I just went back for my second time, and I again, love my nails. Can't remember who I had the first time, but the second time I got Dao for a gel mani and regular pedi & she did amazing. One of the main reasons I love this place is bc I don't feel pressured to buy a more expensive package. I've gone to the same nail salon for years in a popular shopping center in Santa Clara & they had the habit of pressuring you to choose a more expensive package, and wouldn't take a #1 for an answer. While I can't say I love how my nails turned out, they're decent and will do for now. I think the experience really depends on the nail tech you get. That said, they offer a wide range of services, so this could definitely be a great one-stop shop if you find the right person for your style and needs. While her work is generally good (though the quality can vary a bit each visit), she unfortunately has no sense of customer service. During my last appointment, I asked her a few simple questions and each time she responded in a rude, dismissive tone. When I'm paying over $100 a month and driving more than 30 minutes from Saratoga, I expect a more professional and courteous experience. On top of that, the salon itself often looks messy and not very clean -- something I really hope they improve. For now, I'll be looking at other salons. Unless the staff attitude and cleanliness get better, the long drive just isn't worth it. read more

This salon pricing is on the higher end, but results do NOT match pricing. I used to come here regularly when they first opened in 2021-ish, but I would always get the owner (male) and his work is probably worth the price. However, this last experience, I likely will not return as there are too many other salons in the area, including the original Elite nail salon off of Scott Boulevard. Originally came in to do dip manicure which is $50, but was told if I wanted to have my cuticles cut it would be an additional $5 so I opted for a gel manicure and cuticle trim for $45. I'm not sure if there was an animosity that I "downgraded" but see the results for yourself in the photos. Pedi was just as bad. Nails were crooked and uneven and "massage" is not a massage, just someone literally going through the motions and lathering lotion on you. Hot stone is like 10 seconds and she didn't even massage my toes like other places do...or maybe I didn't feel it. LOL I still tipped them because I went into auto pilot but frankly they did not deserve what I tipped. read more

I am so upset right now because I was charged extra fees for my cheap Lee press-on nails! The technician didn't use any acrylic; she only applied an ultraviolet light and nail glue for my nails. For my pedicure, I asked for a $55 service but ended up paying $75, which I did not agree to. As for my nails, since they were done so poorly, I thought the design was included, but I ended up paying $80 for that. In total, my bill came to $155! The experience was terrible. It felt like the artwork was done by a beginner. I definitely do not recommend this place; they lack skill. Had the worst experience today at this place. Didn't get my nails done and left in frustration. Had an appointment at 4.30pm and double checked with Andrew (the owner) to ensure he isn't overbooking but oh well, he did. Don't recommend unless you are willing to wait even though you have an appointment. This isn't the first time they are not honoring appointments. Raised it with the owner Andrew last time this happened (25 mins wait with an appointment ; who said this won't happen again). Today, I was told wait was going to be a few minutes and should be done by the time I pick my color. Everytime I asked, few more minutes was the response. He got nervous that I'd leave so made me sit on one of the chairs with my feet dipped in hot water, but noone to attend. Left in frustration after waiting for 35mins. I have been going to this place for years, since the time this place was new and they were trying to get business. Unfortunately, the owner and staff don't care about that. Noone has the courtesy to apologize or communicate how long it will take and if that's ok or ask you to come late if they are running late. Not sure how you can be in a hospitality business and behave so poorly. Never going to this place again. No professionalism, no mannerisms. read more

I'm a nail girly and I'm very picky when it comes to where I get my nails done and who does my nails. I've been going to Kathy for 4 years now so when she moved to a different salon, I followed her. Trusting her with my nails is basically like trusting someone with my life! She is not only very detail oriented but also quick and she'll make sure you leave her chair extremely happy. My second time coming here, Kathy introduced me to Holly since Kathy was not available. I needed my nails shorter since I was back in school and Holly was very accommodating! She shortened them and shaped them perfectly. I have short and stubby fingers, so normally with shorter nails, my hands look even shorter and stubbier. Holly shaped my nails to accommodate the length while giving the appearance that my fingers look longer and skinnier. She was quick and efficient and made sure I was happy with my nails! Overall I found my new favorite nail salon! It's big, roomy, and VERY clean! I've never been too picky or cared much about massage chairs, but their chairs take comfort to a next level! I checked them out last minute because of the good reviews. I will NEVER be coming back, not even if they offered to fix my nails. The nails were so sloppy, even my fiancé commented on how bad they looked. My dip nails are lifting at just one week. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. The lady who did my nails was a bit older than the others. The entire time she was doing my nails, she complained about how thin and brittle my nails were to the other nail technicians (well, I've been consistently getting dip nails for the past few months so of course my nails aren't 100% healthy). Why did she have to keep complaining over and over again? When she was using the electronic nail filing tool to remove my old dip, she would get too close to my skin and so I would feel burning/stinging and flinch. This happened multiple times. She then complained about how I would flinch and said she was getting so tired of working on my nails. When she started shaping my nails, she didn't ask me what shape I wanted. She just went ahead and filed them. Thankfully she just did the same shape as I had before. She also ended up over-filing them - some of the nails were the length I wanted, some were shorter. All of her constant complaining was in Vietnamese and she didn't think I could understand her, but I did. Imagine sitting there having someone complain and talk crap the entire time. On top of all this, exactly 1 week later, my dip nails are already lifting! It just shows you the quality of materials and how little care they give to doing it right vs just getting it done. With my go to salon, my dip nails last at least 3 weeks. I'm shocked these dip nails only lasted 1 week. I would recommend paying slightly more to go to a higher quality salon with better customer experience. read more

Ladies, don't go here and save your time and money. I came here 9:30am for an appointment on Saturday, 5/20/23. I wanted a gel pedicure and manicure. I tried to explain to the lady doing my manicure that I changed my mind and wanted the gel off and I would just get my nails done with color after my nails grow. Two other colleagues explained that to her since her English was very limited. I still got my gel pedicure. An hour and half later after the manager arrived it was time to pay and they charged me $70 for the services I received. Based on the pictures, do you think it's worth $70?! I explained to him that I didn't even get a real manicure. The lady just took the gel off and my nails are too short for anything. She literally just cut some cuticles and rubbed some lotion on me. She even told me to come back in two weeks to get my nails painted when my nails haves grown. There were already other women waiting to get services done so my time with her was quick. The manager said that no one spoke English in the morning and it's still $20 for the manicure. So in short, I wasted $70 for the pictures shown in my review. I'm never going back to this place again. It was horrible service and he wasn't even apologetic or offered a discount for the breakdown in communication. If communication was a problem, then the manager should be present right when the place opens. He's responsible for his employees and does a great disservice to them. To the reply to the manager below: YOU used the lady not knowing English as an excuse when it came time to pay. And the camera doesn't include the audio. If you run a business where your customers speak English, then you should have at least have 1 fluent English speaker present at all times so nothing gets lost in translation. I originally made an appointment with Holly online, but I think if you don't explicitly say who you made an appt with they just assign you to anyone available. I also don't think what I got was the TAP hybrid gel advertised on the site which is a little frustrating since that's what I made the appointment for. Communication with my nail tech was difficult but it worked out in the end with the aid of pictures. She didn't really push my cuticles back and I see some issues with the alignment of the tip against my real nails as well as webby looking gel on the sides of my fingers. She did take her time and overall did a good job for the 20% off price.
