Went in for a pedicure. Nice atmosphere. Nice soft music playing but this was the shortest pedicure I have ever had! She didn't even do what other salons do. Felt as if it was rushed out for a $50 pedicure (gel)! Afterwards, I don't feel relaxed as I normally would. Quality of work needs improving. Ask if they did eyebrow waxing and they told me "they didn't have time". I went because of the other reviews on Yelp (visiting from another state). read more

This salon is clean, has nice decor, and the staff is friendly. However, I won't get a pedicure here again. I get pedicures mainly to remove calluses on my feet. Just don't. don't come here. I asked the lady to do a mickey head. pretty simple, right? Not for them! they messed my daughters nails up! My nails also chipped the next day. After that, when paying, the lady at the front added a 50% tip to the bill and did not tell me. Do she know that some of us have bills to pay? J & J is my favorite nail salon in Naperville! The staff is very nice and accommodating, the salon is extremely clean, and my nails last longer than they do from any other nail salon. Every time I venture out and try a new place, my nails end up chipping after a few days... but not at J & J. My normal pedicures usually last around 3 weeks from here! My mom has also smudged her nails a few times and they are always willing to touch her nails up quick before she leaves. I also appreciate how clean the salon is. For each customer, they use a sealed package of clean tools - no need to wonder if they've cleaned the tools since using them on the last person! My mom's favorite part about J & J is that they offer to give you a shoulder massage while your nails are drying. Personally, it's not my thing, but she loves it! A mani-pedi here is $50 which is a price I'm definitely willing to pay for the service. It's a small place and it can get pretty busy during the afternoons, so make sure to make an appointment before stopping in! read more

I found J&J Nails on the internet, since COVID-19 I had stop visiting nail salons, I called and made an appointment, and spoke with the owner Jeannie she was nice and kind. My first time was 7/24/22 and I was impressed. The nail technician that did my pedicure was Mia, she was nice, quiet but very good . Mai was gentle, but gave me a good pedicure, I have thick toenails and she made them look marvelous. I enjoyed my pedicure so much, I revisited/made an appointment 10/9/22 and got a pedicure & no chip manicure. I asked for Mai again and she did not disappoint. This is my new go to Nail Salon, it is nice ,clean, quite and the prices are reasonable. Everyone there was pleasant, it is a comfortable place to be at with good service. The staff take their time, do a beautiful job, and the manicures HOLD UP! 2-3 weeks of wear without a chip, and I am very hard on my nails. 3/9/19 - Update: Second Appointment- I went back to the nail spa today. I requested an appointment with the owner for this appointment. She did not disappoint. She has an eye for detail. I'm happy with my no-chip/gel manicure and pedicure. I'll be back in a couple of weeks for my next appointment. First appointment: I tried J & J nails for the first time this week. Overall I was pleased. They accidentally double booked an appointment but did their best to work around the situation. They have lots of OPI colors (both gel and matching regular polish) from which to choose. The only thing I would have preferred was a heavier hand for my pedicure. The young lady was a little too soft/gentle and did not get all of the dead skin, etc. read more

Fantastic service! As a breastfeeding mom with a 7 week old baby it's a little hard to pamper yourself especially when my spouse is working. However my baby was sleeping and I decided to wear her and treat myself to a pedicure. After they were done with my pedi she was still sleeping so I decided to get a gel manicure. Well of course she decided to wake up and was hungry. The nail tech kindly stopped and allowed me to breastfeed her, she did not rush me or act annoyed at all. After I fed my baby she was content for a few but started to cry after the tech started painting my nails. The tech still did not act annoyed and was trying to finish painting my nails without compromising quality. Then another gal, what I assume was the owner, came over and tried to entertain my baby while the tech was finishing. As I said fantastic service and my nails also look amazing! I was looking for a basic nail salon to get a no chip manicure and J & J Nails exceeded my expectations--it was quick to get in response on her to get an appointment and they had open availability. The salon itself was very cute and the service was excellent. Their prices were very reasonable (35 dollars for a no chip). However, if you want to tip, they only do cash tips and I wish I would've known that as I wanted to tip the woman who did my nails but I'll remember that next time. Went to this new nail salon by me for the very first time last night. Walked in and was immediately greeted with friendly service. The salon is clean and has some nice decor. Lots of color choices and name brands like OPI, Essie, and China Glaze. There are even some complimentary drinks! The services I received (mani & pedi) were amazing!! We've been a couple times now and can say that they are super detail oriented, really take their time scrubbing all the rough parts off, and include the salt scrub in the standard pedicure. I told her wanted coffin nail shape and she just looked at me with a blank look on her face. so I showed her 4 pictures and she said "I don't know but I try". If she didn't know how to do them she could of asked someone else to shape my nails. I was very happy with the job they did until for the FIRST time ever in my life, I ended up with not one, but TWO ingrown toe nails. Both on my big toes. This has resulted in discomfort and doctor appointments. I'm currently on antibiotics and soaking it twice a day, if it doesn't go away, I will need a procedure. Never coming back here. read more
