I decided to give Queen Nails a second chance as I thought it wasn't fair to rate only as a walk in. Today I called to make an appt and was greeted and told there was availability. I took the appointment and was greeted when I walked in , very friendly . I had the pleasure of working with Maria today and she was absolutely amazing. I felt like at home with her. She made the experience so much better for me. She took her time and we had a nice conversation as well. I will be returning to work with Maria for sure! We even planned my next set already. Looking forward to it. Thank you, Queen nails for allowing me to come back for a second chance at this. read more

Love Queen Nails!! I get acrylics! I'm on my 4th fill. Blue is the most recent! The staff are so nice and treat me very well. The first time I went I was so nervous because I'm a nail biter and didn't want to be judged. Vivian is my go-to and she is phenomenal. My nails are now just as long as the acrylic. read more

Horrible experience, don't waste your time and money. Went for a full set, applied by Vivian. Nails were bulky, uneven, and rough. Looked like the work of a 5yr old. Informed Amy, of my dissatisfaction. Amy stated, someone else could do my nails, which i didn't want. Amy stated, I could receive a full refund, and come back tomorrow. When returning the next day. Amy stated, I couldn't get a refund, and someone else could do my nails. Which was not the agreement, over the phone. Save yourself from, aggravation, disappointment, and time. Waste of money.. How this salon ever got bad customer service reviews is beyond me. I called on a Saturday morning, they booked my appt for that same day. Walking in, my husband and I were BOTH referred to by our names the entire time we were there! They were so kind, personable and my husband said "I've never felt so comfortable in a nail salon". Amy knew I wanted dip, called me to her table and explained something to me called "Gel X". I truly could NOT be happier with the nail services I received. The gel x manicure I had with Jessie was delightful, strong, yet feels so natural and light. Our deluxe pedicures were soothing, had a great massage, and they trimmed, filed, and buffed our nails beautifully. Each individual in the salon was SO kind and nice. I feel like I've been going to this salon for years and it was our first time!! Will be back for sure!!!! read more

I absolutely love my nails every time I go to Queen Nails! My past experience at other salons was always disappointing when I would bring in an inspo photo be cause my nails would rarely turn out like the picture, but that is not my experience at Queen Nails! Lin is so talented and creative, she always adds a special touch. And if I bring in an inspo photo my nails turn out like the photo or even better! For Halloween I loved my first set of spider web nails that I had Lin do them again. I highly recommend this nail salon if you want a good experience and excellent looking nails. 10/10. read more

I am a huge fan of Queen Nails! The décor in the salon is very modern. They keep the salon very clean. They also use sterilized tools each time you get a service done. The first time I went, Amy, I believe she is the manager, asked for my name, offered me a drink, and introduced me to my nail tech. My nail technician was Jennifer, she was fabulous. She took her time on every nail and she took pride in her work. When I went back again, Jennifer was busy, but another tech did my pedicure. Once again, my nail tech was in no rush and took his time, and I was very happy with the results. I brought a friend with the second time, and she loved it too! I have an appointment for next week and plan to become a regular customer. I love the personalized service and professionalism that every employee I have encountered has shown so far. read more

Came here twice since it was convenient. Both times they were able to take me within 15 minutes. Both times I had same nail tech doing my pedicure , and on my second visit that same person did my manicure. Both times the nail tech was rushing throughout the whole thing. I asked her why she didn't soak my nails in a water bowl like nail salons usually do , she said it was because she used cuticle softener. That didn't really work that great because she managed to nick me three times. She didn't push my cuticles back and had to keep cutting my cuticles the entire time she was applying polish. At the end of it all she applied cuticle oil to my entire hand (no lotion) and I had to wash my hands off before leaving since they were so oily. Toe nails are cut really uneven. Overall not a very relaxing experience. I gave four stars because the other nail tech I had last time was good and took his time. He was really nice. They have a lot of color options. I'll make sure to request a specific nail tech next time. read more

Update: a few days after my review, my right thumb started to aggressively itch and tingle awkwardly. Due to a crazy work schedule, I was unable to go to the doctor, but I started soaking my swollen and irritated thumb. Finally went to the doctor and discovered it's a nail infection that I got from their manicure. So an antibiotic scrip and $35 later, I'm still reeling from the effects of that mani. Now I definitely will not go back. And I plan on letting them know ASAP. read more

Another review because another great job by Linn! She understands my nails which are different & tend to grow downwards. I've been getting my nails for 17 years & have gone to at least 100 salons. Which is why I now don't go anywhere else & have been coming here for 7 years now loyally & won't go anywhere else.. ever!!! read more

Rude customer service. I tried to call in for question lady kept giving me a attitude not professional

If I could give NO STARS I WOULD! I was on time but I had an important phone call to make so I was outside on my phone and then came in as soon as my call was over. I didn't have a second to call them and let know because everything happened so fast. My appointment was at 4. At 4:06 they're texting me telling me that I'm late! Are you kidding me?! And this was my 1st time even being a few minutes late! Life is life! Damn cut people some slack! If feels more like boot camp than a nail salon where you're supposed to go and pamper yourself and relax! Then when I walk in the manager Amy was all loud in front of everybody trying to bust me out about being a few minutes late! Who does that?! Not to mention most places give you a few minutes grace period. It's not our fault as a consumer if they are short handed or have money issues or whatever is going on with them! Sometimes things happen in life that we have no control of. However, you don't treat people poorly because of it. How rude and unprofessional to outright embarrass PAYING CUSTOMERS! So they missed out on money for being stupid with a customer for being a few minutes late! Not to mention I was starting to go there regularly and bringing my daughter and I was never late! And I do not have to explain myself to any of them! How dare you! I have friends that have gone there too and have said the same thing about their unprofessional and rude behavior. That is sooo unprofessional! And as I'm reading the responses from the owner and she's just as unprofessional and rude! Wow! If you have multiple customers saying the same thing about you then maybe there's something wrong with YOU! Maybe you need to take heed and listen to what others are saying instead of giving some snappy rude come back! There's no need for the disrespect and embarrassment that I received for being a few minutes late! If Amy wanted to say something to me she could've said it to me personally instead of in front of the entire shop! There's absolutely NO EXCUSE for that behavior! But I'm sure the owner will try to come back with some smart ass comment to justify Amy's rude behavior! There is NO JUSTIFICATION for that! I have gone to many other places and have never been treated so poorly over being a few minutes late. It's insane behavior. It's not normal. Apparently they don't like money! I know people that have been going there for years who are considering not going there anymore due to their behavior and lack of respect for their paying customers. They're a joke! They must feel that they are the only nail salon around and consumers have to deal with them. I've NEVER experienced anything like that before in my life! So rude and unprofessional! So I was only a few minutes late walking in and I was going to get a mani/pedi and I walked out! Now you're not getting ANY of my money at all! Then some other lady on the side is yelling " you need to sign in in order to see your name"! Huh?? I know how to sign in! I didn't need anyone's help to sign me in! These people are rude, embarrassing and unprofessional! Do not waste your time with them. Patronize people who actually have sense! Because these people lack it! The only thing they're doing is pushing customers away! How business minded is that!? They're loosing out on money for being idiots and I will not recommend ANYONE to Queen Nails and I'll tell EVERYONE how rude and unprofessional they are and to NOT go there!!!! You can do better! Spend your money on a business who appreciates you!! I will not give my money to people who do not respect me! Now they've lost two customers for me and my daughter AND whomever else I tell NOT to go there! Damn fools!!! I'm also reading reviews from people going back 6 months who are saying the same things that I'm saying today! So OBVIOUSLY the issues were never addressed like the "owner" CLAIMS that they were because here I am 6 months later saying the exact same thing! U should be ashamed of yourselves! These people are ignorant! read more

Yes, you found it! This is your new regular spot for your mani and pedi! Unfortunately for me, I can only enjoy the services at this establishment when I visit and I am not a resident of Aurora. Let me tell you why you need to give this place a try! First, the ambiance! It is so feminine, classy, chic and clean! Sorry, I could not just pick one or two descriptions for it! The crystal like chandeliers, the pillars, the massage chairs, everything about the environment was done right. Simply walking in the door makes you feel like you are about to be treated like royalty, which you will be. They even offer drink services-- WINNING! second, the customer service was top notch. We were immediately greeted, asked to sign in and pick a nail color. We sat in the waiting area for no more than 5 minutes prior to being asked to go to a massage chair in the back for a pedicure. The staff were not entirely engaging during the pedicure, but that's fine. Third, the quality of the service rendered. My nail tech was very thorough in the services she provided. She did not miss cleaning one part of my toe nail, ensured my cuticles were intact, massaged my legs and feet and my nail polish was flawless! After completing my pedicure she did my manicure at a table in the front part of the shop. She was a lot more engaging once we were at the manicure table. She even educated me on proper nail care. I honestly look forward to my next visit to the area and will make sure this place is on the "ourtinerary". A little advice, this place has a steady flow of customers. The staff does recommend making an appointment to ensure that you are not waiting for extended periods of time!!! If you decided to check them out- I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did! read more

I was in the area and went in for a regular manicure. It was very expensive (double anywhere else I've ever been) BUT I will say it was one of the best manicure I have had in a very long time when it came to cuticle cutting. After moving to the neighborhood, this was my second nail salon trying. So happy to say I have finally found my go to spot for nails! I absolutely loved my time at Queen Nails. I came in for a no chip manicure and pedicure and everything was just fabulous. They were busy when I stopped in, but even then I only had to wait 5 minutes. Love that there are TVs all around and that the pedicure chairs have massagers. The managers Amy and Lynn are awesome! They remember everyone's names, are so personable and pretty hilarious. Loved chatting with them and the other ladies in the salon. It was so nice that I was offered something to drink and Amy made sure I was satisfied with my services. She gave me a punch card and explained how their rewards program worked. When all was said and done my no chip and pedicure looked fantastic! I will definitely be back to Queen :) read more

Disappointed to say the least, went in for a dip with tip about a week ago. Was charged 70 with 5$ tip. They were initially charging me 85 because I asked that 2 nails on each hand have a marble design. If you're part of the earlier generation. I would go elsewhere. This salon is not in tune with its pricing. If you want to go somewhere that's going to give you a great price and leave your nails looking amazing and last about 3 weeks go to jazza nails. Asked for basic pedicure, $35...ok, everything has gone up in price. Midway through nail tech asks if I want the callouses on my feet removed. I said yes, then I thought she said, it's $1 extra. I was a little aggravated at the sneaky upcharge but agreed. When I checked out, it was $6 more! for callouses??! If they don't smooth your feet isn't it just a polish change with a foot bath? and my feet were not bad. So it was $41 before tip for a basic pedicure. Plus she cut my toenails way too short without asking what length I prefer. I won't be back. read more

My daughter came here on January 9, 2022 and a male technician did her nails. It took three hours from start to finish. Granted they were very busy and she was a walk in, but the nail technician put too much beads on her nails which caused the gel dip to drip all over her hands. Therefore he had to do the whole set all over again. And now this is the result just four days later. See the picture. A horrible job. Nice technician but he did a horrible job. We came in there on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 just two days after the service and was told if we want a whole new set we would have to pay for that. The lady also told us that the same nail technician needs to correct his own work. My daughter was so through and she did not want to have him do her nails and so we just left and we are going to another salon and will never come back to this salon again. Nor do we recommend it to anyone! This shop doesn't even deserve one star it deserves zero stars for this type of service. read more

I'll give it another try. Their prices are more than a salon down the road and tech did not attend to any of the dead skin around the feet. To attend to this they charged an extra $6. That would have made there price $10 more than other nail salons in the area. No attention to the debris under the nails after filing down the nails. read more

Very rude person who is in the front and dealing with customer service. She acted like she had an attitude the whole time and was so rude. I came in to get one nail fixed which I had done in Florida on vacation. Immediately she started saying things that made me feel like she didn't want to fix the nail. She kept telling me it's going to be $10, do you have cash. I asked her to match it as well as possible and she tells me go pick a color. Every color I asked she said nope won't match nope won't match. So I said what do you suggest and she said I can't match it at all maybe 50%. I would never go here to get my nails done. I have been coming to this place for about 7-8 years. Every time I needed my nails done though middle school to college, I would come here. I have spent thousands of dollars here, and overall really enjoyed getting my nails done here. However in the past 2 years they have gotten extremely cheep. The reason I am never coming back here is because of my last experience. I went in Wednesday when they first opened, hardly anyone was in the place. For some reason my nail lady was in a rush to get me out the door. From the time she started my nails, to when she was done was less than 15 minutes. She did them so fast and poorly. She also was super rude. I got this no chip less than a week ago and it's already chipping and peeling off my nails. read more

I agree, Amy can be very rude. I have arthritic hands. After my manicure the nail tech was being kind and wrapped my hands in a warm towel. It felt great and I was appreciative. I have wanted to like this place, but I cannot handle how rude the owners, Amy and Lin are. Lin is by far more rude and dismissive than Amy, but neither knows how to treat customers properly. I have been in this salon many times because it is convenient for me, however I can no longer continue to subject myself to the treatment of these two owners. They both do a great job with nails, but they treat their clients terribly. They have mistreated me, and they I have watched them mistreat so many of their loyal customers. They are all about making money, and they are not invested in customer service. There is a very high turnover of nail techs, which tells me they are unkind to their employees, too. With some many other nail salons in the area, I would highly recommend choosing another one. Edited after review from "owner" (Amy) - I HIGHLY encourage anyone considering this salon to go through these reviews and read the many more that are just like mine. Amy and Lin may not be the "owners', but as I have heard them say, they are sisters who are running the family business. Do not take my word for it. Walk into the salon and see for yourself how many people they are rude to in such a short amount of time. Lin is sarcastic and will only say hello if you are one of her recent clients. They overcharge and mistreat their clients. PLEASE scroll down and read all the reviews that say the exact same thing. There are many other salons on the same street that will treat you with kindness. Choose somewhere else. read more
