I booked an appointment at Pari's over a week in advance to get my post-COVID haircut. I had a few ideas in mind and Pari gave me a detailed no-rush consultation. I have long but fine hair and over the years have only heard hairstylists saying that layers are not for me, but Pari assured me they'd look good. I had never cut my hair short (more than 5-6 inches) before so this was a huge step for me. Review has been long over due from my end. I had a very pleasant experience with Parri at her salon for a new year hair cut :) I found her extremely respectful and very professional. Hers is the first place where she actually asked my preference on hair conditioner products and whether I would like a heated blow dry or not. Let me first start by saying Thank you very much Pari for returning my voicemail. Pari was able to squeeze me into her schedule on very short notice. Upon arrival Pari welcomed me and offered me something to drink (Water, Tea and coffee). She took a look at my hair and offered me some solutions based off of my concerns and profession. Pari is very mature and upfront. She understand the importance of customer satisfaction. If you take a look at my pictures posted, you'll see I have a lot of hair. My hair was curly upon arrival but as soon as we brushed it out, it became frizzy. Pari respected that I rarely put heat to my hair so we avoided the hair dryer. She was not afraid to play in my curls and start with the hair transformation. The most important part of my review is that Pari provides me great counsel on the color options for my hair based on my career profession. She advised that I should keep my hair to a more natural color to avoid wasting money highlighting and confusing my employers. Presenting a clean professional look will leave an ever lasting impression. Lastly, Pari's Salon is very clean and relaxing. I had never dyed/highlighted my hair before and didn't know what I was doing, but Pari was very patient and gave me great advice. If you are the type of person who is hesitant to get a hair cut due to horrible experiences in the past, like me, trust me when I say that Pari is the person to trust to cut your hair! She is the sweetest person that I've met and she made genuine conversation with me the whole time. Such a humble person too. I really appreciated how she took the time to take my desires into account when cutting my hair and explained the differences between going with one style vs another. I also really loved how she stuck to the overall length that I wanted without overcutting like many stylist usually do. As for the environment of the place- it is super peaceful! I felt so zen during my session and there's many beautiful plants outside that are visible. I will be going here again once I need my hair chopped off once more! I had gone to Pari's pre-COVID where she gave me an awesome haircut. But post COVID, I had not had a haircut and it was really starting to look unruly. I made an appointment with Pari...and I am glad I did! She is COVID prepared. She sanitizes her hands, wears a face shield and is very careful. And although I am sure everyone right now will like the extra business, she is thinking about our safety first. Best place to get a haircut. Its on the first floor of the building, many people dont see it at first. Lovely pari takes her time to wash and cut your hair and asks you what you want and accordingly gives you a cut. She cut 90% of my damaged hair and was very swet and informative. She is the real deal. I had given up hopes in t THe bay area , i always got a cut when i was traveling but now i ve found her. I went to W's at santana row and they charged me soo much and gave me the most basic unsatisfactory cut. Paris understands what you want and helps you accordingly. This is my second visit to this salon and this time I got cheated very badly I had very long hair and trusted pari to give me a nice hair cut and I told her I would like to have the length till bra line but she chopped it off and charged me 90$. Oh God the lady Mehri who does facial is such a crook. She's just fooling around people. She uses water spray calls it "Ganoush" or something, people it's just water!!! She uses all fancy names and fool clients. I asked her to remove blackhead and she said oh yes it would come out with massage?!! And said oh the black dots you will see later on your face will just fade away?! Huh!! How will blackheads "fade away"! Who on earth even gave her any certificate! And lastly she just applies some oil on face and then ta-da there's a glow! She calls this her "Signature facial" for $80!! I'm not sure how people even gave her good reviews. I can't say enough about what a miracle worker Mehri is. She is an AMAZING aesthetician who learned all her knowledge and experience from France (French women do have the best skin!). I found her through a friend and was immediately hooked because she's honest, doesn't try to sell you products you don't need, and truly knows skin. Case in point: I came in with the impression I had dry skin and she said I didn't. She immediately noticed my skin just needed extra water in my system so instead of selling me a product, she recommended I drink more water! Highly recommend her if you're looking for a French style customized signature facials or microdermabrasian with years of experience and great pricing.
