I got a no chip manicure over the Labor Day weekend and was really pleased. I was looking for a new place to go, and when i called to ask about their services/prices, they recommended I made a reservation, which I did. A few hours later, I arrived and Hanna was my nail tech. I got my old no chip/gel removed and replaced for $43. The color I chose was a deep burgundy, almost dark brown/purple, not too far from my usual preferred colors in the fall. It was ZGel 84 "Camp Ground." The salon was pretty full, and I was seated promptly at a station next to another client. There were two stations side by side that flanked the side wall. The other wall were pedicure chairs. This seemed like a popular place, and while it's not a hot-hand-towels sort of place, it was a good quality mani for a decent price. Hanna took her time and carefully filed and shaped my nails to the shaped I preferred, and was gently with my one broken nail that was a little shorter than the others. There are TVs with cooking shows playing (perfect, for me) and I was in/out without issue. I was satisfied with my mani and Bella Nora seems like a reliable salon! Judging by the good reviews (which is how I found and chose this place) and the quality of their services, I will be back! read more

Appointments strongly suggested as this is a very busy nail salon. Polite and friendly staff. Appointment time honored within five minutes. Very clean place...Pedicure foot tubs lined with plastic, which is discarded after use. Very hygienic. Got a basic mani/pedi. (Price as of this date-6/20/25-was $57). Technician communicated well, inquiring about preferences as she proceeded. (Shape/length/etc.) Services provided were exactly what I requested. I would highly recommend Bella Nora. read more

A bunch of racist pieces of shit who rush service and turn their faces up when you ask them to do what they're paid for!!! The whole time during my service I used google translate to hear her talking shit and when she heard it she begun to ask questions and trying to seem into the pedicure, moving so fast she didn't clip all my toenails and got mad when I didn't let her keep my change!!!! I chose Bela Nora Nail & Spa based on the excellent reviews and the impression of professionalism and skill. For several months, I came regularly with the hope of finding consistency and quality in the services. Unfortunately, my most recent visit confirmed a pattern that has gradually led me to reconsider returning. I initially started with gel manicures. At first glance, the work seemed acceptable, but upon closer inspection the nails were consistently much thicker than they should have been. After mentioning this, the product used on subsequent visits felt noticeably lower in quality and too thin, which also compromised the final result. I later tried dip powder. Although I requested a square shape, it was repeatedly filed into a more rounded style, and the overall application didn't reflect the precision I look for. I am very detail-oriented, and I value technicians who take their time and maintain a high standard--something I did not experience consistently. To give my natural nails a break, I decided to stop using enhancements. When I arrived for my last appointment--originally booked for dip powder but changed last minute to a regular manicure--the experience deteriorated even further. The technician who usually does my nails was working on a more elaborate and higher-paying service, so someone else began removing the remaining dip powder. The removal was rushed, uneven, and left patches of product still adhered to the nail surface. When my usual technician finally took over, the manicure was done in less than ten minutes. No effort was made to correct the incomplete removal, and the polish was applied quickly without proper finishing or drying. I had hoped for a level of service that matched the salon's reputation, but the inconsistency, lack of attention to detail, and the feeling of being rushed were disappointing. I value good customer service and meticulous work, and unfortunately I did not experience either during my last visit. For these reasons, I am no longer certain I will be returning. read more

I've been going to Bella Nora for years and refuse to go anywhere else. Ny is my go-to and she is top notch! I showed her 2 pictures of nails I wanted combined into 1 manicure and she immediately knew what I was talking about and executed it even better than the photos! I'm always impressed by her attention to detail. For example, I requested gemstones on top of my chrome ombré French tip manicure and without me asking, she thought to put smaller sized gems on my pinky compared to my three middle fingers and even larger ones on my thumb. I also got a pedicure from another technician and I smudged both my pinky toes walking to the manicure station. They were more than happy to fix it without any complaint! read more

I was very happy with the manicure and pedicure I received from Heidi. I had acrylics on my nails that really needed to be removed. She removed them and gave me a great dip manicure. Also, the pedicure was detailed and very good. Highly recommend this clean location. read more

Made appointments for a Friday evening for two, it was a very pleasant time. They sent a COVID consent form prior to your appointment to make sure you are well for the appointment and nail tech which is nice. It's not a huge salon but big enough to space everyone out and include dividers when getting a pedicure. They do ask you to wash your hands upon entering and do take your temperature! I had Kris that evening and he was amazing! I got a basic pedicure and a no chip manicure but his massages were hands down the best! I'll be booking him again in the near future. I came here for the first time today for a dip manicure and basic pedicure because of all the amazing reviews and customer photos. While the salon is beautiful, clean and my nail technician was very kind... my nails are a mess. I couldn't tell how poorly done they were until I got in outdoor lighting. I had dip all over my hands, under my fingers and cuts on my cuticles that kept bleeding. My toe nail polish was only on half of most of my toe nails. Super disappointing because everything else about the salon was wonderful, but I spent $77 plus a $15 tip to end up having to fix my nails at home. read more

I'm a nail tech and massage therapist myself and I've been coming here for over two years for regular manicures and pedicures. Every single time, without fail, the customer service is absolutely stellar. I think I have seen just about every tech there, quite honestly. They are all skilled, well trained, up for a challenge and all with a smile! A previous reviewer lamented the lack of wine, tea, water or free massage on offer. I know Bella Nora used to provide complimentary bottled water on every visit but since COVID safety rules were introduced, it was probably deemed unwise to do so. Certainly many salons and spas no longer offer refreshments still. In order to provide wine or any form of massage, a business would have to obtain the appropriate costly licenses; the alcohol license would almost certainly be denied anyway due to local ordinances. I have brought two large wedding parties to Bella Nora and each time, with the owner's approval, I've brought champagne for my party. Johnny even offered waiter service! So BYOB is always an option. I really want to love this salon. The staff is SO friendly and they do a great job with COVID protocols. They require customers to complete a covid consent form and the salon is very clean. The nail techs always do a great job making sure your nails are perfect before you leave. I have only visited this salon twice, but each time my no chip manicure has chipped within 3 days. I can't justify paying $45 for my nails for them to chip in a few days. I was disappointed because I had these done for my engagement photos. read more

This was my 1st visiting Bella Nora for a no chip manicure and spa pedicure as I just moved to Plainfield from Chicago. I had a great experience! The front desk staff greeted me, I was asked to wash my hands upon entry and everyone was wearing a mask which in the current environment is still appealing to me. Also my nail tech was ready for me and very polite. My nails turned out great...although my toe chipped about an hour later. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because my old nail salon in chicago offered wine, tea or water when you arrived and a back massage for no additional charge. I will be coming back to this salon but wish they had these other incentives. read more

Hands down do I recommend Bella Nora Nails. I have been searching the area for the last 3 years of living in plainfield and I am so happy to have found my nail place. I love that they usually go by appointments, and are always accommodating. The quality service never peels, chips or fades. Cee does my nails and always nails it. Jasmine I love for pedicures. I'm pretty bummed to write this as I would come here religiously when it was the previous owners. I have found somewhere new to do my nails but come every now and then for a pedicure. Today will be my last time ever going. My husband and I spent $200 on pedicures with tip- which was fine, we knew the up charge for the pedicures but the gentleman who did my pedicure filed down my heel so much that my heel is red and raw and I can't put any pressure on it. It stings to touch or put any water or anything to it. I know I have dry skin but he needs to learn when to stop filing. This has never happened at any other nail salon I've been to and this is now the second time it has happened here. I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my $90 pedicure because anything that was rubbed on it, hurt. Please train your staff better. read more

I came in yesterday with my friend and I got a dip nail set and she got full set acrylics. As you can see from my picture, the man I was sat down with ruined my cuticles. They were bleeding and they are still very sore. I can't even run my hands under water without them burning. In regards to my friend, she was sat with a lady and her nails look fabulous. She barely used the metal wand on the nails and initially didn't even put the polish underneath like they did on my toes. I'm really sad and disappointed about the way my nails turned out because of how much I spent I could've just gotten pink glitter instead of spending money on the cat eye. The cat eye on my toes looks incredible. You can see the difference in the video. It's just one of those things where the service was so outstanding and they overall did a great job, so I hate to ask them to fix it for a third time. However, the cat eye on my fingernails looks very dull and like a simple pink glitter polish that I shouldn't have paid for it. I highly recommend trying this Nail Salon. I was ignored and I simply left and went about my day... Literally an hour later and my nails look worse than when I went in.... I don't recommend this place for a simply regular nail polish manicure. Their other services might be better but this was not a great experience for me.

Can I please get more stars!? I absolutely love Bella Nora, I've been going here for over a year now and have never left a review because I always leave blown away by my nails and cannot wait to show them off! But I feel this place and it's team deserve rave reviews! I've seems a few different mail techs and each one has graciously listened to my requests. I even once went in with an odd request for a chrome French manicure and they completed a whole set only to realize it would set and retain its shine better if they did it another way and asked if I would be ok with them starting over to assure a great end result! Blown away! Most places would just send you right out into the world! The owners are also the sweetest most hard working people I know! They truly pride themselves in their business and making sure to hire and retain quality workers and keep the space safe, sanitary and clean! I am so happy to see them making it through this pandemic because if they closed idk if I could bear going anywhere else! read more

I decided to try this new place from a recommendation from a friend. I only came in thinking it was just going to be like any other place before my trip to New York but I left thoroughly impressed. The staff was very inviting and friendly right from the beginning and the atmosphere was so put together and comfortable. The experience really was relaxing because I had a great conversation with the person doing my nails, it felt genuine. Not only that, my nails lasted a VERY LONG TIME. I am not at all too careful with my nails most of the time but these were the first set I've gotten that lasted me three weeks! I included a photo of what I mean, these were after 2.5 weeks! My daughter and I tried Bella Nora for pedicures and manicures (mine was a no-chip manicure). Loved their service, location, and environment! Everything was clean (I especially liked that the foot bath was covered with plastic liner that gets switched out after every customer). And it was quiet and restful (fun music and tvs that were on, but muted). I also really appreciated being able to make an appointment. Sounds silly, perhaps, but the owner of the previous salon I visited would tell callers they had an appointment, but then hang up the phone and not write anything down. This is actually was spurred me to try Bella Nora - and I will definitely be going back. read more

If I could give them 20 stars I would. We love this place, its amazing from the minute you walk in until you leave. We never want to leave. Seriously everyone is so wonderful and beyond talented. I fell like we should keep it a secret but they are too awesome to keep quiet. If anyone goes anywhere but here they are wasting their money. I am so impressed with Bella Nora!!!! I have been looking for a nail salon in Plainfield and this is it! Went for the first time today to get a pedicure and was blown away as soon as I walked in. The aesthetic is beautiful! Tiffany gave me a basic pedicure and it was OUTSTANDING! Her attention to detail is unparalleled and was always asking if I was doing okay or if I needed anything! She noticed I had dip on my nails and went out of her way to show me the 82 colors they just got in. Can't wait to go back to get a new set of dipped nails! I love this salon! I have tried others in the area and made the switch because my old salon kept cutting me and it was very painful every time I got my nails done. I have had two experiences at Bella Nora so far and they have been fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and do an amazing job. It is clean and I have not had any issues with being cut. It looked clean and modern. They played cooking shows on the TV screens, which I enjoy. I was seated at a pedicure chair right away and given a choice of colors for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did ask to ensure that they would not use the electric sander on my nails. I was quite pleased to find that they never use that for gel nails, a policy that I wish more salons would adopt. There were only two customers when I arrived, but people began to shuffle in during the time I was there. The pedicure was fine. I appreciate that they did not try to upsell me, but I do think it would have been nice to have more services such as a bit more of a massage or some more scrubs. It was quite basic and I wasn't offered other options. I was then moved to the manicure table after the pedicure was complete. Like the pedicure, it went by quite quickly. Not that it is necessary, but the staff really made no attempt to have a conversation at all. I'm OK with it, but they could have come across a little friendlier. No one was rude at all, but it just wasn't the warmest environment. As far as the manicure, I liked the color, but the gel dried unevenly with a few bumps here and there which annoyed me. Also it just wasn't quite the length or shape that I requested. All in all, I was glad that they were able to get me in and it was a decent service at a reasonable price. However, I do feel that the services were quite basic and it wasn't the best looking manicure that I've had.
