I've been coming here since Covid and recommend every time some asks for a good place to get a mani/pedi. I'm glad to see the business is busy busy. They do accept walk ins but plan to call before coming in to make sure they have time for your service. i have been there when they cannot accommodate a walk in. But if you call they will schedule you pretty quickly. The prices just increased to $55 for a regular mani/pedi but I think that is competitive with other places. After dealing with another salon that kept changing staff and used poorly sanitized tools, I needed a better option. Wow! The salon was very clean very sanitary. It is small. There are six nail stations and six pedicure stations. My normal salon was booked and I came here. One of my nails broke, and I asked for a tip (glue on since it was short) they don't do that either. They do not do dip which is fine because today I wasn't going in for dip and I wanted to go the no chip route the pedicure that I got was great manicure. Great they use these collagen gloves on your hands, which was very refreshing. They do not have hot stone pedicures. It seems like it's a small shop that specializes in certain Services. I am looking for a new nail salon and when I walked in there were no customers and two technicians who didn't say hello or greet me at all. When I asked if they could do a gel extension they said they didn't do any type of nail extensions and only did natural nails. I love how clean and relaxing urban nail salon is and I have had some great mani and pedi experiences since they've opened. I went yesterday to get a pedicure and no chip manicure since my boyfriend has been strongly urging me to go get a manicure. I went with a favorite OPI light pink color "Lisbon wants moor" since I believe this weekend is the weekend he is going to pop the question. Tseegi did a great job on my pedicure however after looking at it my no chip manicure is bumpy, uneven, and it looks grown out because it's not close to the cuticle. Maybe the polish was just old? I had a terrible experience at Urban nails last year with a technician who hurt my toe 3 times when I mentioned I had an ingrown toe nail. Do not recommend. As stated in previous reports, they are unfriendly and if you happen to get the manager he will accept all calls coming in while he is doing your service. Avoid if you can. read more

The most awful spa experience I've ever had. The pedicure person got up every minute to answer the phone. So many interruptions!. How is the a good experience for your customer???? It's not. After about the 8th time I told her I was leaving. All she did was remove my no chip polish, trim my nails and do a quick bUff and massage. When I told her I was leaving she said I owed her $35. I love this nail salon. It's still pretty new and it's very clean. My old nail salon closed during the pandemic, so I was looking for a new place. A blessing in disguise because I love this one so much more. The first time I had a manicure and pedicure there, I was short on time. Covid protocols are taken into consideration: I like how you can actually SEE the nail bottle and pick it up unlike my other place. They just ask you yo sanitize hands first. No problem! Plastic barriers are in place for the manis, but not pedi chairs. I'm cool with it. I came in for a classic pedicure and had Suzy... great great pedicure. I've never had someone take their time on my toes before! She was precise and great. Highly recommend Suzy. I have a pretty bad toe nail split that needs attention constantly and for the first time, someone actually did a good job on it. Instead of using glue, Suzy used a paper to cover the split and then did a whole 20 minute session on it - toe nail looked brand new I've never seen it look like that before. Price breakdown: classic pedicure is $35 and the toe split care is an additional charge of $5 but I don't care, it's the best I've seen it! They usually do a nice job although sometimes when I ask for round, I get oval and sometimes slightly pointy. Sometimes not all nails are the same length, so you do have to keep an eye on them. But my biggest issue is when I call and a man picks up, I can never get an appointment that same day. If one of the women answer the call, they always get me in for an appointment. I'm on the prowl for a new nail salon. I actually scoured YELP for guidance and liked what I read about Urban and the other plus was location. I walked in without an appointment on a rainy day. It was super clean, Netflix on television, and they were very well equipped. Hands down (the pun is intended) one of the best manicures I've had in a long time. My polish (no chip) was carefully removed, and the esthetician placed lotion filled cut off gloves on my hands while she worked on them. When she pulled out the polish they put it in a machine that shook it... much like when you buy paint. My cuticles got treated well, one of my nails had cracked on the side and needed a repair. Manicure was flawless! One of my pet peeves is leaving after a manicure and having rough/snags on my nails that make me break out a nail file to get rid of them! Other pet peeve is polish pooling up around my cuticles. Not here! I found out my esthetician only works there on Tuesdays and Fridays, they prefer tops in cash but Zelle and Venmo work well for tipping. Since I don't work on Tuesdays and Fridays her schedule works for me. Ask me her name? All I know is I sent tip via Zelle to Ganzorig! Great service, great job, very clean, organized and pleasant! First let me say that this is a brand new salon. Unbelievably clean and bright. Definitely covid conscious. Went for a no chip manicure for me and my granddaughter. Today is day 12 of our manicure. With the exception of the little bit of growth of my nails, my manicure is still beautiful, as is my grandaughter's. She is 10, normally by now, she's picked all of the polish off.
