Had an appointment scheduled for 10am for a pedicure and gel removal and I arrived promptly and the nail tech I had made an appointment with was not there and was told someone else could help me. Overall, the appointment took over 2.5 hours, which I find ridiculous... The pedicure portion was fine and nothing really to write home about. The gel removal for my nails was an experience. The nail tech was cutting my nails with a nail clipper and I kid you not, my nails trimmings were being flown across the room and almost hitting customers who were seated and waiting for their appointments. And then the nail tech was asking me why I wasn't getting a new set almost in a disapproving way, and then just assumed I wanted a square nail shape when my nails were oval shape at the appointment. There is plenty of parking because the plaza is pretty inactive and there is ongoing construction at the big street in front, which was being blamed as the reason my original nail tech was running late. And then I come to find out from overhearing other conversations that this construction has been going on for a while so there was really no excuse to being late. I've been to this salon before and had a great experience with Dustin, who was professional and clearly experienced. This review is specifically about my experience today with Bonnie, and not the salon overall. I asked for a simple builder gel refill with plain white polish. From the start, she didn't really engage and checked her phone frequently, which felt like her attention was elsewhere and very unprofessional since I had no designs for reference. I also overheard her speaking in Vietnamese multiple times about being hungry and saying she might faint. That may have been an exaggeration, but it gave me the impression she was rushing through my set so she could go eat. I understand being a walk-in, but I still expect the same level of care as a scheduled appointment. It was also uncomfortable hearing her talk about the situation in another language while I was sitting right there. When I politely asked her to fix a small area with missing polish, she rolled her eyes and complained to her coworker instead of just explaining that she would be filing over that area anyways. There was also no cuticle care at all (cutting or oiling), and she left polish on my skin that I had to scrape off myself, which should be cleaned up before curing to avoid irritation. After leaving, I noticed bumps in my nails and a streaky topcoat with visible gaps. For such a simple set, the quality was disappointing. It felt rushed and careless. My cousin also had Bonnie previously and had a similar experience, including being hurt during filing. I really liked this salon the first time I came, but this visit was disappointing. read more

Sam is the most rudest nail tech I have ever experienced, do not believe the reviews, as I read all of them before booking with him. I have come here multiple times and the nails have turned out amazing, so I drove 40 min again. It is almost as if he is racist towards people who do not speak the same language as him. At first, I had a scheduling conflict, so I called and made sure at the new time I came, there would be enough time to get my nail done, and they said yes. It was as if on purpose since I rescheduled, once I got there and apologized, he said I cannot do those nails, as a punishment, when I already called beforehand and made sure. Then, I proceeded with the most basic nail design on one nail each. My length was not proper, so everytime he asked me is it ok, I would provide feedback, he was always sarcastic and frustrated. I am paying you so much money where I could get it done elsewhere for $45 for the most basic solid color nails, obviously, if I don't like something, I am going to point it out. I was being so respectful and smiling and apologizing the entire way through. He then later says word for word, "I don't think you should come to this nail bar anymore. You should find another one". First of all, I have come here multiple times without his rude entitled service. Second of all, that is a decision for ME to make, not for him to say, when he is being so rude and I am being polite. My payment is what is running his nail bar, so how can you have such horrible customer service and say that because you don't know how to take feedback. Were you not taught how to speak to customers?? Even my friend came with me last time, and noticed it. So, trust me, its not just me. I said "noone has ever been this rude to me anytime I have come here", he aggresively taunts me with, "what did you say what did you say". He is always saying, "I'm booked and busy I'm booked and busy", that is never an excuse to be so rude to customers, and if you could do the nails properly for me paying $70 for a one nail design and the rest solid color, it wouldn't have even taken that long. Please fix your attitude, as everyone else in the nail bar, has been so respectful. Being rude to me and my friend for your "booked and busy schedule", is not at all acceptable. Even my friend next to me was awestruck by his audacity. But, other than that, all the other nail techs in this bar, have been nothing short of amazing and respectful!
