I had the best pedicure ever!. BBnail spa but you do need to make a reservation. There is only one technician so she took me in with out a reservation. When I got to her place in Naverville downtown she told me she had 2 appointments ahead of me. I was in shock so she told me to wait and in the middle of her doing a manicure to her first appointment she took me and did a fast pedicure. Her 2 appointments came in I had to wait to get my manicure done bummer. It is very relaxing the music and the massage. She uses hot stones to give you the massage and what I have been looking for melted wax to smooth your heals and to soften your hands. I needed to get my nails removed, so decided to give this place a shot. I got my nails done in Asia with this none a chip and none crack nail polish. The ladies never even seen the type of nail polish I've used before and thought it was one of those fake nails. I had to tell her to be careful because it's my real nail. When she was removing my nail, she was doing it the traditional way... Which wasn't coming off... Then Bibi had to step in a use a machine to get the nail polish off. From this, you can tell the lack of experience they have with nails. When I asked if they have similar type of nail polish, I just get while bunch of excuses about how I don't really need nail polish that can last 4 weeks without any chip or damage or how my nail is strong there's no need for that or their no chip is similar and lasts 2 weeks..... They don't even have the latest kind that you dip in the power kind of nail polish. I need nail polish that is strong and does not chip or scratch or anything because: 1. I ain't got time to come back every other week to do my nail 2. I do a lot of house chores and wash dishes and everything else in between, I need it to last long and not chip! Bottom line, only have your nail done by BiBi and try their nail polish to see if it wears off easily on you or not. I may go back to try their no chip just cause I don't wanna go to Chicago to get the nail done. So if I do and they do a good job, I'll update my review then. read more

Sorry to downgrade my ranking, however, with an explanation, you will understand. First, I found out from a podiatrist, that nails should never be lifted off of the nailbed. I screamed my head off when BeBe would do this and she insisted it was necessary. (not) TRAUMA My biggest complaint is when I would book a month in advance and then the day before I would get a text asking me to change my time. Since I had booked a pedicure, I was consistently bumped for someone who booked a mani-pedi. I would come in to find them soaking and know I had been hoodwinked. Or, she would not try to reschedule and just let me show up to find someone else already there in my scheduled time. Fortunately, I usually would manage, but I felt sorry for the woman who arrived, expecting to have an appointment, only to be told to come back in about a half hour. That woman had work issues. Sooooooooooooo, after MANY years of pedicures, I have given up, I am waving the white flag. Besides, the new location on Rt. 59 is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far. read more

Bibi offers the best nail services in Naperville. She is so friendly and funny and has a genuinely kind personality. Her space is so relaxing and comfortable, the pedicure chairs are the best! She offers seasonal specials, i.e. For summer the lemon spa pedicure, which are so refreshing. She offers a great value and is priced right. I would recommend an appointment as it is a smaller space and is most of the time just her. She does exceptional work, I wouldn't trust anyone else! There are two things that I didn't like about this nail spa. #1, it was hard to find. I decided to try BB out because of the yelp reviews and I had time to kill in Naperville. The parking lot (on a Thurs) was packed and ridiculous. Luckily, there is a free parking garage right across the street. When I got to the shopping center I walked around the whole thing only to find out that it's in the office building along with many other small salons. After walking through a maze I finally found it. #2, the nail tech. I said hello do you take walk-ins? She looked at me like a deer in headlights. She was working on a customer getting a pedi who was also looking at me like I was a ghost. She immediately told me to go and make an appointment. Her tone was rude and I felt so embarrassed. I really didn't like that. She could've simply told me that it was appointment only, no instead she acting like I was attacking her with my one question. This place is super small too. Did a yelp search for a nail spa close by work so I can get a mani and pedi during my lunch break. Getting out at 6 and back to my area around 7... it's hard to make it into a nail spa before they close.. and they don't want you coming in last minute. So I found BB Nail Spa, saw the good reviews, and thought I'd give it a try. It was my first time seeing "salon suites" which was cool. BB was very nice and courteous. My nails came out lovely. I was able to make an appointment by texting her- very convenient. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it's a little bit pricier than what I'm used to, but that could be because Naperville is pricier all around, so her prices may be average for this area. This is where I go when I need to pamper myself. No other technician in Naperville has ever reached Bibi's level of perfection and care. I have been going to Bibi for years, because she was the first nail technician to take her time shaping my nails, painting them perfectly, softening my skin, smoothing my feet, and making me feel fantastic. I haven't even mentioned that she gives the best neck and shoulder massage, and lower leg and foot massage...all included in the price of the manicure and pedicure (and her prices are beyond fantastic for all of the special treatments that she gives. Love this place. She only does manicures and pedicures, no acrylic nails, which I love. The smell of the acrylic really bothers me. Make an appointment, just to be courteous. Park in the parking structure across the street, much easier. This is a little salon suite with two pedicure chairs and two manicure chairs so it is a much more intimate setting than your traditional nail salon. I've only been here once, but I loved it. It can get a little pricey, but I thought it was pretty fair compared to other salons. I had a pedicure and gel nails done with french tips, and it came out to about $75. I absolutely love the location. It's in a tiny suite, but it didn't feel cramped at all. If you want to just enjoy some alone time while getting pampered, this place is for you. The ambiance was perfect for me. You get a massage with your pedicure and some nice music in the background. Unlike other places, you don't have to put up with people constantly talking (or yelling) over each other. This is definitely my new favorite spot in Naperville. I made an appointment with ample time to plan for two people to each get a mani/pedi. When I showed up she said she didn't have enough time to do all services so we both received pedi's and one of us a manicure. It was very awkward for one of us to have to wait for the other. I was so disappointed because of all the great reviews. If you can't do something or it's too much then say so instead of having people depend on your services. It ruined my day and it was supposed to be a fun outing. I felt like it was overpriced for what she did especially because she rushed everything and I left very unhappy. Went there because of reviews and cute designs on website. I wanted an acrylic fill. The entire time she was pushing no chip and when I asked about one of the designs on her website she stated it couldn't be done because jewels can only be put on no chip. What a lie. I have had my nails done for 20+ years and have had jewels many times. Of course, in all her no chip talk she didn't say it results in more money for her. I really dislike it when nail technicians push services, it makes the entire experience unpleasant. I showed her the length I wanted which she did originally, then while shaping she grabbed the clipper and cut my nail so short. Once one is cut, they all have to be cut. Yikes!! Clearly this appointment was about what she wants not what I wanted. Her price is double what I normally pay around the corner, $36.00 for a fill. Finally, the true judge of how good a technician is how well your nails hold up. My thumb has a huge chip in it where the acrylic just cracked off after one week. That never happens to me.
