Man, this is one place of refuge for me whenever I want to unwind and get pampered. The staff are great, hospitable and thorough. I really like how this place is managed. The manager is great at making sure all those who walk in are taken care of. Although there are times they are super busy and you end up waiting a while for someone to start your pedicure. They prioritize having a very sanitary business. I love it. The pedicure tubs are lined with disposable plastic. I'm impressed. So impressed because most places I've been to, I've only seen women come in for a pedicure. The times I've come in there are men, MEN, who are getting pedicures. I was very disappointed with my experience at this salon. When I got my toe nails done, they put the foam thing between my toes in a way that completely messed up the paint on my toes. When I asked them to fix it, not only did they miss two of my toe nails that got messed up, but they used the wrong color to fix it so a few of my toe nails are a slightly different color. The manicure experience was even worse. First of all, I did a dip manicure and there is a mountain of nail polish on my nails that looks and feels very strange. The woman working on my nails did not even try to fix this, she just continued in a very hurried and messy manner. I asked for a design that is supposed to look very straight and geometric, but she did not even try to make it look good, as shown in the pictures. I understand that they were busy while I was there, but it is their job to paint nails well, not rush through and half ass it. Very disappointed read more

Aweful. I've had TWO bad pedicures in a row from them. I would not recommend. I can't even look at my nails because they look so bad.

I went here after hearing nice things around them. I was promptly greeted when I walked in the door. I didn't have appointment it was no problem. The place was very clean and had many spots for manicures. They also had a lot of chairs for pedicures. Tina who food my nail was great! I was impressed on the choices of powder dip nail colors they had. They had over two hundred different colors. I will be going back soon for a pedicure. Prices are on par with other places. The only draw back is that they have a sign that they going take cash tips, but they do take credit cards for payment. read more

I've gone to Nail Tek for over 12+ years. It 's very clean and easy for walk-ins. However, today, i had the worst pedicure ever! A man named David seemed to have trouble seeing and kept pinching and filing on my skin. He kept pushing my toes down which was uncomfortable. He also took much longer than the woman at the next station. After it was over, I noticed the nails on my right foot were longer than the left and the cuticles weren't pushed back so the polish already looked like it was a week old. I am torn between 2 and 3 stars, simply because the upselling at the salon overshadowed any pleasure I had getting a mani/pedi. I spent the first 15 minutes of my pedicure turning down a more expensive pedicure or massage. I was ready to relax but they were interested in urging me to spend more. Decided to give Nail Tek a try for my daugher's 15th birthday. We both had manicures (french for me, fuschia with a flower painted for my daugher). It's been one day, 24 hours, and three of my nails have chipped off. I asked her to make the french 'moon' smaller, as it was far too large, and she was not happy to do so. Our manicures took less than 15 minutes - no hand massage, no cleaning the nails, no service. I will never go back there - and suggest you take your business elsewhere. A manicure that lasts less than 24 hours is a major rip-off. Very bad customer service, rude manicurists, and VERY over-priced services. read more

I got a princess pedicure. It was well priced , and as others mentioned clean. There was no wait and the tech Julie was gentle, very nice, and did a very good clean job. Went because it was right next to Trader Joe's and wanted to hit it up... AWFUL establishment. RUDE. Not worth your time nor money. $25 for pedicure got me infected, lady ripped the side of my toenail out, rolled eyes in front of me when I asked her to file my nails (was not willing to file in the first place). I just went here on a whim and really liked it. It is totally renovated, really clean, lots of nice brands of polish and colors. My lady was Sue and she did a great pedi. I was pretty happy there. Im trying to remember the nail technician's name, but she was great. No chip manicure lasted 6 weeks! And with a pedicure, eyebrows, and tip I was out the door for only $50. This is my usual nail place, I called last night to find out how late they were open, he said 8 it was 7:45 but Tony insisted I come in, said they were still working. The owners are super nice. Everything is clean and the tools are new or autoclaved, and now they fit the tubs with a plastic liner every time. Yes they are very busy but I've always received good service. They fixed one of my nails for free and repainted them, all after they should have been closed. Yes sometimes the service is quick but I've been to other salons that take hours and still do a crappy job. If you want a little extra attention spend a little more and get one of the deluxe pedicures, it's well worth it. read more

I have been using Nail Tek for several years. They do a great job most of the time. I find some are better than others. Kathy is my favorite she always does it perfectly or re-does it till it looks great! One thing they could do better is talk to the customer and talk in English to each other instead of their native language. It would improve their English skills which would be very helpful. They are always attentive to whatever your needs are and Sue especially works hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. My nails usually last about 2 weeks. I have also walked out of the salon and marked a nail and went right back and they fixed it, no extra charge or protest. They are the best as far as I'm concerned! read more

Well, it depends who works with you. Some girls are nice, some are rude. I had my nails done there quite often, and usually I would have some discomfort for a day or two after that... like etching, pain....I thought it was acceptable, but recently I found out about MMA...and it looks like they might have used it. The symptoms (described on the Internet) are very similar.... Does anybody know for sure if they use MMA or EMA for Acrylic nails????? BTW, the vetilation system isn't good....I remeber it stunk there when I had my nails done! Does anybody know a reputable salon in the area? And I need to know if they use MMA or EMA! read more

lovely salon. just wanted my nails trimmed down. I had just got back from a trip to new York & I could not go to the same salon to fix my nails there. Immediately the man working told me that I had to do a color change but when I said nevermind he then said he could trim them. Rude no eye contact & He also sped up the machine that trimmed my nails so fast that my fingers were burning and my hands were shaking from fear. All while laughing with the guy next to him. I was a new customer and came in for a gel fill, when I walked in I tried to look at all the colors and options but Lisa proceeded to snatch the dip colors out of my hand and tell me I had to look at gel polish only. So while looking through their very few options of gel polish I was rushed to a seat and Lisa began working on my nails before I even picked out a color. I ended up just picking a random color because 1. I was rushed, and 2. They didn't have many options to chose from and none them were really up to my liking. I also had two broken nails so while Lisa is replacing them with a new tip she curves the nail tip against my nail and pushes it down with her thumb, which I didn't know at the time made my nails prone to breaking faster (6 days). After Lisa finishes with my nails she doesn't even reshape them.. She just walked to the back and said she was finished and to pay at the front after my nails dry. After looking over my nails I realized they were out of shape, I get coffin shape.. I then had to continuously ask the other workers to bring Lisa back so she could reshape them, when she came back she had an attitude and rushed in filing them. Would give 0 stars if I could and it was a terrible first impression of the salon. Now I am left in search of a new nail salon after my nails broke in just 6 short days. read more

Was very disappointed in the customer service aspect. After a long day at work I decided to go get a gel fill and the girl working the front did not greet me. Next when picking out a color for my gel polish she disregarded to show me that they had 3 other walls for gel polish. Then I sat down and was being worked on and in the middle another customer came in a decided she wanted the lady who was working on me. Instead of making this customer wait until I was finished they decided to make me get up and move so that this customer could have her. I went to Nail Tek for new set of acrylics and a pedicure. The pedicure was atrocious. She trimmed my cuticles but that was all she did, and I hadn't had a pedi in several weeks. She seemed very concerned that I refused the salt scrub (extra charge), yet failed to give me any kind of leg massage. My acrylics went better. She was quick and they appeared to be good, until the next day. I noticed my thumb nail had 3 hairline cracks in it. Today, 4 days after my visit. All my nails are cracked.
