I appreciate how clean everything is. They are always cleaning! They also have tons of specials throughout the week as well as for certain holidays. This spot is also pretty popular with men. I know I've rated Rosie Nails before but the last 2 times I've been here I have not been impressed. In February, I called to see if they could do 2 pedicures on a Monday - granted it was President's Day and towards the end of the day - and they told us we could come in 15 minutes. I told them I'm about 20 minutes out and they said ok. We arrived and they said they're closing but their hours for a Monday showed they still have 1.5 hours to be open. But the gal at the front said we're closing early today for Lunar New Year, so the techs left. Well, tell me that when I called. Luckily I found another spot and had a great experience. Fast forward to today where I made an appointment for 3 pedicures at 11:30 am. None of the techs were ready, and we were finally seated at the pedicure chairs at 11:45 am. Then only 1 of our techs were ready. Another 5'ish minutes and the 2nd tech came, Rachel. It's 12:00 pm, and our 3rd tech, who we love, Helen, was still working on another client. Helen is the best so we want to wait for her but it was 30 minutes after our appointment time that all 3 of us were being worked on. So that means the first 2 had to wait for the 3rd to finish. The only reason why this review is 3 stars is because of Helen: she is such an awesome tech and does such a great job is why we come back here. I seriously think it's the management who is scheduling all the techs who messed up today. Most pedicures take about 30-40 minutes. If we had to wait 35 minutes for Helen, that means they assigned her to another client right before our 11:30 am appointment. Couldn't they see she had an appointment and assign someone else to the other client? Or don't double book too close to appointments? Or even tell us that Helen is going to take long and see if we wanted another tech? Nope, none of that. I had to ask if I can just have someone else at 12:00 pm, but I really wanted Helen, and luckily Helen was able to help us. Again, Helen is awesome! I might be dooming myself because she'll get more business after this post; but Helen deserves to be recognized. Thank you Helen! read more

The girl at the front desk is really nice and cute, but my nail tech gave me poor customer service. I checked in at the counter for a builder gel fill with french tip. I'm very particular about the kind of pink I get for the base color, and when I asked Rachel if there was a creamy lavender color available she walked away and sighed really loud saying "aiyaaaa". I think she thought I was going to be difficult the whole time because I was being picky about the color, but because of her reaction I was silent for the rest of the session unless she spoke to me first. Usually nail techs will constantly check in with me and ask me if im ok with the length, shape, color, and ask me if I would like a design as well. They will always ask me if everything looks good once they are finished with one step before moving onto the next. Rachel only asked me if I wanted square, checked if I was ok with the length of my pinky, then did not check to make sure I was ok with the length of everything after she finished filing down all my nails. This is not standard practice from my experience. And normally I do speak up if I'm not satisfied with something, but again, because she already sighed at me being particular about the color, I tried to wait for her to check in with me first before speaking...which she didn't really do. She didn't even ask me if I wanted a design, she just did my base color and sent me on my way with no french tip. The strange thing about this is that I came in with french tips, and I showed her an old picture of my own hand with french tips to show her the base color I wanted. So it really felt like she just wanted me gone even though I was literally silent the whole time and didn't cause any trouble except to ask for a particular color. I havent gotten more than 5 hours of sleep every night for the last two weeks, so I was too tired to say anything and deal with her attitude, I just quietly said thanks, paid, and left. Came here with a few coworkers to get a mid week pedi. I came in as a walk in and it was great because they had a bunch of workers and seats to accomdate. The place is super cute and they offer a wide range of drinks that include an alcoholic beverage. Love that they had a ton of colors and do lots of designs freehand. Pedi took about 40 mins, which is not too bad considering I opted to do it last min but still needed to be home at a decent time. Location is in the Safeway parking lot and next to a few eateries. I would definitely come back and try a manicure next time. read more

I came in for acrylic fill, Lily started to take them off (which was very confused) I came in for a fill not take off & full set and told me to do builder gel (is better) according to Lily. & took a phone call and got distracted and hurt my finger on filing. Once I went to pay, they charged me with full set and take off my nails... which I never came in to ask for that. THEY DONT LISTEN! Builder gel $75 so of course they want to do builder gel instead of gel color for more $$$$$ , $10 take off mind you I only came in for a FILL. Never again coming here, you shouldn't either. I've been coming here for a while now and I feel like depending on who you get to do your nails the service is different every time. I've had really good experiences here and some not so well, my most recent one was getting a pedicure. I came in on Friday around 4PM and was immediately seating. This time around I feel like my experience wasn't the best due to my appointment feeling rushed. I also feel like the lady that did my pedicure was not taking the time to be detailed which is provided in the service. The hot towel that was provided was lukewarm and the 5 minute massage was lacking effort. Other than that, I was provided a choice of beverage and some disposable flip flops since I came in sneakers. No complaints here! I came here to get gel removed from my nails. I did a walk-in and only waited maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Cleaning my nails and cuticle prep was a breeze. I didn't catch her name, but the lady at Station 6 was very kind and gentle. She also massaged my hands after, which was a really nice touch. It was $25 to remove the gel and $5 for manicure clean up after. I'll definitely be sure to stop by again to get some color on my nails in the future :) read more

Wouldn't come back! I asked for gel and showed her a picture of what I wanted. I was looking at all the different gel colors and the technician told me to choose from another set of colors because it's builder gel. I didn't know what builder gel was since it's my second time getting a manicure. They didn't tell me it was an additional charge for builder gel until after my nails were done even though I walked in asking for regular gel manicure. Very unsanitary!! The file attachments were in a very dirty box. The tech used a dirty attachment on my nails and even after she filed too close to my cuticle and made me bleed, she continued on and when she was done filing, she put the attachment back in the box with all the other attachments. read more

Thought I'd finally treat myself to consistently getting my nails done at this place . On the third month when they took the color off my toe I noticed it looked weird and when I asked the tech she said it's just the lighting. I went home and took the color off because I got anxiety and it made an appointment with a Podiatrist. I was quoted $65 for a topical solution, $25 for blood work done to do the oral medication(not including that medication cost) and $350 to extract the toe nail. The doctor confirmed it's a fungal infection you get when places don't sanitize their equipment welll. So how's that for a treat yourself ? The same day I also asked three times if they can do the design I wanted and they said yes then I saw her struggling to do it, I said if you can't do it it okay I'll just get regular nail and she kept saying she can do it. At one point I was surrounded by 3-4 staff trying to teach her how to do it on the spot and this is how I walked out. I left but called to ask if I can come back to fix it , I walked in and the lady seemed very annoyed with me and the staff came by took look and talk in their language about me while in was still there . It was so uncomfortable 10/10 would not reccomend . I just wanted a relaxing spa day once a month and I came out stressed and with a new bill to pay . This feels so shitty and my entire shoe collection is made up of open toed shoes so now I've had to adjust to sneakers. I hate this read more

Such a pleasant experience coming here with an immediate start from the nail techs. This is the only place I've personally been to that has the technicians work on both the manicures and pedicures simultaneously instead of waiting to start on the mani until after the pedi. I'm really bummed to write this review because I had high hopes for this place since I had a previous good experience. I went in yesterday to get my nails on my birthday. I had requested a gel mani with a simple design with flowers and was really disappointed in the quality. When my nail tech initially did the design using a dotting tool it looked terrible and I asked if she could fix it or if the design was not possible to do correctly to just remove it and leave the nails without design. I told her I would still pay for the design even if she removed it and told me it wasn't possible to get what I wanted. But she insisted on correcting it which was kind of her. The end result was still not what I was happy with but at least looked passable. However she was really rough with my nails and cut the skin at the base of my pinky nail causing bleeding. Immediately after I left I found a lot of areas where the nail polish is chipped. Just really disappointing to get such a terrible quality gel manicure for what they are charging. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back but if I do I'll be requesting a different nail tech. read more
