The staff were friendly, and the services were great! This nail salon has been my go-to for many years.
I stumbled upon Coconut Nail Bar a few months ago & have been coming back ever since. They were super accommodating & friendly my first visit even with me being in a time crunch. The service was outstanding, friendly, professional, & very attentive. (As always) Sophie is incredible with my nails. She took her time shaping each nail & made sure the length & design were exactly what I wanted. Every step was done with care, from the prep work to the final top coat. You can really tell she takes pride in her work & value quality over rushing through appointments. I also had a pedicure, & it was just as amazing. The technician was gentle yet thorough, & the massage was incredibly relaxing. My feet looked and felt fantastic afterward- smooth, polished, and refreshed. The salon itself was clean, organized, and had a calming atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for flawless acrylics, a great pedicure, & top-tier service, this is the place to go! Attached photos of some of my favorite sets done! Thank you so much Sophie and team :) see you guys soon!
I just want to say how much I love coming to your salon. Not only is the service always fantastic, but the kindness and care you show truly stand out. One time, I accidentally left behind a very special ring, something I thought I'd lost forever, and the next time I came in, you had kept it safe and waiting for me. That meant the world to me. You don't just do nails beautifully, you treat your clients with genuine heart. Thank you for always making me feel so welcomed and cared for.
I have been coming to this place since they opened. They always do such a good job I am happy with all that they do. I highly suggest coming.
My usual nail salon was super busy and only had 1 person working today so I decided to try this new salon out! It happened to be nearby where I was too - super convenient! I called beforehand to ask if they were busy and they were not at all. I was the only customer. Both ladies were super nice. I got a gel mani and gel pedi. With 10% off it came out to $72 + tip. I really appreciate the owner changing the color of the gel for my nails, because the first color I picked was super bubbly and I didn't like it. We tried to add a different color on top and that didn't help. She did apologize a lot and I told her its okay it happens. So sweet of her to go above and beyond and change my gel color to something else without being hesistant or dismissing how I felt about the original color. Please come check them out! They're really sweet and nice. Everything seems new and clean as well. They also give you a stamp card at the end!!
Highly recommend this place. Christina took her time and did such a good job. I love the color and the shape. She was super friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely will be back. The shop itself is nice and clean and the prices are great!
Upon reading the reviews and seeing the photos I was very excited to view this salon. Come on 5/5 stars? I showed the nail tech what I wanted and she said yes I can do that. She started putting my my set and then seemed hesitant and asked for the photo again for reference. She now seemed VERY hesitant. I asked again if she can do it and she said she doesn't have that (that meaning 3D gel application). So fine whatever let's try something else. I ended up doing a stupid color and the pearls were not arranged how I wanted them. She was so nice and the price was good but it wasn't what I wanted. I felt so ugly with them on. I went back to her the day I was leaving for my birthday trip but she couldn't see me cause she had another client. I left and went to another salon, they were shocked about the work staying the cuticles and application weren't good. I'm sorry I would not recommend this place. The photos you see will be what I wanted vs what we ended up doing. She also left my nails so crusty, I tried washing and scrubbing my hands multiple times without it coming off (the photos are from the same day I got them done).
I visited Coconut Nail Bar 6/21/24 and had a very nice, relaxing experience. It wasn't too busy and I was seen right away without an appointment. I was offered water (which I always appreciate) and a mimosa too. It's a smaller shop, very clean with nice music playing. I chose a Fresh Start manicure w/ gel polish and a Sparkling Refreshing pedicure w/ gel polish. We did 3 coats because the color was a lighter shade. They did a great job!! My pics are 13 days later and all the polish is still good! Not one finger or toe has peeled which is impressive. I've been at the pool several times and use my hands a lot at work so I'm very impressed it's stayed on without any peeling or chipping. I will definitely be back and eventually want to try a full set. I'm giving my nails a break from acrylics right now, but its clear they do amazing work here. Great job Coconut Nail Bar
I haven't been to a nail salon in a bit and this did not disappoint. I went in around 11am and there was only one other person getting their nails done. The women were so nice and sat me in a chair and showed me so many color options. The woman doing my nails took her time to clean and cut them and polish them with gel polish. I was convinced after asking for regular polish and I was happily pleased with the outcome as a first time gel polish. After it was finished she massaged my hands and wiped them clean. It was so nice and I'm definitely going back and taking my daughter. I also told a girlfriend and she really liked the place too. They have a stamp card and for first time customers I got a 20% discount, I paid 32 for my polish and tipped in cash.. Parking was easy both on the side and in front. It was also very clean.

Went in to get gel pedicure and regular manicure. Possibly the worst manicure I have ever had. She used a really coarse file so the edges of nails are really jagged and rough. My cuticles do not look like I just got a manicure... Basic pedicure was done with hand soap, he cut my toe while removing the old gel. Cuticles don't look great. The salon did not look clean. There were cut nails and nail/polish dust all over. Really uncomfortable experience. Had higher hopes since the reviews were good. Bummer. Edit: the file used to remove the gel polish was not the issue. After they cut the nails, they filed them so poorly so that the edges of nails were jagged and snagging on everything. Never after removing gel has this been an issue. read more

I recently moved to San Jose and looking for a decent nails place. I called around and found this place. I did powder dip $48 and regular pedicure $35. The price was affordable and they provided good quality nails services. Both Christina and Kevin were skillful and friendly. As soon as I arrived, Christina offered me water. I was satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the nails. They have many great selections of colors. The salon was small but cozy and organized. I will be coming back to do my nails. read more

Christina makes me feel like a queen when I come into Coconut Nails. She can recreate any image I've brought her, and puts her own spin to make the designs more unique and fabulous. I used to visit her at another salon, and my whole office would compliment how cute my nails were. :) Christina does a great job with her nail apexes, and never shames me for wanting shorter nails I can still type with. She's kind, attentive, and always gives me a reason to smile. I love that she follows up with me via text to ask how my nails are, and to book appointments. It shows she cares about her clients. Be sure to call and book her, shes popular. :D read more

Stumbled upon this little hidden gem after I had a bad service elsewhere. Came here to get a color change since I disliked how they did my nails at the previous nail salon I went to. Reviewing that one later..... I came here around 5pm, street parking wasn't to bad. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. It was so clean and welcoming. Christina took care of me. She went above and beyond with my nails, she fixed the shape of my nails and even added more powder since the previous lady did a bad job. She was friendly attentive and most important heard me out, I was satisfied with my nails. I decided to do all black nails with two spider webs. They accept Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle. I cant wait t come back here next weekend for a Pedi, I heard Sophie dose great job. read more

I made the split second decision to go to the coconut nail bar today before my meeting. Even though I was a walk-in they took me in very quick! Cristina did my acrylic removal and pink/white ombré dip powder service and Jenny did my pedicure. I haven't had a pedicure in a while due to schedule but Jenny did wonders with getting off all the dead skin and making my feet presentable again. When I wasn't sure if the color I picked suited, she offered to let me pick another which was very sweet. Jenny is very meticulous with her color application and with making sure that any hangnails are removed. My acrylics were removed very gently and with great care - allowing me to preserve the nail growth beneath. Even though they were a little on the shorter side, Cristina got me that almond shape I was looking for. She was also very careful, making sure the application was done right and double-checking to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The one small thing I mentioned was taken care of quickly and without fuss. Cristina also did an amazing job on my eyebrows. Overall, I loved the fun vibe here. The music was upbeat, everything was clean, and Jenny and Cristina were both so friendly and conversational. Would go again read more

Needed my nails done last minute and decided to try out Coconut Nail Bar for the first time as a quick resort and was actually amazed with how things went and I will now be coming here every time for fills and new sets. A lot of places I try to my nails just don't really come out with a good shape, they're rushing too hard, or aren't good with designs, or even hurt me. BUT Sophie did my nails and she was very sweet and calm and quick and did beautifully, I get compliments every day! I think these only took an hour, she was very effective with her time. This photo was from Feb 28 and it is now March 12 and my nails still look amazing and not lifting or chipped at all. Definitely try this place out it's super chill inside. These only costed $75!! Very good prices compared to other places too. read more

I super loved how my nails turned out! booked them last minute and went for the 6:30pm appt with my specific design requested and they still accommodated me. It even went over their supposed closing time but I didn't feel them rushing it and it still turned out as how I wanted. Price was also reasonable and staffs were friendly!
