I stumbled upon Nail Care of Naperville when I happened to be driving through the area and decided to stop in. I was with my mom and sister so we decided to get manicures and pedicures. It was crowded when we walked in so we had to wait about 15 minutes to be serviced. We picked our colors and then waited at the pedicures stations for the employees to come to us. I didn't get any of their names, but two gentlemen and one young lady served us. The employees were friendly, but not overly talkative which was fine. They all did a really nice job on our nails. The location is nicely decorated and clean. You could tell that they take cleanliness seriously as they took the proper precautions when it came to the pedicure areas and nail instruments. Most of the employees weren't wearing masks though. It costs about $45 for a basic manicure and pedicure which is very reasonable. We were in and out in about an hour. I had a mani/pedi, my sister had a pedicure/eye brow wax and my mom had a pedicure. The total bill cost about $120 minus the tip. I think we tipped each employee $10. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and would most definitely return. read more

I've been coming here over a year now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is great (and they take care of it if something goes wrong: yes, I have bumped my hands in the back of the UV trays before...sorry, long fingers!) I now get the no-chip polish on my fingers and there is a large selection of colors and varieties (matte, lustre, sparkle). They've also opened the range of regular polish cabinets so the one that used to say "For Display Only!!" is now usable polishes. A couple of things: - You get a "check" on the iPad every time you go, which equates to a discount after a certain number of times. Pay attention, because last time I paid, and then they came to me later with the iPad, then said, "Oh, you had $10 off today!" It would be helpful to do them at the same time...So next time I have to remember and mention it before I pay (they did leave it on as a credit). - Not a big deal, but I've never been to a place where (even as a walk-in) you might have two people doing your service (i.e. one doing a manicure and one doing a pedicure). It can get confusing for tipping. - They no longer do the discount for paying in cash. Overall, though, I love this place. Greetings, Unfortunately I'm a new customer. I have been at this location three times. The first time, 1. I got a no chip overlay and a pedicure. The polish was thick and sloppy. The pedicure was done messy, the lady who did my pedicure did a horrible job, I had to come back up there, and let Sammy go over my feet. The no chip polish was half-way painted messy by SAMMY, the OWNER. The second time I came back, I was trying to give Sammy a second chance, I do understand that people have their bad days/moments. Sammy always makes mistakes on my nails. What's frustrating for me is that Sammy never takes responsibility/accountability for messy actions. 2.The second time I came in for a new no chip color, Sammy had done ANOTHER messy job, and she (Sammy) rushes with me every time she does my nails, she doesn't listen to me, nor does she care about what I want. Whenever I tell her how I want my nails, she purposely ignores me. 3. I had a follow-up appointment today at 2:30 pm. regarding Sammy SLOPPY MESSY JOB AGAIN from my prior appointment yesterday, 08/27/23. Sammy does a horrible job on my nails each time doing ALL THREE VISITS. I had enough of coming back to Sammy for her to correct her constant messy mistakes. I complained to SAMMY TODAY, I told her that she applied the polish too many times, where the polish was super thick and clumpy on my nails. I expressed this to her numerous times. They have individual rooms to accommodate group, which I look forward to taking advantage of! You can pay with cash or credit card. They also keep track of your visits in their computer. So no need to carry a punch card in your purse! They also have a referral program, which I think is 10% off your visit if you refer a friend. Not much to say about decor, since the chairs for clients are too high for the tables ...your knees can't fit, at least mine didn't. They must have gotten a deal in the chairs... But that aside, I got my appointment on same day, I showed up early and they took me right away. I was apprehensive about removing my dip manicure. Harry did very little with the electric file, so I felt my nails were in good hands. The quality of work at my previous place started to deteriorate week to week... piled on too much powder, never listened to my concerns... polish building up around my cuticles, lumpy spots and after one week the dip would crack. I have been going to this shop exclusively for the past six months or so and have always gone to the same technician. I would not characterize the work or appearance of the shop as the best I've ever experienced. However, it is conveniently located. Unfortunately, I will no longer patronize this business after my experience there over the weekend. Long story short, the nail technician, who always does my manicures etc., made unsolicited and wildly inappropriate comments about my physical appearance upon learning that I was going to be celebrating a major life event in the near future. The technician "begged" me to do "one thing for me, you need to lose weight and get a little smaller" so that I "looked nice" for the event. In total shock, I let the technician know that I found the comments to be hurtful and tried to change the subject to focus on what I'd come into the shop to have done that day. The technician persisted, going on and on about how I needed to "diet" and "lose weight". Not sure what else to do, I decided to just focus on returning texts and emails while the technician busied themselves prepping for the pedicure. Upon their return, the technician continued to talk about how I needed to slim down. Noticing my silence as I checked my emails, the technician asked what was wrong. I voiced that the comments were inappropriate and out of line. The technician said "oh I hurt your feelings", completely ceased doing the pedicure, and continued telling me about dieting and losing weight to look good and repeatedly touched me the entire time. I repeatedly asked the technician to stop touching me and to drop the subject and to please just finish the work that I came to get done. The technician continued to touch me - grabbing my arm, trying to hug me, etc. -and push the issue anyway. Finally I asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized and explained that there were cultural issues at play. Apparently, according to the manager, the comments made by the technician are interpreted differently in Vietnamese culture than "American culture" (her words). She said that the technician "views you as like a sister" and that, as a result, it would be acceptable to speak to me that way (and repeatedly touch me too, I guess?). I said that I could respect that there might be cultural issues at play and was still uncomfortable with being repeatedly touched and hassled about an issue that I wanted to drop. The manager accommodated my request to have another technician complete the job for me. I think that the most disturbing part for me was the relentless insistence on continuing to talk about my appearance and touch me when I'd repeatedly asked that both behaviors stop. Cultural issues aside, the behavior was completely inappropriate for the workplace and, more importantly, when a customer (or anyone really) asks you to stop touching them and pushing an issue deemed offensive, then just stop. At the end of the day, it was a good teachable moment. However, the damage has been done at this point. I've intentionally left out the name/gender of the technician because I wish no ill will. I personally just will not patronize this business and am sharing my experience so that others can be informed as they make the decision whether or not to do so. read more

I have patronized this nail salon the entire summer and initially, I was very pleased. However, the last 3 visits have been less than mediocre. I removed my gel to get a basic manicure and Cindy seemed to be annoyed that I made that decision instead of a gel fill. Ok, no big deal. The next visit, I get a pedicure and cut by Vicky, my luxury pedicure was not even close to luxury. Finally, this past visit I got gel overlay with no chip manicure and it was rushed and there are nail edges not polished. This place is a hidden gem! The first time I walked in I was definitely a little leary. It looked like an old restaurant that they converted but after being there a few times, the layout makes sense. Their prices are comparable: $15 for a manicure $25 starting for a pedicure or $40 for both. I also think the quality is comparable to other places as well. What I like most about Nails 4 U is the opportunity for mani/pedi's with a group or couples. There are multiple rooms for 2, 8 or 10 (I think) so you have your own private space. My bf and I came for a pedi and were in a private room in the back, it was great. We both were able to get them done at the same time and not have to hear anyone on their phones. I inquired about coming in with large groups and they are able to accommodate anything. I'm in a bridal party and we are considering coming here for mani/pedi's and they will be able to take all of us. We can bring in champagne and snacks, even our own music. They do have a loyalty program which gives your 11th service free, but I would like to see more deals. Perhaps weekday specials or group discounts? They take cash AND credit card but give a 5% discount for cash. read more

My girlfriend and I went here for a basic pedicure and were extremely impressed. The price was comparable ($25) but the atmosphere is what really makes the place. They separate the manicure and pedicure parts of the salon. On top of it, there are smaller rooms where you can have parties or private couples area. We got our pedicure in a private room. I went in to soak off my gels yesterday and I know she was probably disappointed but I just wanted to go back to my natural nails. So we went here and their brochure was kind of confusing so my friend and I asked "for this option, this is what we get?" and the man said "yes." We thought we were getting a mani-pedi deal. So when we went in for the pedicure, the technician asked "which pedicure do you want" and we said "whichever comes with this deal" and re-confirmed what we were getting. So we go through the whole service and when we were checking out, the price was $20 higher than what was in the brochure. We explained that we had asked twice if the deal we asked about was what was in the brochure and were told it was by TWO staff. The person checking us out wouldn't change the price. I feel like we were liked to about the price. It's a Shane because the pedicure was really nice and I would have liked to go back. The manicure was OK. Alas, if you come here, make sure you know what you're paying for and don't get lied to about the price. Would recommend the pedicure. read more
