My daughter is young, and I was intentional about what service I was allowing her to get. Instead of Gel-X, the technician applied acrylic. We did not request acrylic, nor did we agree to acrylic as a substitute. When we brought it to their attention, the situation was handled terribly. Instead of acknowledging that the wrong service had been performed and trying to find a reasonable solution, we were basically told that a service had already been done and payment was required. Their solution was to remove the nails. It was my daughter's birthday. We had other plans and did not have time for them to remove an entire set and leave her without the nails she'd been excited about for her birthday. I also wasn't comfortable putting my young daughter through an additional removal process because the salon performed a service we didn't request. I contacted them afterward as well, and their response was that all sales are final and because we declined their offer to remove the nails, we were still responsible for payment. This wasn't a situation where we simply didn't like the finished product. We asked for Gel-X and received acrylic. Those are not the same service. The most disappointing part was the lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability. A mistake can happen anywhere, but how you treat a customer when a mistake happens says a lot about a business. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon based on our experience.

Since it was Valentine's weekend and very busy, I had driven about 30 minutes and was worried I wouldn't be seen. To their credit, they tried to accommodate me and got me in within about 30 minutes. I chose a coffee-based pedicure, which was a nice and relaxing concept. However, I did have a visible open cut on my right leg, and usually salons check or avoid such areas. Lemon was applied during the treatment and it was quite painful when it touched the wound. After I mentioned it, they cleaned the area and provided a band-aid, but I do wish there had been more care and attention beforehand. On the positive side, the ambiance is very cute and well-decorated, with a fun vibe and even a small sidebar for drinks or mocktails. I showed them a reference photo for my Valentine-themed red and white nails, and they did a great job -- I really loved how my nails turned out. Because of the appointment confusion and the injury lemon pour issue, I'd rate this visit 3.5 stars. I truly liked my nails and the overall vibe, so I would be open to trying them again to see how the experience is next time.

I visited Lisle Nail Lounge a few days ago for a simple full set, and unfortunately, my experience…read morewas extremely disappointing. During the service, the technician applied so much pressure while working on my nails that I began bleeding and experienced severe pain. I told her that I was in pain, but the service continued, including on my other nails, while I was visibly uncomfortable and shaking. I am still experiencing significant pain today. After the service, I felt that the technician was rude and dismissive when I was trying to pay. I also asked if I could apply lotion or something to help soothe the pain, but I was not allowed to do so. I was also surprised to see a tip added to my total, which increased the amount by approximately $40 compared with what we normally pay. Because I was still in significant pain and overwhelmed by the situation, I did not feel able to argue about the charge or request a refund at the time. What makes this especially disappointing is that I had been a loyal customer for months and had already given the salon another chance after previous experiences that left me feeling disrespected. Unfortunately, this was the third time I have had an issue with the way I was treated, and this experience was the final straw. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously. Customers should feel safe, respected, and comfortable during a service, especially when they communicate that they are experiencing pain. Based on my experience, I will not be returning

I was a walk in appointment, and they told me to come back in 40 minutes. Totally understandable, so I did. When I returned, I checked in and then I sat there waiting for another 10 minutes before another woman walked in and said she also had a 6:00 appointment. The staff then told a client whose nails they were already working on that they couldn't continue her design because the woman who had just arrived had an appointment. After hearing that conversation...and knowing I had already been waiting over 20 minutes myself...I spoke up and said that I also had a 6:00 appointment. The other woman left because she was understandably frustrated, and then the staff proceeded to ignore me. I get it if they are busy, but the fact that there was no communication between any one of their employees or me was ridiculous. I finally asked how much longer they think it would be. They said they were finishing a design. (Even though they were about to stop the design to work on the nails of the woman that came in 10 minutes after me) I asked again, and they told me about 20 more minutes. So I was told to wait 40 minutes before coming back, then waited another 20 minutes after I arrived, only to be told to wait an additional 20 minutes. That's completely unacceptable and incredibly disrespectful of customers' time. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never be coming here again.
