Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall. I was greeted by one of the owners, Lynn, who showed me which colors I could choose. She was ready for me as soon as I chose a beautiful teal. It was my first time getting acrylics. And my first time getting my nails done in years. I explained that I wanted them very short and was doing this just to try to stop biting my nails. Instead of finding that weird, she immediately said "oh you look at your nails and think 'Yummy!'" Haha - that's it exactly. They're exactly what I wanted. He asked if I wanted to trim I said yes but then he didn't cut my toes even, or do the type of French I asked for. The tech I booked with came back after an hour to work on me. I said I want square and very long (I said long 4 times) & I did not leave with long nails... I put on my appointment that I wanted a design but due to delay, we ran out of time for the design. so now I spent $190 on nails I made an appointment for & not what I anticipated leaving with. Now I am neither a cheerful mischievous sprite or a petite vivacious woman, but I found a lot to like about the Pixie Nail Spa. Foremost, I like the ability to book online. I much prefer this to a no-chip because there are NO drills involved, it dries quickly and it's vegan/gluten-free (not gonna eat it). I think I'll look for dazzle dry in all future manicures. I would like a greater variety of colors in the DD choices, and my manicure was pretty basic. TLDR? 4.5/5 stars
