Side story: I've been traumatized by other stylists cutting off a foot of hair, when I just ask for a 3 inch trim. Marlise has been the FIRST stylist that actually listens and did not go overboard. So cute, clean, and it's not too far from the OG location. If you go on her website/social media you'll be able to find it! I've been coming to her for about two years, and every time I leave feeling so confident and fresh. I just moved here recently and was trying to find a place to go to. I got a balayage at another salon back home in July and the contrast between my dark roots and my blond balayage were getting to me. It was easy to make an appointment online. When I got to the location , her suite #10 is inside the 'SOLA SALON' building. It's actually a building full of individual businesses of hair and skin care. It's actually pretty cool, I've never seen anything like it. She fixed me right up with a toner and now my hair looks brand new! It actually looks so much healthier now. Ummm, I walked out with perfect hair? What the..?! I usually have terrible hair, but for the first time in my entire life, my hair. Is. perfect. Marlise just did her thang on my hair, and she did it GOOOD. She started off with washing my hair and giving me such a relaxing head massage. I didn't want it to end. We chatted our way through the wash, and I quickly took note of how amiable she is. Then, she began cutting my hair, and, let me tell you, Marlise is very patient. Initially, I wanted it a bit longer, but after went through with the cut, I requested that she take a few more centimeters off, which she did so with a smile. She took her time with each section of hair. She does not rush herself, and the result is pure perfection. After the cut, she dried my hair and went through to touch up my hair a bit more. Marlise is truly an amazing woman. Being informed we were taking new headshots for my job at the end of the week, I scrambled to find a place to get my hair done. I was intrigued by all of the 5 star reviews and the 10 minute message response time. I sent her a message asking if she had any availability and within 8 minutes she had replied and asked what I would like done. Since being blonde can be tricky for me and the hairstylist- I sent her a few pictures of my hair and she recommended full highlights and a toner. Luckily, she was able to get me in for an appointment within two days (SCORE!!). I was greeted warmly at the door at 10AM and immediately felt relaxed and welcome. The treatment flew by because not only was she super friendly, funny and an all around great conversationalist, but because she explained so many things about the process of bleaching and hair care etc. Once my hair was done being bleached and styled, I was able to use all the information she gave me to make MY own decision about which products I WANTED to buy. (Normally- hair stylists push so much product on you and don't even tell you why), that was not the case here. As you can see from the pictures. my hair turned out great and I left with some purple shampoo and a high end hair mask.
