EXCELLENT EYEBROW THREADING & EXCELLENT COVID19 SANITARY PROCEDURES…read more I was looking for a good eyebrow threading salon. I read many positive reviews about eyebrow threading at Pari Beauty Salon, so I got an appointment. I wasn't sure what to expect since this is during the COVID19 time, but both the eyebrow threading & sanitary procedures were excellent. COVID19 SANITARY PRECAUTIONS: EXCELLENT Only 1 customer at a time is allowed in -- others are required to remain outside or in their vehicle. When you enter, a face mask is required (Illinois mandate). Then you are required to use hand sanitizer on your hands, take a pen from the "clean" holder & write down your name & info, returning the used pen to a "used" holder. Pooja then does a temperature scan and your temperature is recorded next to your name. Pooja is wearing a mask the whole time. EYE BROW THREADING & SHAPING: EXCELLENT Pooja has figured out a way to do eyebrow threading while wearing a mask. Now I wasn't sure how this might work out -- you might suspect that modifying a technique could produce substandard results but this is not the case. Pooja has managed to maintain high quality threading & shaping even while wearing a mask! That is outstanding. I have been having eyebrow threading done for the past 15 years or so in several states. Pooja is the top eyebrow threader I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Pooja and Pari Beauty Salon for eyebrow threading and will return again in the future. Thank you, Pooja! Dr. Karen G.

She listened to what I was looking for, she discussed the pros and cons of the pictures I had saved as ideas, and every step of the way she had me take a look to make sure I was happy with the result or if I wanted to modify anything. Even though it was my first time meeting her, it felt like I was hanging out and chatting with a girlfriend who I had known for years (minus lots of wine). Plus she plays great music the whole time so there is never any awkward silence, We were both super happy with how the makeup turned out. Eyelashes and air brush were on point!! I'm so happy that she takes notes the entire time detailing what colors and products were used, so that we can replicate the look on wedding day. I'm so glad I found someone who I can trust to make me look my best for the most important day of my life. I can't wait to try some other services with Jeanna, but in the meantime I highly recommend her makeup application services! Thanks so much!

Sugaring NYC offers an organic solution to wax, sugar, water and lemon so there's no irritation or allergic reactions. I think it's a lot less painful than traditional waxing as well. The store is super pink, very clean, & everyone is super nice. I highly recommend their services and I think it's worth the price - the hair removal lasts 3-5 weeks and my hair has been coming in less thick and I've been told each time I go back it's getting sparser. -- I've been back here at least 5x and have established a great relationship with the sugarista, Jordyn. I highly recommend booking with her. She is so sweet and really good at what she does that the wax is essentially painless.

It was crowded when we walked in so we had to wait about 15 minutes to be serviced. We picked our colors and then waited at the pedicures stations for the employees to come to us. I didn't get any of their names, but two gentlemen and one young lady served us. The employees were friendly, but not overly talkative which was fine. They all did a really nice job on our nails. The location is nicely decorated and clean. You could tell that they take cleanliness seriously as they took the proper precautions when it came to the pedicure areas and nail instruments. Most of the employees weren't wearing masks though. It costs about $45 for a basic manicure and pedicure which is very reasonable. We were in and out in about an hour. I had a mani/pedi, my sister had a pedicure/eye brow wax and my mom had a pedicure. The total bill cost about $120 minus the tip. I think we tipped each employee $10.
