I had a very disappointing experience today. I booked the Jelly Pedicure, which was listed at $65. Before starting, I was asked if I wanted gel polish. I said yes, and I was told the total would be $85. However, they never had me soak my feet in the jelly bath. Instead, they immediately started trimming my nails and applying the gel polish. When I asked if the scrub and other parts of the Jelly Pedicure would be done, I was told, "Don't worry, we'll do it." At checkout, I was surprised to be charged $95 instead of the quoted $85, and no one clearly explained the additional charge. After paying and leaving a tip, I ended up spending $100 for what felt like a very basic pedicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jenny was nice but she complained about me in Vietnamese, assuming I didn't understand, because I refused to do powder on my gelx nails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She said it's more sturdy and she'll make it look natural but you don't fill gelx with acrylic powder. Her hands trembled and she drilled my finger (side and bottom) a few times which really hurt. She didn't cut my cuticles like Rose did the first time and she painted on my cuticles. All of my nails lean to the right and the one she fixed, with a random nail that was sitting out instead of fitting the correct size, is longer than all of the other ones. Nail lengths are uneven.The polish is full of bubbles and is streaky. The other girl was walking around barefoot and ate out in the open. It's strange that this shop is carpeted, which is not clean. 3.5/5 stars but I'll round up to 4 for the friendly staff. I got a gel pedicure from here twice and the first time I came it was good absolutely no complaints. However my second time I felt my pedicure was rushed and she clipped my cuticles very rough/painfully. Also, no gloves were used during the entire time when doing my pedicure which I thought was bit odd. After touching my feet, she would touch other things like the phone and such. After my pedicure, my toes were hurting a bit. Also some gel polish got on the skin and she used a course nail file to file the gel off my skin which I never experienced before. Overall I got my toes done and it looks fine. But, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Maybe just don't come here when they're busy otherwise you get a rushed service. read more

I got a manicure done with a few friends and overall, it was a nice experience! The staff was friendly and really accommodating (they took all five members of my group at the same time). They had a great selection of nail colors and even though the process took a short amount of time, all of our nails looked great. My only qualm is that I wasn't asked if I wanted a normal manicure or a gel manicure, they went ahead with a gel manicure which I wasn't planning on getting. This definitely could've been a miscommunication since members of my party asked for gel manicures but I think next time I'll just double check to make sure I'm getting the correct polish type. I loved how my gel nails turned out but a few days after I got them one of the tips did chip a little and a couple days after that the edge of another nail began to peel slightly. The chip and peeling was hardly noticeable but it was hard not to start picking at them! Overall the nails were able to tolerate a lot more abuse than typical polish would. I'd definitely come here again and I do think the gel nails are worthwhile. They were $35, not including tip, and I think I could've gotten at least two good weeks out of them, if not three. read more

The technician literally tore off a chunk of skin from my toe while doing my pedicure. Did not apologize at all, even when she realized and tried to apply a clotter. I've never been to a salon where they are literally unable to perform the service they are supposed to provide. Would have given two stars if the rest of the pedicure was good, but they were hard handed the whole time. For a "happy" pedicure, my feet were pretty unhappy from the pain. This is also the day after my pedicure, so clearly not great service if the nails didn't hold up for 24 hours. The place is also outdated and doesn't look super clean. After waiting about 20-25mins, the lady who helped me performed a rusty and rough work. She didn't treat my cuticles well but just spread lots of lotion on it. Basically she showed all steps but not details at all. Those rough steps made me felt pain too. I do not think this is the right way to do business.
