Even though I have been threading for years, I have very sensitive skin and cannot tolerate threading pain, however, Amrit is patient and nice about it. She is the only person I would wait 40-50 minutes to do my eyebrows and for 8$ in the bay area. SHE DOES AMAZING WORK. This time my eye area was stinging on the way home. I get a few nicks at different eyebrow places sometimes and understand it happens, but this one really stung. Then realized it had a cut as you see in the photo. When I get my eyebrows threaded at other places, they somehow get it so sharp and sleek looking than ai can ever get at home. Sometimes here it's not as crisp, so I just come if my eyebrows are overgrown and need it done ASAP If I'm in the area, I'd come back and chalk it to bad luck but for the price, there are definitely noticeably more skilled spots if you are willing to drive a bit further. Vari is exceptionally talented when it comes to hair cutting and styling. She has an incredible eye for detail, takes her time, and never cuts corners. Every appointment feels thoughtful and personalized. Me and my daughter always leave feeling our absolute best. Beyond her skill, Vari is one of the gentlest and kindest people you'll meet. She genuinely cares about her clients and creates such a warm, comfortable experience. Furthermore, if I were truly the one causing "distress," I would not have been seeing my regular stylist, Vari, at this same salon biweekly for over three years (more than 72 visits!). My only regret is contributing close to $10k to their revenue when management lacks basic customer service and accountability. I used to be a regular customer at this salon, contributing thousands of dollars in revenue each month. However, I had a very disappointing experience with hairstylist Roop Singh when my regular stylist was unavailable. He did not honor my appointment and instead prioritized walk-ins at his own discretion. When I raised the issue with the owner, Roop responded with significant verbal abuse and publicly humiliated me, telling me not to return. This behavior was deeply unprofessional, unacceptable, and unheard of in the United States. I left a review suggesting the owner examine the video footage of this incident and take appropriate action--including training for all associates, especially new hires from abroad who may not yet be familiar with U.S. customer service expectations. Instead of taking accountability for their employee's behavior, the owner began shaming and blaming me in our next interaction and pressuring me to remove the one-star review they rightly deserve. How you react to customer reviews is a true sign of your openness to learning; unfortunately, this response showed a lack of growth mindset and the humility to accept and take action on genuine mistakes.
