Love the color options and the quality for the price is hard to beat. Took less than an hour and Mary was so sweet and redid any designs I wasn't sure about. I brought in a new design she hadn't tried before (bamboo leaves with some snow) and it turned out pretty well. I asked her to take some creative freedom and she brought out some cute nail stickers that were perfect for the holidays. My usual place in Menlo Park was under construction so I went into Noble Nails for a powder/dip manicure. It was clear right away that Noble is trying to save time, the woman filled a plastic bag full of 100% strength acetone and promptly dipped my hand in it. Not realizing it was acetone, I felt the immediate sting of the chemical irritate every cut and nick on my hand. I insisted that the woman foil wrap my nails, yet she tried again at the cutting corners approach, this time soaking a towel with acetone and asking me to soak my fingers on top of it. Finally, after some back and forth, she agreed to foil wrap my nails as any good manicurist should. Her flaw was again impatience. She didn't want to wait for the foil wrapping to do its work and immediately started sanding the heck out of my previously healthy nails. Not surprisingly, a few days later, my nails began to chip. Two weeks later and I have jagged nails. The polish is chipping off and the top layer has shed from the tops of of a few of my nails. Pictures for reference. It was the worst experience. Powder dip manicures usually last, but this one couldn't even make it past a week. I am sure some of you have had good experiences with Noble. I wasn't so lucky and am angry at myself for having gone. It's a terrible practice to require clients to soak their hands in such harsh chemicals. It was easy to get an appointment here. Its a small salon, quite crowded when everyone is working. I noticed an elderly woman with a walking stick had to maneuver her way out slowly, dodging a lot of chairs and stools. My manicure looked amazing when I left but after 3-4 days I realized that the skin around my nails was all torn and cut because the manicurist had cut too much of my cuticle and 'dead skin'. I've never had this problem and its been a month and a half since I was at Noble Nails. My skin has still not healed! Thanks to this place I have uneven skin surrounding all 10 fingers and have to keep putting cuticle oil to keep that area soft. read more

I use to like this place felt very welcomed but now they completely judge you and stare at you like if your some type of creature before they speak up to welcome you in! They were definitely talking about me and the only reason I didn't walk out was because I was desperate to get my toes done today for my graduation. It's also 2025. We need to have a machine that takes card or Apple Pay that the customer is able to pay on their end . The ladies here are so nice and skilled at what they do! I came in for a gel manicure without an appointment and they got me seated within 10 minutes despite it being a busy Saturday. I had a color picked out but when I sat down and told the manicurist the look I was going for (sheer pink jelly glitter), she knew exactly what I wanted and what to use and picked out a different shade instead. And she was totally right; she was able to create the exact look I wanted. She shaped my nails and cuticles so expertly. The gel coat was also very even. At the end, she threw in an extra neck/shoulder massage while my nails were under the UV light for the last time. Fabulous!! The service was impeccable and there was so much patience in doing the custom design I wanted. The lady was very accommodating and really comfortable to work with. She ensured I was satisfied with her work and whenever I felt it wasn't what I wanted she made the changes to ensure I was satisfied. I am coming here again and believe this will be my to-go place for my gels. They are fab for walk-ins and phone appointments too. Today I got my nails done, it's been 5 years since I got acrylic nails. And I absolutely am in love with them. The nail technicians there do such amazing work and are so talented. Plus they have great service and will help you whether you have an appointment or no appointment. You walk in and there complimentary cookies, water, & tea. Such great art and work they do. Strong dislike - that's how I feel about this place. You walk in and haven't even sat down before they are trying to sell you a $50 pedi with massage. I got it the first time and it wasn't worth it. I left feeling I should have paid for the $30 massage and then got the hour massage for $25 at the place next door. So this time, I got the $30 and almost left because they wouldn't stop badgering me about upgrading to the $50 pedi. Then, to add insult to injury, it's now an hour or two after the appt and my toes look horrible. The polish is wrinkled and uneven and the cuticles are dry and peeling (probably from their callous gel upgrade I was talked into). Very mixed feelings on this nail salon...the customer service is great and the hours are very flexible (especially for weekends) but im not sure if I would go back. They were the only place still open on a Saturday around 6 so I went in for a full set and a pedicure. I didn't have to wait, right away they began with my deluxe pedicure. The pedicure and the tech who helped me was amazing! My gel polish is the only thing I am not happy with, initially when I left they looked amazing but by the time I got home I noticed air bubbles. I LOVE Noble Nails!!! Every time one of my girlfriends wants to go for a mani/pedi I always suggest NN but they always want to find a place with a Groupon or Spa Finder places. I have yet to find a place that delivers such a clean and welcoming environment with expert technicians who really take their time. You don't get just a pedicure. It's a foot massage, a leg massage, careful cuticle care and you even get a full on neck and shoulder massage along with your hand and arms after your manicure. So disappointed in this place. What started out great, being given a water, cookie and a seat immediately ended up being extremely disappointing. For $50 I should have at least received the bare minimum quality work. I have a huge bubble in my thumb, a bump on two fingers and residue of the white under my pink. I have photos on Saturday and I'm so disappointed with this quality. I should have noticed that it was not great in the store (I did notice the pointer finger that she "fixed") but they were literally closing up, turning off lights as I was finishing up. Was really hoping this place was as great as all the reviews say. The technician doing my manicure hurt my cuticles over and over again. The nail paint doesnt even go to the back of my cuticle. To start off, I'm giving noble nails 1 star for the cleanliness of the salon. That was the only positive. There was a lot of chatter among the employees, more than the normal nail salon. I had asked for the women to shape my nails into a square shape, and skip the nail clippers. What I got was a very round and uneven nail that doesn't have a shape at all. I could of done this in my own home and saved myself 25$. I had paid extra for rhinestones and I wanted them placed along my cuticle, and that was simple enough. But they messed that up. My rhinestones had gaps between the stones and are uneven. As for the polish, all I can say is that I won't return. There are parts of my nails that are unpainted, and some parts of my nails that are a shade lighter that the other part of my nail because the polish wasn't put on evenly. Two day post review: I now only have 1 out of the 8 rhinestones on each toes. I work with children and walk around shoeless all day-no shoe or sock excuses read more

I live close by but have been driving down to my beloved San Jose nail salon because I haven't found anything closer that even comes close in terms of quality, cleanliness, and customer service. I was hesitant to try Noble Nails because of such mixed Yelp reviews, and I should have listened to my gut instincts. I came in yesterday for a simple manicure to test the waters, and it was very average. The nail tech soaked my fingers, filed my nails, and trimmed the cuticles. But it was bizarre that she then put oil on my hands, halfway rubbed it in (15 seconds max!) and then told me to go wash my hands. No lotion? No hand massage? Bummer. She polished my nails and didn't really clean up my cuticles where polish had gotten on my skin. She also did such a half-ass job with the clear top coat that on some of my fingers I can see a distinction between matte and shiny. Ugh. Needless to say, I won't be returning. I'm disappointed, but not necessarily surprised. read more

I went in about 1:30 and I didn't make an appointment I was going in to get a ombré set of nails but the lady available couldn't do ombré and she apologized although she didn't have to and I could tell she sincerely was sorry but then again I told her it's ok not to worry. She then made time for someone else to do my nails at 3:15 which I found very nice of her. I went in again at 3:15 and was done in about 2 hours very nice lady and she did a pretty good job.
