If your looking for some cheap and quick acrylic nails , nice nails is the go to spot. Its just such a convenient location for me as I live so close.
Excellent place! My friend and I were in the area and decided to get our nails done spontaneously. Hannah was able to fit us into her busy schedule and was extremely helpful with our color selections. I am very meticulous about my nails, and Hannah was very accommodating to my wishes. She was very personable and even added gems to our nails. Nice Nails stand by their quality of work, and it shows! They always put their customers first, and go above and beyond! Their staffs are extremely kind and hardworking. Overall, if you're looking for a high-quality pampering along with celebrity-lavish nails in a welcoming ambiance, I definitely recommend their services.
Seemed rushed. Did a bad job at shaping my nails even though I called the guy out a couple of times. I had asked for round nails but I got poorly filed nails that are distended. Honestly, I could have done a better job shaping my nails myself.
I went in for a regular pedicure, as I live around the area. Hours later I began to fill pain in my toe nail thinking oh maybe he (Ana's husband) pulled some skin. I call the next day to let them know they did something to my toe that it is hurting a lot. Ana "treats" it and within hours later my toe got more swollen and I can't walk at ALL. I go into the ER and nurse said I have an infected toe nail due to their tools. When I say this is the WORST pain I've ever gone through. They had to remove my whole toe nail and now I'm walking around with a boot.
I've gone to Nice Nails for about 5 years ongoing for mani-pedi and waxing (upper lip, under arm, bikini, legs) and have brought friends with me too. Sometimes my visits are bimonthly and sometimes they are biweekly; it depends on my schedule. I honestly cannot imagine going to any other nail salon while this place is still open! First off, it's a family owned nail salon business and the prices are a lot lower than elsewhere. Secondly another thing I personally like is that I'm always on the go and I appreciate that they get things done for me quite efficiently without compromising their services. I'll attach some pics so you decide for yourself whether it's worth it to go, considering the amount of hit or miss reviews for the place. Usually Hannah does my nails but sometimes Cuong does it too; I think Hannah is a bit better when it comes to complicated designs and I like her creative input into my nail ideas, though I have no complaints about Cuong who takes care of me really well. I haven't had my nails or toes done by any one else but these two! The gel color selection is pretty impressive; one con is that the television gets sometimes static-y and the program lags. ALSO I have never ever ever met someone who waxes as efficiently as Hannah; she's really made the process so painless and my girlfriends are always so impressed with how easy she makes it seem.
NICE NAILS of Barcelona, Spain. I visited nice nails Tuesday late afternoon, the mall was relatively slow this afternoon. I was greeting warmly by "Paula". She provided a verbal quote for services to include a complete fill, cutting, and nail redesign. At all times she was most positive and excited that I had selected their shop. She listened, understood English well enough to communicate and confirm my wishes. She also introduced her coworkers, "Pauldee" as she assisted with the final art expertise. My nails are gorgeous, durable and even than I had visioned. I would highly recommend "the Paula's" for glamorous, healthy nail endeavor as they work well together. Thank you ladies, this really gave a memorable boast of Barcelona, Spain and knowing my nails would withstand another month of travel. ------Marge Gonzales/3.22.2023/USA

Worst nails I have gotten done, salon is dirty, isn't organized, nails look very bad, bad service. I wanted pretty nails for my birthday and they look hideous.
Loved it here they charge $30 for gel (and dont even charge the usual $5 to take off old gel) and they scrub your toes and add scrub and hot rocks- I see sunyvales price for this at $60 btw Kevins great at doing my gel too!
The absolute best Nail Care, eye brows! I have gel nails & toes. My nails always love look excellent! Customer for 12 years. I have recommended to all my friends! My friends are just as as I am. "NICE NAIL'S?" Should be called - "GREAT NICE NAILS PLUS!" All Hanna's employees are excellent! Kind, courteous professional! NO WAIT, beautiful nails, manny, pedi, eyebrows & waxing! Hannah does my nails and I'm always impressed! I've been a customer for over five years. Even when my nails were shorter the designs were still well-done. These days my nails are longer and Hannah paints them carefully and skillfully. A manicure can take me anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the design. I typically call to make an appointment before I come in because I hate waiting, and I know the salon can get busy. Parking is easy: there's plenty of spaces in front of the salon. Pricing is fair. It's a great deal for getting some gorgeous nails (and toes!) in the bay. The service is friendly and professional. The salon is family owned by an Asian couple (Hannah & her husband) and I love to support the AAPI community. I would highly recommend this salon!!
Absolutely love my nails. Hana always goes with any of my crazy ideas and adds her touch to it . She is amazing, go on the slow days so they take there time. Good prices and does not over charge like other places. Also love my pedicure and face wax.

Super friendly staff! I did a walk in and they took me right away. I asked for a mani and pedi and they were very attentive. They even helped me pick a nail color. The color turned out perfect! Super cute!! Def recommend to stop by and get ur nails done here. read more

Well... pictures speaks for itself, the first time my nails were done by Hannah's husband, I didn't like them so Hannah fixed them for me immediately. I don't like them at all even after they were "fixed" , this isn't worth $40. The color is lumpy and it's not what I asked for. read more

This place offers affordable manicures and pedicures. The wait is not to long if you go in without an appointment. The guy eho works here does a pretty neat job with nails. He is quick and knows his craft well. The two times i got acrylics here, both lasted over 3 weeks, which is i think great. Would definitely recommend! read more

I went in Sunday afternoon and for my nails done by the guy. He was very nice but didn't seem to focus on my nails! I told him about what I wanted fix and seemed to keep getting frustrated with me so I just gave up on him honestly. So I left Sunday but realized that the nails he put on me were way worse than I thought so I went back Monday and again he didn't pay attention and he fixed it but he kept getting mad so again I gave up on it and decided I will just not return I paid $48 to be completely unhappy with my nails! read more

Much love to this place! I think it's important for every guy to get their manicures/pedicures done. It's a general rule for men's hygiene and grooming. Tina and Hanna did a wonderful job working on my feet. I got my pedi done with my younger sis and uncle. We always have a great experience here. Their service is on time and on point. They don't like to refuse here. They are thorough and careful with their craft. You'll definitely leave here feeling fresh. My feet and legs were scrubbed, nails trimmed, hot stone massage, lotion included and hot towel dry. For $20 this is a steal. Tina and Hanna also love talking and having a simple conversation with their customers. I recommend this to the people of the South Bay! Cheap, great work, and excellent customer service!! I have come here for many many years and today's trip will be my last. I was getting my nails done for my birthday and all I wanted wanted basic french tips and that seemed undoable today. Really really disappointing to spend $70 on gel on both the manicure and pedicure. Thumbs down. read more

As a first timer here, it's nice to see the workers share a close bond with their clients because it makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. They were quite busy when I came in, but I didn't have to wait too long as my nails were done swiftly soon after. I really love the shape, especially since most places mistake coffin as square and the prices are very reasonable. read more

So I have mixed feelings about this place :/ Location: this place like many is found in a shopping center so parking is easy. The "salon" is pretty small about 4 pedicure chairs and 4 tables for manicure and everything looks kinda dated and running down. Experience: my overall experience was not bad. I went in for an acrylic set. I literally hadn't had my nails done in years because I have the horrible habit of biting my nails and I always feel bad when I go get my nails and they comment on it. With that said the guy that did my nails here never made me feel bad about it, he said it was no problem and made no fuss about it which made me feel great. However despite the friendly interaction the actual nails weren't great. First my cuticles did not get any attention. And most importantly he was going a bit fast and briskly and made one of my fingers bleed a bit. It wasn't excruciatingly painful but obviously that's not suppose to happen and he didn't even apologize... So in conclusion, although I was so relieved he made me feel at ease about my tiny nails, that was about the only real big positive. Although their pricing was the most affordable that I found for a gel set in the end I felt like I really got what I paid for. (Price: gel $25) read more

Be ware of this salon! Not exactly sure the names of the 2 nail techs that I got done by but they might be the owners considering that they are the only 2 people working there during this time. I've only been twice. Both times to get a pedicure done. The first time, a male worker handled my set. (Keep in mind, I myself am a nail technician so I know what proper service and outcome should look like!) The first time I went the man who helped me didn't take his time. He was working very carelessly on my feet, it was painful. After pushing my cuticles back with a cuticle pusher he nipped away any non living skin that had grown out into the nail bed. All was fine until he cut a THICK layer of my LIVING skin from underneath my pinky toe. It started leaking blood and was extremely painful. The pain and discomfort lasted for about a week after my pedicure. Although I was unhappy about this is let it slide.. once I was done I noticed my polish (gel) was painted on very sloppy and some was even spilling onto my skin... I paid for my service and went on my way. Now.. since this is one of the only places open near me during this time I decided to give it another shot, we all have our bad days! 1 days ago (yesterday) I went in again, this time the female tech helped me. First of all, when I asked for a color she told me my skin was "too dark" for it and then proceeded to offer me a darker shade that would "look nicer on me" according to her.. oh well I let her do what she did. She was more careful with the cuticle prepping. BUT, when using the tool to removed dead skin she was EXTREMELY rough on the top part of my foot which there is no dead skin anyways.. I now have a rug burn like rash on my foot which has caused some discomfort. Fast forward to today, literally 1 day later and my left pinky toes polish chipped and peeled off. My right ring toe chipped and peeled off. My paint is on horribly as before. I'm assuming this is because of the polish being applied on my cuticle area. I hope all of the other employees there aren't this bad. My experience was horrible and I will not be going there again.! Pictures attached if you'd like to see for yourself. read more

This is a cool place to get your nails done. I got some temperature changing nails and they worked perfectly for me. They look so beautiful and they're just amazing. I totally recommend this place. Last time I didn't like how the guy did my nails, but this time they came out amazing. There are certain people who have the talent of doing nails, and others that don't. But it's still a good place to get your nails done, just choose wisely who does them. read more

I really enjoyed getting my nails done here! Took their time and very friendly. They are only seeing a couple people at once due to Covid regulations so I very much appreciate their time and attention to detail. I know my nails will last me and they are so cute! She even showed me a color that would better match with what I had originally picked out and my nails turned out better than I think they would have, had she not suggested the better color match. I got a manicure on Friday the 12 of February. Ana's husband did my manicure and when he was doing it he wasn't fully painting my whole nails. I didn't want to say anything and thought maybe he would fix it after he put the last coat and he didn't. I was very unhappy and still give him a $7 tip. On Valentine's Day Sunday my gel manicure where already cracking and peeling off. Today is my 1st week with my gel manicure and 2 of my nails where half off. I thought gel manicure lasted longer. The work he did looks like a kid did it, I could of done it myself and maybe done a better job. read more

Take away the fact that it's a given that when the Viet staff starts talking in their language they're talking about you, this nail salon is so far better than where I have gone. The first time I went for a new set of gel nails here, it was on a late Saturday where I just came from work and was attending an evening gala the same day. The salon is easy to find and parking isn't busy. I always get to park right in front of the entrance. Nice Nails is located in a little strip in Sunnyvale. At first, this place appears tacky and kinda untidy...well, so are the rest of them nail salons run by the same groups of people. Service is what matters. Come in Con! Oh boy, was I surprised the first time I got service here. The manager Anna, got me seated and here comes a Vietnamese dude who starts checking out my nails. I was like, "you're doing my nails???". He said, "yes" I said, "my nails look ugly", he replied, "that's OK". Hmmm. So I start telling Anna and Con what I want done. Jaimie's Hair and Nails did a very unsatisfactory job on my French Tips and I was hoping this place - Nice Nails - can fix it. The lady next to me who was at that time drying her nails started talking to me and she showed me her nails - very neatly done and really nice. Anna did her nails so I was a little nervous that, one, Anna wasn't doing my nails and two, it was a man who was and it has never happened to me before. Con was very gentle and did a really good job! After he finished with my nails, I couldn't wait to flaunt my hands. That's how good his work is. Now, a week after, I needed a mani-pedi. I dropped by Nice Nails without calling and Con wasn't there. It was Chinese New Year Day and Con was off. Anna was inside the waxing room and she gave instructions to these two staff who were not doing anything at the time. They had a hard time understanding what I said and I got a little frustrated. I didn't want them to mess up my French Tips as one of them started applying acetone over my right finger nails. Later on, Anna came out and gave them specific instructions. These girls are Hua and En (sounds like an Izakaya/pho restaurant name) and they were pretty young-looking, I wondered if they had a green card or something. Hua and En broke into my toes and fineger nails. They both started asking me typical questions like "you not work today?" and "you have a boyfriend now?'. I tried not to look at them while they worked so I was just watching General Hospital on their flat screen TV. Hua and En did a great job too! The mani-pedi was $25 and I gave them $5 tip each. The French Tips gel set by Con was $25. Not bad at all. I cannot wait to go back to Nice Nails. I'll call before going to make sure they're not busy or so I'll know if Con is there. During the times I went, they eventually became so busy. There's a huge selection on -tada!- OPI nail polish. Much to my delight. This is definitely a plus. Good job Nice Nails. They also taught me how to sau Chuc mung nom moi and how it's pronounced. I was so telling my friends that at work the next day. read more
