I definitely want to warn others, however, to please inform your manicurists whenever your nail beds feel like they are burning or if they are filing so close to your cuticles. Because their technique is dry, my manicurist filed with a drill and used scissors way too far into my cuticles that I was bleeding on my pointer and my third finger on both my hands afterwards. It did hurt, but to be polite I did not mention until after. She did my pedicure and my toes feel much better than my fingers do after I informed her. However, I have been diligent about applying ointment to my nails as all my nails on my hands have felt very raw and uncomfortable since and I have visible cuts on select fingers to treat. Although I will try again at some point since the resulting look was ideal, I would hesitate on this service for more sensitive hands. Just want to warn others from a health perspective to be aware against potential infection!
