedicures. Now, though, the body language and attitudes suggest they don't want me there. It feels like they give me to the least experienced tech, and overall, I'd rate them: * Service: 4/10 * Price: 3/10 * Communication: 1/10 It might be different for women who spend $80-$300 per visit (plus tip), but for a basic pedicure, I get the sense they don't value me as a customer. On top of that, now they want me to pay with Venmo or Zelle instead of their register, which feels unprofessional and a bit shady. I don't know if the business changed owners, but it's not the same. Because of the poor service, lack of communication, and the shift in professionalism, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

My nails always turn out beautiful and consistent every-time, everyone there does a great job , I personally have Tracy do my nails but Helen and everyone does it just as good. Tried this place because it mentioned they have a kids chair. My daughter is a toddler and had her tablet. You can tell the workers didnt know how to deal with having a kid there. They were nice but seemed nervous or not that excited. She had her tablet, other guests seemed fine. They didnt have my color of choice twice, they tried but it wasnt the most pleasant 1st time experience. Not sure if I will return, I do want to find a place that if I need to take my daughter along she will be welcome. read more

Prices have been going up, but they're still reasonable--and honestly, it's not their fault given the times. The employees here are incredibly kind and really take pride in their work. I live in neighborhood so i just walked in. I was told they prefer appointments. I was 1 of 2 in the entire salon! Shouldnt be a big deal. Requested pedicure only. Tried to massively upsell me for other services. Standard service is $35. She didnt remove old polish (clear coat) before giving my service even tho i requested it. Why?? I opted no fresh polish at this time. To get any exfoliation done on my feet was an additional $10 which made it $45. That's over 30% price increase for what should be part of a basic pedicure service i would think. I agreed but the exfoliation was simply a short scrub on my feet with a different tool. Didnt even exfoliate completely. Not worth it. The salon is nice & clean, staff is nice, but it wasnt as i had hoped. Rats. I will try some other local salons and decide if i will return here or not. read more

Was in the area waiting to pick up my BF from the airport and decided to have my nails done. Had called around and this place had an opening. I walked in and was greeted right away. I picked out my colors for my mani/pedi. Then was taken to a chair right away. They worked on both nails and feet at the same time. They only talk to you to make sure you are comfortable. Other than that they speak to each other in their own language. The whole process took about an hour. My nails looked great after they were done. Only docking a star because the gel polish only lasted barely a week and I have had other salons gel last longer. read more

I only visited this nail salon because I've been faithful to my nail tech, Stephanie for 16 years. Stephanie's work is hands down unmatched! But the owner of this salon needs to take a course in customer service. I've been to this salon 4 times and each time the owner is lucky I've bit my tongue. 1st visit - she dictated how she wanted the payment, although they have signage posted that they accept all payment types. 2nd visit - I waited over 30 minutes before my service began 3rd visit - perfect because she wasn't there but I needed a redo so that's why I ended up needing the 4th visit so quickly. 4th visit - I came in to have my nail repaired and the owner wouldn't allow my nail tech 10 mins or less to repair it. Instead she insisted that I come back the next day! I don't know what this lady's problem is but unless you live in the area, got time to wait, don't expect good (not even asking for exceptional at this point) customer service, please keep driving! read more

I would give 5 stars for Ann - she's done my nails twice and each time the gel lasts 3 weeks. They are also usually perfectly done with no mess. This time, I had another lady (they were short staffed), and not only do my toenails hurt (she cut really too deep into the side), but my gel manicure is also a total mess! I had to ask her several times to clean it up, she took some cuticle scissors and scraped against the bottom to "smooth" out the nail, after she cut into the skin of my thumb! She basically kept scraping and alcohol wiping and cutting the gel and my skin until I was over it and wanted to leave. I asked her repeatedly to redo the nails, but she didn't listen and attempted her own rescue efforts. My nails don't look clean at all, the skin is dry and cut up, and some of the nails probably won't last half a week. 1 Star for this experience, but averaging it to 3 since I do think Ann does a great job. read more

My go to nail place. I've always enjoyed coming here as the atmosphere is calm and quite compared to most other nail salons. All the staff are super sweet and friendly. And I'm always happy with my gel mani and pedi. They are currently open for outdoor services.
