Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and got my eyebrows threaded immediately. She said the Yelp discount wasn't valid anymore because they stopped it due to COVID. It was quick and painless and when I asked her to cleanup above my eyebrow to be thinner she did it without attitude. I've been trying to find a good eyebrow threading or wax place that was more local and when I went on Yelp to see options this was the first choice and after looking at reviews, I decided to go and check it out. When I came in I was welcomed and even asked if I wanted something to drink as I waited for the lady to finish up with her client (I only waited for about 3 minutes). Once I was attended the lady was very nice & gentle, she took her time and knew what she was doing. She didn't rush once clients started coming in which was a plus for me because sometimes people begin rushing when a line forms but she wanted to give me perfect eyebrows which she did I was so impressed on how my eyebrows looked like one another and how clean they were. Terribly arrogant customer service. Also, even prior to the pandemic, they would always open late by 5-10 minutes. This would happen almost every single time - literally EVERY single time. I've been coming here for years and it had its pros and cons which is why I give it 4 stars. I got in for fu face threading and there is inconsistency with quality. I believe my appointments sometimes really happy with the threading and there are times when I get home and I see large patches of hair where it was missed. I also don't like the fact that when there is someone waiting they will rush through to get another client as opposed to giving everyone the same amount of attention which boils down to my first point of the salon being inconsistent. I have got my eyebrows threaded for a total of three times so far here and all I have to say is... it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE depending on who does your eyebrows! My first experience here was average, but there was no line and for $10 (without tips) it was a great deal in Mountain View. So I decided to come back for a second time. This time around an older lady helped me out and it was the WORST threading service I ever received in my 2 years of threading experience. Not only she didn't thread off all the extra hair but also made my eyebrows extremely uneven. It was an awful experience. I decided to come back today just to give this place another shot because of the location convenience and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. It was one of the best threading I ever received. Niha was the one who helped me out and was extremely pleasant to work with and most importantly - she did my eyebrows exactly how I wanted them to be done!!! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years -- at least a decade if not longer. I've gotten them done a many different locations in different states. I've been coming to this place for a couple of years without any problems. The point is I'm not new to getting my brows threaded. Anyway, today is the first time I've ever cried because of a terrible job. No one has ever made an executive decision to change the shape of my brows without asking for my permission. Until today. I'd never seen this particular woman before, and unfortunately I don't know her name. I suspect she's new. However, I wasn't nervous because I'd previously had good experiences here. Imagine my shock when I was handed the mirror. This woman had decided to remove most of my eyebrows and made them extremely thin. My beautiful thick eyebrows were suddenly gone. There's even a place where she took so much off that there is basically a gap where my eyebrow is disconnected from itself. To make matters worse, she trimmed the hairs so short that I look like I shaved my eyebrows. My advice for future customers is to pay close attention to the work being done if you don't know the person working on you. read more

Great spot if you need a quick threading. The interior is clean and well kept. They've got a private room for waxing as well. Niha did a fantastic job with my eyebrows. She really pays attention to detail and made sure to check with me about how I wanted my brows before getting started. They've got a loyalty discount as well - five eyebrow threading sessions for $40 which is awesome(comes out to $8 per session instead of $10). Haven't seen many threading spots do that! After a bad threading a few years ago, i was scared away from the idea of threading my eyebrows. On a Saturday afternoon while taking a break from accepting Uber rides, i realized i needed my eyebrows done desperately. I Yelped the first place close to where i was and this is what came up. The woman in the clinic was very nice and explained that threading wouldn't hurt as long as i held my hands in the right place to keep the skin taut. She was very gentle and took her time with the threading. I originally asked for just a clean up like i usually, then when i felt how painless it was i decided to get more off for the first time. I have really thick eyebrows and i am not much of a risk taker so asking for thinner was a big deal for me! But i took a leap and i am so happy! My face feels so free. Always able to take me without reservation- I just call and they say no problem. i have been to many places to get my eyebrows done and this place has given me the best shape with also the most comparable prices. They are not so quick that it makes you feel like nothing happened but they also don't take a horribly long time. It is a perfect amount of time where I can tell they are being meticulous and careful. you can tell they take pride in their work and the few times I have had a question about a portion that I thought I would still want taken off they discussed it and either showed me what their plan was or took it off no problem. It is a little hard to find you have to walk into an alley past the sushi place but the door is on the left. They keep the door closed often so it looks like its closed but just open the door and you will see someone :) read more
