I have been a loyal customer here since 2019. Pre-Covid, things were much easier, but post-Covid, Navneet has implemented a new system. Here's how it works now: You'll need to text Navneet to ask about her availability for the week, and she'll send you her schedule via text. Then, you can only visit during those specific time slots. It's walk-in only, no appointments, unless you're willing to pay a premium for a dedicated time slot on weekends. A few things to keep in mind: - Payment is cash or Zelle only - Be prepared for a LONG wait - if your turn comes within an hour of arriving, consider yourself LUCKY! Many people bring their laptops and work while they wait, so be prepared to settle in. - Navneet's time slots can be limited, so be flexible - She takes appointments on weekends, but the price is higher if you want a dedicated time slot without waiting - Note: I've only visited on weekdays, so I'm not sure what the wait time is like on weekends. This review is specifically for Navneet! I 'd been waiting to get an appointment for eyebrow threading but as the reviews show, she's very much in demand. Most appointments are taken within 5mins of her releasing them. Needless to say I don't have the fastest fingers. However, she was so kind and accommodating to squeeze me in. Right off the bat she pointed out what my eyebrows needed and proceeded to correct months of neglect and poor shaping. Navneet is the best! Got my brows threaded here and she evened them out and shaped them exactly the way I wanted. I came in 15 min after walk in time starts and there were already 10 people ahead of me. But she is fast and I was out in about an hour and 15 min which to me is impressive. She doesn't rush and makes sure you leave satisfied, which all the people before me were and you can tell the are long time regular customers. OK so after three attempts, I was finally able to come and get My Threading done. The first time I tried I didn't realize that it's walk in only. The second time I walked by she was already at capacity for walk-in appointments. the third time which is today I waited almost 2 hours. Location is perfect as it's right off the freeway and close to my work. She's highly skilled, people of all nationalities men and women wait for her to bless them with her services on their eyebrows. I personally thought that it was like a pen gliding across my face as I got a full face threading. The only thing that was not clear, is the pricing as on the wall instead of 35 + up for full face threading, and I opted not to have my forward for head threaded . However, I did ask for my lower neck to be threaded so I was charged additional for that but I'm still OK with that as I felt the services were great. The saloon definitely needs an update, but I think she's working the kinks out and the esthetics. I also agree with the other reviews. She definitely does take time to assess your eyebrow shape. And asks your opinion before she takes any steps on removing hair. Very spacious place with the hair station, nail stations. Let me say that if you're looking for convenient and quick, this place may not be necessarily for you. The schedule comes out at the beginning of every week (usually Monday), and the hours are usually around noon for a couple of hours each day. There's no appointment system, and you have to sign your name on the waitlist when you get there. However, if you're looking for great brows, this is the place to go. Navneet is always really patient with explaining how she tries to "train" your brows to grow to a certain shape, and I've definitely seen a difference in my brows. Navneet is also very kind and honest. I've gotten my upper lip threaded here, and she never tries to convince me to get it unless it's grown to a certain length. She also always makes it a point to remember her returning customers. Even though I've moved farther away, I still make my way here for my brows. read more

Deepa is so gentle with threading! I used to break out from other threading places & tear up, but here... it's nonexistent. Deepa is also very personable, shapes your eyebrows by your face shape, and makes the whole process go by so quickly. If you're in a rush, this place might not be the best for you. There is typically a waitlist, or if you're lucky, there's only one or two people ahead of you! I have been coming to Deepas since 2016, when I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time! This is the only threading place that has never let me down anytime I've come. I've been to places that messed up my eyebrows, or even thinned them out too much but this family owned spot is very spot on. I used to get my eyebrows done by the mother, and now I primarily only see the daughter, and she does a great job and aims to keep eyebrows still thick, which I appreciate and she walks you through what she thinks is the best course of action for you. The vibe is very straight to the point and I am able to get in get out quickly by calling ahead and putting my name on a list. She also is able to just clean your brows when asked, usually other places go straight to shaping and thinning, and that's why I'll only be coming here for as long as I can! read more

So far I've been going to Aborn road at Evergreen for my go-to threading and lip, But for the first time I went to this location and the owner asked me how I wanted my brows was able to let me know that my eyebrows were not aligned very much, and it turned out great. I showed her a picture of a previous customer that left their yelp photo and let her know I wanted it to look like the one in the photo and she matched it well! She said she or another of the workers would help me get it to where my brows would be aligned, so I plan to go to her overtime to get it fixed. I'm really thankful about that! read more

The woman who did my eyebrows didn't do ANYTHING to them other than make them completely uneven. I asked her if she could trim my eyebrows, specifically my right. Then she just snips off barely any hair on my left eyebrow which is the sparse one and then tells me she didn't want to trim anything because it's sparse well why not trim my right eyebrow since that one is the ridiculously thick one? Parking can be tight but there's more in the back. I get my eye brows threaded once a month. I tend to go on weekends when they just open but I found out the hard way they change their schedule. I went on a Sunday at 11.45 AM a month ago and noticed there was barely any cars on the lot, which is rare as there are always a few customers who arrive early like me. I've been going to this spot for the past 2 years now and I've never had anyone else really shape my brows the way they do at Deepa's. From past threading salons, it was always either too thin or they missed a bunch of spots. They always get it right here and their pricing is the best in the Bay Area. I'd recommend if you're planning to come during these times is to try to go right when their doors open. The waitlist increases pretty quickly and they can only take one person in the salon at a time due to regulations. You can only put yourself on the list when you go in person, no reserving spots beforehand. If there's at least 5 people already in front of you, expect at least a 30 minute wait minimum. But it does go to show that this spot has a huge following and make sure to support them during these hard times with a little extra tip! read more

The last time I had my brows threaded was 3 months ago in February so maintenance was long overdue (and before that, I last threaded them in Feb 2020, yikes!). I'm quite protective about my brows, but Navneet did a great job fixing the shape of them. You can tell she has done this for years and has perfected her technique. This has been the 3rd time I came here. Didn't want to post so quickly because I wanted to ensure that my experience wasnt just a fluke. First 2 time with Navneet, 3rd with Kamal! Both are great! They both start out talking to you about what they see with your eyebrows (uneven, too skinny, not growing here, etc) and every time they hit it on the head and fix my brows to just amazingness that you hope people see them because they look great! I've been an avid waxed for over 15 years so the threading is new for me, and not my favorite but the ladies do such an amazing job I can overlook that. For those taking stars away for the schedule situation, yeah an extra step you have to take each week but honestly it isn't that bad. She's one of the best threaders I've been to in the bay-area, and it's a plus that she's a 5 minute drive from my work (aka threading/lunch breaks!) I've yet to get serviced by any of her associates, but the reviews for every employee seems positive. Pros: Prices are reasonable. I've been to Deepa a couple of times now and tried other highly rated places on Yelp as well as spas that charge $18-$25 for maintenance. Deepa really is my favorite place to get my brows done as she makes my brows look feminine with a nice natural arch that fits my face shape. Deepa really listens to what you want. I brought my girlfriend along that rarely gets her brows done. She didn't really know what she wanted, so Deepa made sure to not initially take off too much, make it too thin or too arched. Deepa then asked her for feedback (if she wanted it any thinner, more defined, etc.), and it was just the way she wanted. My friend loved it, and she looked really great! Deepa is always so sweet and friendly, funny too! And at $8 for brow maintenance, you can afford to keep your brows looking great all year round! I love my brows! I don't think I can go anywhere else now. As far as cons, it's not the cleanest place and there's always a bit of a wait because she is so popular. The sign outside actually says video/photography store, so don't expect the spa experience. However, to see the Threading Queen of brows, sometimes you need to adventure to find great treasures in the least expected of places. read more

They're good at what they do (threading/ eyebrows) BUT THE WAIT IS HORRENDOUS and sometimes the customer service too (you need at least 90 mins set aside). My go-to is Navneet, she is sweet and really does care about your brows and will help it regrow/ reshape -- it is $10 for brows (BRING CASH, or it's $15 minimum for card). Save yourself 2 hrs lunch just to get your eyebrows done (including driving time to get back to work, my work is only 4 miles away). I have waited over an hour here (even if I call in 15 mins ahead!), and like the other reviewer said -- TIME IS MONEY! I actually even asked Navneet and she said along the lines that she wants someone good to keep the brand (understandable -- but after 1 year there's STILL only 2 people, sometimes even just 1 person!!). They also have no sense of urgency and take their time (i.e. they're in the back for 10 mins or i.e. talking to their friends), pretty unprofessional. It's upsetting of the time wasted here -- so if you have to go here, go during non-peak hours and always call ahead to put down your name. We are all working women who are busy too !!! I always come here to get my brows done... and I'm from out of state! Once you find your brow lady, you never turn back. I've never had an issue with wait time, and that's probably because I don't go at super busy hours like right after work. You can call up to 15 minutes in advance to have your name put on the queue. Their threading has always been painless, quick, and gentle. My brows are groomed perfectly now because of Lisa. Lisa is patient with hearing out how you want your brows done, and she explains in detail how she will shape them and if multiple sessions are needed to help you achieve your desired look. I don't have a lot of brow hair to work with, so the fact that she can clean up my brows and reveal a natural brow shape that looks good on my face is a godsend. read more

I haven't been back to Deepa's in over 8 months now and I don't plan to come back. I was a loyal customer for a year but within that year I got impatient and tired to waiting. TIME IS MONEY. I don't have free hours in a day to be wasting for my eyebrows to be done. I was able to tolerate it for a year, but NOPE NOT ANYMORE!! No doubt your eyebrows come out fleek after but at what cost?? I value my time so much more now as I get older. Know that there are other places you can go to that takes appointments, less wait, and takes card. Let this be a warning for future customers if they want perfectly shaped eyebrows next time because it comes with a catch! If you have all the time in the world, by all means come and wait. Never had such a horrible eyebrow threading job! I'm giving two stars only because the young lady who did my brows was sweet, kind, and had a nice conversation. Also, my wait wasn't too long, I was 3rd in line and the other two ladies before me let me go ahead, as they were awaiting the other person (sorry I have no names). That should've been a clue not to proceed but I had things to do and figured, how bad could the work be if this salon had so many great reviews... I shared a photo of my previous ideal brows, explained I had grown them out because I wanted fuller brows. She seemed to acknowledge what I wanted but certainly did not deliver! My brows were very not symmetrical, she took off more one side than she should've taken, and didn't even clean up between the two brows. No trimming, nothing. Even though she handed me a mirror, I couldn't really see because the salon was pretty dark. It wasn't until I reached the outdoor lights, I saw the damage. At that point, I figured it was a loss of my time and $15 bucks and went home to try to repair the damage. Unfortunately, had to trim more than I wanted, just to make them even. read more
