It's priced well enough that I can definitely afford to skip home pedicures. The facility is clean and bright, but pretty basic, which is fine for me. It was pretty busy on Saturday afternoon, but I called ahead and didn't have to wait. I'm happy to see a business doing so well despite the terrible construction on 59. Make sure you bring cash for a tip! They will let you tip on your card if you forget, but there are signs up requesting cash tips. read more

I would like to preface this by saying my girl Kim is AMAZING at doing my brows!! I love her so much and would 100% recommend her for your brows. Her hands are literal magic and they look so good! When I got my brows the other day she was unavailable. Instead a younger and newer lady did my brows. The wax took much longer than I am used to with Kim. The worst part: I got them done 1 day ago, I have a SCAB and BURN marks, I included a photo. It hurts to the touch. I think I was bleeding when leaving to appointment. Someone needs to check over this ladies certificates. I would not trust anyone else there to wax besides Kim. read more

I was in desperate need of a pedicure and T2 Nails was able to get me in for a last minute appointment, I was impressed the moment I walked in and the lady who helped me was incredible. I felt terrible I didn't look at their hours before choosing a longer pedicure but she graciously went step by step, never rushing and did a very thorough job even though closing time was coming quickly. Since then I have been back for many pedicures and started getting my nails done again after taking a 6 month hiatus, due to other salons ruining my nails. Vincent, the owner, walked me through how the Gel-X nails they offer are unlike anything else in the industry. He is very professional, kind and clearly cares about his employees, business and of course customers. From the nail technicians to stylists the design possibilities are endless, which I love! Omg I just had the best pedicure/foot massage of my life. I went with the "Hot Stone Vegan Pedicure", it's $55 and totally worth every penny. It's a high quality pedicure that most spas would easily change $80+ for something similar. A HUGE plus is that they're very clean, use new unopened tools and products. Love that! I'm not sure about the guy but the other ladies did not do a great job unfortunately. My pedicure was $55 and looked like a child did it, even after the other tech tried to fix it. The polish did not go on smoothly, the nails were trimmed uneven, and no real effort was placed on scrubbing my heels. The nails were done by the other tech and were not much better. The shape was not great. However, the products appear to be high quality and the techs seem nice enough. However, $125 later, I will not be returning. read more

So, I've been eyeballing this shop for months because it's located 5 minutes from my job. But the reviews were off and on so I stuck to my current nail salon for a while. Finally, I went in due to my nail lady cancelling and I used this as a chance to give it a try. The location itself is very pretty and clean. I went in on a weekday around 4 so there was no wait, which was nice because I was on lunch. I was assigned to a tech who I got my normal full set acrylic French. These normally are $30 anywhere else because of the white tips. So here's where it went downhill and I WONT go back! We never had the conversation regarding acrylic versus gel. Which did not bother me because I tend to not really do gels unless I am going on vacation etc. However, because the tech used a gel TOP COAT the manager wanted her to charge me for a gel fullset of $45.00. Why in the world would I pay for a gel fullset when I did not get that? Sure, charge me an additional $5 for a topcoat if you wish, but to argue and tell me I had one thing over the other is completely unacceptable. I had high plans of changing all my services to this location to save on time, but because of something so simple I'll stay away. Given this was my first time, and Juliet did an amazing job, I rather not pay $65 in the future for gel. I'd much rather spend that money with an independent tech. read more

I have been a customer there for a little over a year and over that time there has been numerous little disappoints that I have chosen to overlook. I have finally hit my breaking point and will NEVER return. The final straw was when they completely ignored my appointment time. After waiting 40 minutes past my set appointment, mind you without any acknowledgment from them on their rudeness for making me wait, I had to leave. No apologies, just more rudeness. Prior to this, the Dip manicures were chipping within the first week, my cuticles were never done, the guy who I had doing my nails would go out for a smoke and return without washing his hands. That in of its self is BEYOND GROSS!! I am a loyal and generous customer and they clearly didn't appreciate my business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Hands down best no-chip manicure ever. It truly DOESN'T CHIP. I think it's the product they use and the precision of application. If a no chip is sloppy, and the paint gets on the cuticle it will lift with the first week and for sure chip. But at T2, the polish is expertly painted and there is no paint on my cuticles. I would recommend making an appointment and not walking in. They've always been pretty accommodating to me when I walked in, but I have seen people wait a LONG time before. They aren't always fully staffed, so better to play it safe than sorry. But like I said...I've always been able to walk in and not have to wait for a pedi, mani, or wax. They do the best job with brow and lip waxing! T2 nails is very well priced, which as a college student is one of my top factors in choosing a nail salon. I get acrylic fills & sets here regularly and am always happy! They accept tips by credit card too which is AMAZING!!! I'm one of those people who rarely have cash so it's great to not have to leave, go to the bank, and come back to get my nails pretty. The only thing I would want is for them to offer complimentary drinks. I came here to get my mani/pedi for my wedding. I got a gel/no chip ombre glitter design on my fingernails. It looked really good! I also got a no chip french pedicure. The guy who did the pedicure did not talk to me at all... the result was nice, but it started chipping a few days afterwards. The part owner, Sonny, did my nails. He was super friendly and kept talking to me. He also offered me a drink. My only complaint was he didn't file everything perfectly evenly, but you wouldn't notice unless I told you. My nails looked gorgeous afterwards! I also got two tips. My total was $65 + tip. I came in with my girlfriend and she was only getting a manicure. We sat on opposite ends or at least really far away from each other where we would have to scream to hear each other... I thought they could've waited to do her nails after I got my pedi done so we could at least talk to each other without everyone else in the room hearing our conversation. Just went here for the first time for a weekend mani/pedi and I must say, I'm a fan! Everyone who worked there was really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I didn't have to wait at all and my services were done in a timely fashion. I was a little skeptical due to the comments about the place not looking nice, but I thought everything looked clean and fairly up to date. I read the reviews posted on here and after having a bad experience at another place in the area decided to try it out. I have to say that this was 100%the best no chip I have ever gotten. When we got there we decided to also get manicures - which they were very flexible about. They sat us next to each other so we could chat the whole time and were very friendly and did a wonderful job. I was very impressed with the amount of time and pressure they applied when doing the foot and hand massage. It was wonderful! They also took the extra time to add another coat of nail polish to make the color really pop and sprayed our toes and placed our feet in bags in our shoes and socks so we didn't mess up the paint. Made my first visit today on a whim, as a walk in for a pedicure. I had to wait a few minutes which wasn't a problem as I picked out my polish. A gentlemen working on a pedicure for another client got me set up at the pedicure station, he then preceded to get on the phone and have an aggressive with what sounded like a co-worker. Not appropriate in front of clients in my opinion. Nikki did my deluxe pedicure. I liked the parafin treatment and hot towel wraps, just watch the temp. Slightly disappointed in the polish job. I only received one coat of polish and some of my toes were smudge and had polish around the edges. The salon was clean and Nikki wore gloves per my request, through most of the pedicure.
