This spot is OK in a pinch for eyebrows, more of a 3.5. It's a little pricier than other spots. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it doesn't look as good. This time my eye area was stinging on the way home. I get a few nicks at different eyebrow places sometimes and understand it happens, but this one really stung. Then realized it had a cut as you see in the photo. When I get my eyebrows threaded at other places, they somehow get it so sharp and sleek looking than ai can ever get at home. Sometimes here it's not as crisp, so I just come if my eyebrows are overgrown and need it done ASAP If I'm in the area, I'd come back and chalk it to bad luck but for the price, there are definitely noticeably more skilled spots if you are willing to drive a bit further. But if your eyebrows have gotten out of control and you really need to get it done, it's decent enough. read more

Not for me. Booking my appointment was really simple - I gave Sima a call and she didnt have availability the same day, so she scheduled me for the next day. When I got there, I didn't realize it was inside Sola salons, but quickly navigated to her stall. When I arrived at her stall, she was on a phone call, acknowledged me and then immediately tried to start working on my eyebrows without any conversation. I quickly stopped her because I've been down this path with a new threader before and had a bad experience, so I no longer "trust the process". When I stopped her to explain what I wanted and didn't want, she opted to hang up the call she was on. Sima was friendly and noted my preferences. My eyebrows while "cleaned up", were not as groomed as I'm used to- usually when they're done I won't need to re-brush my eyebrows so they lay correctly. Typically, they've been threaded and cut in such a way they just lay in a clean arched shape. Additionally, I still had many fine (but not short) hairs around my eyebrow that were not removed. When I pointed out a few, she did go back a couple times to get some of them. To be honest, the lighting didn't appear that great in there, so I could see why she may have had trouble seeing them. It was just a little annoying to still have those fine hairs because she specifically requested me to not tweeze my eyebrows at all because it causes ingrowns. I have been to this place couple of times before for threading as it's conveniently located. Yesterday when I went there first time for waxing, she kept pushing me to get more things done. Frankly, her salon is not really clean. The skirt she gave me to change had strains. So I politely denied getting few more things done. But she kept pursuing me on that topic and even went ahead and said, "you live in this country where these treatments are done by everyone. I dont understand why you are not doing it. Difficult to believe you have spent so many years here". I think it was an extremely rude comment. I didn't say anything to her but I will not visit this place again. Came to this salon for an eyebrow threading today and after showing her photo of what I wanted (which she dismissively looked at) she got to work on my brows.
