Immediately greeted and quickly checked in - wonderful for a first-time guest - even more excited to find out in-state residents receive half-price their first full bikini (their term for Brazilian). By 4:15, the time of my appointment, I was notified Melanie was running a couple of minutes behind - loved the prompt notification - and by 4:17 Melanie was out greeting me. Today, I needed a quick eyebrow touch-up before starting my new job this week, and Jasmine wasn't available until next week. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal. I just wanted a simple cleanup to remove stray hairs and feel put together. Unfortunately, I left feeling worse than when I walked in. Eyebrows make such a big difference in your overall appearance, and the best way I can describe it is that my brows were not shaped properly. The tail of my right brow looks almost completely gone, and there are still stray hairs that weren't cleaned up to define the shape. I'm honestly really disappointed. I still tipped, but ended up sitting in my car afterward crying out of frustration. I understand mistakes can happen, or certain specialists do things differently. So this is no shade to the specialist I saw, but the experience itself was disappointing. It just felt like a waste of money and time. The hairs I wanted cleaned up were still all there afterwards. And a whole part of my eyebrow is now missing. There wasn't any brushing or mapping done beforehand, and I was told I couldn't achieve the shape I wanted due to a lack of hair and that I would need a brow serum. I was also told my brows are too blonde to get the look I was going for... something I've never had an issue with before. At the end of the day, this means I now have to wait for my brows to regrow to fix the shape all over again, which is frustrating. Especially right before starting a new job. I'll be going back to Jasmine to get them back to how they were before, as she has always been able to achieve the look I want without issue. Hopefully, I can get them back on track soon.
