A bigger concern for me: a few times I visited, I noticed items that were close to--or possibly past--their prime/expiration date. That's the kind of thing that makes shoppers hesitate, especially when there are so many alternatives nearby. I genuinely think a little refresh would go a long way: - tighter inventory rotation - clearer quality checks - small clean-up / organization upgrades This is still a local business, and I'd like to see them bounce back. I got so curious about it and read a couple of reviews and I was spooked off of some of the reviews I was reading... I read about eyebrow disasters and "trusting" your artist. So I had spent time on researching different artists and studios. I was introduced to Tiffany's work through complimenting one of my girlfriend's eyebrows! "I got it microbladed!" I totally thought she had grown out her brows and reshaped it or something, wrong. Microbladed. "Whats her IG?!?! (Instagram account)" I was impressed with her work! And I jumped on the opportunity immediately! And made the appointment. While introducing herself to me I started to feel at ease and comfortable. Honestly, I had been freaking out the night before up to the moment I met her, wondering if this was something I really wanted to commit myself to. During the consultation she was very professional and thorough. She was patient and reassuring answering all my questions. She was very attentive and took her time to get the framework even and natural. Im very particular and like my eyebrows a certain way but she never flinched frustration if I suggested a slight change to the shape and sizing of my eyebrows. My eyebrows are really the only thing I occasionally put makeup on and I was interested in microblading to simplify my morning routine. An accident from years ago left me with a scar which kept hair from growing in half of my left eyebrow. Though I hadn't researched much beforehand (except to see her 5-star reviews and know I was in a good place), I felt immediately trusting of Tiffany's vision. She applied a first bit of topical numbing cream and I signed some paperwork. Then I relaxed as she drew an outline (which I confirmed), we chose the color pigment, she did the first round of incisions, applied the numbing cream (which needs to have cuts to go in in order to work), and then she got to work filling in the rest of my brows. I didn't mind the sensation, and the entire time Tiffany and I were excitedly chatting about all sorts of things ranging from travels, to dreams, to philosophy and "living our best life"! Tiffany was very attentive to creating a comfortable and nourishing space. I was impressed by her ability to concentrate as we were having such a good time! By the end of the procedure, I was a little nervous as I was bleeding a bit more than most people (I think maybe due to anemia but some people just bleed more than others apparently). Bleeding more means the pigment is less likely to stick, but Tiffany was sure to patiently clot it with a tissue and reapply more pigment after so it would stay. Thankfully, when she showed me the mirror I was giddily relieved as it looked AMaZiNG!! I am thoroughly impressed with the work she did. My brows looks thicker, fuller, darker (ahem- like they exist 100%!) and I feel more radiant than ever! I went for a long walk after just to show my babies off!! ‍ I feel more confident and very satisfied with my decision. Tiffany was so sweet, professional, wise, and intuitively able to connect with me on a deeper level personally and in regards to giving me exactly what I wanted (without much input from me). Her prices are also very affordable for such good quality compared to what some other salons charge. I 100% recommend her! I don't mind, but I wish I had a heads up, so definitely come prepared and plan your day around it. Also, booking is based on experience level and I chose a more junior tech, which is probably why it took longer. Next time I'd book with a higher master. I did get a small nick while they were cleaning my cuticle on one hand, which made me a little nervous, but they sanitized everything right away. They also started about 20 minutes late, but offered tea and chocolates which was a nice touch along with a gift bag since it was my first time at Yarco. I initially came in with short/ medium nails with two lifted gel and one broken finger. The broken finger had happened the night before and I was unable to adjust my appointment that I had made to let the technician know of the issue. When I arrived, I was asked if I wanted to keep the nail that short but I asked for a single nail extension and was told "I don't do that.". After shortening the rest of my nails so that the initial one did not look too odd in comparison I noticed the issues. All of the nails are different shapes, and sizes. Some are very short while others are far above the nail bed. They range from oval to square to rounded coffin. The gel overlay is inconsistent. There are some nails that are flimsy and bend to the touch while others are rock solid, and some have no gel in the corners that can cause easy lifting. When filing down the original gel, the drill bit burnt my nail. I am used to a little twinge, but this hurt so much, I had to pull my hand away. I was very sad and frustrated with the service I received today. It has made me weary.

I sent her additional message and she just ignored them. Please do more research. I also found out the "nano brow" she does is not true nano brow. She has the tool for it but does not know how to actually practice the technique. It's supposed to be whispy, not microblade-like. My only hope is that my tattoo brow will fade drastically. She fked up so bad. She shouldn't be teaching if she's this bad. She can't even do her mapping right. Maybe that's why she didn't do it when I requested it. Maybe she knew the mistake she made and didn't wanna make it obvious. I can't believe I even tipped her. She only worked on me for less than an hour. The artist I talked to said Chu was supposed to be careful and taken her time 2-3 hours to really do a better job. But her job here is apparently amateur. It's so bad.
