I had a funeral to go to today, and I wanted to get my nails redone so that way they didn't look like garbage when I went to go see everybody. I called ahead and made sure I knew what the price was going to be and when I got there, the service was great and everything was going really well until it got time for me to leave and they demanded a tip. After I paid everything minus the tip because I didn't have enough, I started thinking to myself, " how can a business still be in business if they are demanding tips from their customers, especially those who are on a fixed income?" I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO THIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN. I Know that there are people that can afford the tips and probably tip very well and don't get me wrong. These ladies deserve it. But don't require that your customers give you tips. That is a very quick way to lose somebody like myself who was going to be a long-term every two week customer. Sorry for your loss read more

Originally I loved this nail salon. Katie did my wedding day nails and they were absolutely perfect. Katie pays great attention to detail and is very kind. Hannah also did my toes and she's the only nail tech who has made me comfortable during the process. I will continue to go to both of them. They're amazing! However, the other day I took my wife to get her nails done and to get my upper lip waxed. Our regular techs were not present and they seemed rushed. Instead of saying they cannot take us as they're waiting for another client to come in they took us and did a half effort job. My lip ended up burnt by the wax and they simply said I have sensitive skin and gave me an ice cube, no refund and even demanded a tip. My wife's nails were rushed without asking for length or shape. I am disappointed that a place I've been going to would give us this treatment. read more

My first time at Spring Garden Nails and definitely not my last! I followed Katie, who used to work at a different salon. She does an amazing job! She is so creative and is always looking up new design ideas to try. The salon is very nice. It's big and bright. There is a parking lot in back of the salon, which made for easy parking. Super friendly staff here! I made an appt for same day pedicure and was able to get one for 3:30! I got Tiffany and she gave me a really nice relaxing pedicure. I love that she isn't rushing and that she really takes her time! She's super friendly and sweet. I got a basic pedicure ($30) and add on gel ($20) so $50 for my gel pedicure. I used to go to Oasis Nails for my pedicures, particularly for Tiffany, who is the best! Oasis got sold and became Yoyo Nail Salon. They were riding on the coat tails of the previous, highly rated business, but in my opinion, the new owner there is inexperienced and incompetent. I was pleased to discover that Tiffany and a couple of her former coworkers now work here. And her attention to detail is just as good as before, and in a much nicer setting. Note: this is a necessity and not a luxury for me. An artificial hip makes it impossible for me to bend enough to trim my own nails. I have tried other salons and pedicurists, but none are as good as Tiffany. read more

We had the very special, luxurious manicure ( $40) and pedicure ( $60). We were treated like royalty. It was so wonderful and so very relaxing - I didn't want to leave. The ladies are really consummate professionals and are very intuitive regarding level of intensity for massage...very kind, and patient. And, a superb selection OPI nail colors. Katie is an excellent manicurist! Here are some pictures of the work she has done on me. She achieves the inspiration I bring in every time! The chrome nails are my most recent set at $65. Her prices beat other nail salons as they mostly charge $5 per nail, whereas here, they charge a set price for all your nails ($15 for all chrome). Will be coming back for a fill soon! read more

Just had my first experience at this salon. I have my hair done near by and had passed this place a couple of times based on yelp reviews i decided to try it. Most IMPORTANT thing to me is sterilization of tools the tools are in a sealed ziplock pouch seal was broken in front of me. Price is very reasonable $30 basic pedi. My only complaint would be I made an appointment with Tiffany but I got Hannah instead perhaps there was a misunderstanding i dont know, Hannah did a decent job no complaints I will return but I'd like to have Tiffany since I read several positive reviews on her. Will see how pedi holds up. read more

Hands down the best salon in Willow Glen , in my opinion. The prices are also very reasonable. The technicians are friendly and efficient. The place is always very clean and welcoming and hospitable. I have never felt hurried no matter when I get their services - weekday or weekend / afternoon or evening. On the rare occassions I've messed up my polish, they have always fixed it. Many of my friends come here as well and many of them are long time customers. That should tell you everything about the salon. 100% recommend Spring garden and a shout out to Tiffany, Katie and Hanna. read more

Not only was the service and the gel manicure excellent, the spa has its own parking lot off Lincoln Avenue which makes it so much easier as it is often a challenge to park in Willow Glen. I had my nails done by Tiffany. She is a perfectionist and does a great job. If you need a manicure, this is the place to go. read more

I have been going here since they opened. But this is the last time ask for American for my nails came out with a clear coat of nail polish and they call that American and charged me for it . And I was there for over 2 hours granted I did get a pedicure. It was all most 3 hours. Time to move on. read more
