I called in on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30 PM and they had availability at 4 PM. I got a gel manicure with Jessica. It was pretty quick but the polish was on the thin side, though the price was good. But about 2 weeks after, the polish grew out with a slightly lifted edge where the growth was that kept getting caught in my hair and chipping the polish. Not thrilled how thin the polish was and how it chipped. Also I tore some nails. I went to another salon to get them fixed. read more

I've been coming here since they first opened - they always do a great job with my manis and pedis. Today, I got an acrylic French tip and I really liked the way they turned out (by Karen). Their prices are very reasonable compared to other nail places. They have a large parking lot - never an issue parking. They're located across the street from the Rio Hondo Starbucks. They take credit, debit, cash and Zelle. read more

I really wanted to like this nail salon. I've gotten my pedicures here before and really liked it. But this was a couple of years ago. I came in for a pedicure and upon removal. The lady cut my skin a couple of times with the drill. I wasn't bleeding so I let it go. However a couple of hours later, I noticed that the paint on my fresh gel pedi started cracking... and now looking more closely, the paint is a little thick to my liking. Also I noticed on my other foot there's like debris stuck inside the paint. I wouldn't recommend and won't be back. read more

I don't get my hairs done often and usually just do it for special occasions. I came in to try out the gel X extensions and I'm hooked! I have short nail beds so my fingers looks short and stubby but these extensions elongate my fingers. It was $60 for the gel X and $25 for a regular pedi. I love the color #166 heaven sent and will now be my go to shade. Price is reasonable and love that it's easy to make an appointment. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. Will be back on my next event! read more

Worst manicure ever. I was supposed to get the deluxe combo (deluxe mani + deluxe pedi $55), but I stopped it about 1/4 way into the service. Problems: the manicurist was super rough. She didn't follow directions to NOT cut the cuticles along the nail bed (because I'm prone to bleeding). Then, she took the metal cuticle pushback stick ... and started to plow down. She was rough. The whole time I was worried about bleeding. The price listing never stated exactly what the deluxe manicure service included. I only saw oil treatment listed as the extra. I was surprised when the manicurist started to slap the sugar scrub on my hands. She used a metal stick and (again) she was rough. I was wondering if she thought I was a dead animal who was getting marinated, & she didn't need to be gentle. I complained about the smell of the rose scented sugar scrub. Most salons will ask you which scent you would prefer. She didn't put enough for there to massage. While she moved her gloved hands along my arms... I felt dry, irritating rubbing on my hands & arms. Again, I told her that I didn't like the smell. She grabbed a hot towel that smelled like glue to rub it off. It was awful. I asked to go to the sink to wash it all off. By the time I was done washing myself in the sink, I really wanted to leave. I asked how much they wanted for only the service I had received so far.. They still had the nerve to charge $20 when the hot oil treatment was not completed yet. (A regular mani is $15. I wouldn't been ok with that.) After arguing that I didn't receive the complete service, I was tired of debating why I shouldn't be charged $20 for a manicure that wasn't fully completed at that point. I just took out a $20 bill... had her put on the base coat & 1 coat of color. I left. So in summation, I was overcharged for an awful experience. Buyer beware! Update (day after): Fingers sore around cuticle area. Bleeding found. read more

The best place for pedicures. They're a little pricey but worth it. My daughter also had a 3D gel x set done and they are amazing. Each nail has detailed 3D art. It's been 3 weeks and they're still on. The vibe is nice and the staff is courteous. The owner & her husband are amazing. read more

I'm glad I gave this salon a chance ! Since the moment I walked in everyone was welcoming , I brought my little niece, I got my pedicure done by Kelly even though she was so rough and made me bleed I feel like she really did clean my nails very well I appreciate that lol she took her time , I only went for a pedicure , but than decided to get my nails done as well , I didn't get his name but it's the only man in the salon and wow am I impressed, he took his time , paid attention to details , I found my new go to salon !! I highly recommend ! I will show a picture of what I wanted and what I got ! Also , I appreciate all the employees are quiet and not talking , I hate nail salons that are so loud and running around , I want to relax so I appreciate everyone being respectful and quiet. Along the way home, my husband suggested I get my nails done, now that they have reopened and that it's been a while since I've had a chance to get them painted. We had nothing in particular we needed to do, so I took him up on that offer. As we were driving around, he notices the grand opening sign and we call to see what the deals were. Their prices were fair so we turned around and made our way inside. The interior was well done, very high end feel with glass dividers in place for covid safety guidelines. Everything was nice and sparkly. Music in the air, and the place smelled nice! They were very nice and even though they were kind of pushy on upgrading me to gel, they let it go after I declined them four times. What I appreciated most of all was the fact that the bill came out correctly. My experience at nail shops have always been a dice roll at the register! People have quoted me a price up front only to have them up charge me at the end for God knows what! Currently cash only, but they are accepting some forms of digital payments such as zelle. read more

Clean, modern salon. I came here for a remove and gel nail color only. The young girl who helped me was very patient compared to a lot of people, but she was VERY aggressive with the nail file even though I only asked her to file "a little bit." She cut my skin to the point that I bled. Very unfortunate since I was taking engagement photos the next day and the cut was so big and red and on my wedding ring hand. :( I hope I don't get an infection... Customer service was ok. I tried to make friendly interaction with some of the staff, but they did not engage. Not a very warm atmosphere. I felt like they wanted me to leave even though there was still 30 mins until closing towards the end. I was also quoted $18 to remove gel and apply gel color, but then another person corrected her in Vietnamese and said $20. According to the posted pricing list, it should be $18. That made me wonder if they gave me an upcharge. They only accepted cash. I will likely not come back and would not recommend this salon to others. The good thing is that they open later than a lot of the other salons in the area. COVID info: Staff donned masks most of the time while I was there. There was one staff member that had it off for a short amount of time. read more

The first time I came here, Karen did my pink to white ombré acrylic nails. She was very quick and experienced and I loved the outcome. My nails looked like strawberry and cream candy corn! The second time around, I had gel extensions done by Kevin. I've never had gel x nails before so I decided to finally give it a try. He was very careful and oriented to detail and took his time to correct any mistakes. I chose my color/design and honestly, I was doubtful it would come out the way I imagined. But it came out way better than I thought!!! These nails are so light and thin and they are soooooo cute!!! I LOVE THEM Additionally, I love how the nail salon is literally 10 mins away from home. So far it's been easy to book an appointment. No issues with their parking lot yet but it does get a bit tight around noon. Also, there's a Starbucks across the street so that's always nice. Treat cho self to nails and Starbucks type of deal! read more

First and last time. I went in for a dip and pedicure. Look at attached pictures. After 3 days started chipping. I will take my business elsewhere. Update: clearly you can see the way this owner/manager replied to my message in a very unprofessional way. I have attached a photo from Zelle account when I tipped both employees who worked on my mani and pedi. Maybe that's why they don't take credit card payments and only cash. If you don't have nail dip experience, don't use this technique at your salon. This review is not misleading or fake, this is the way your technician did my nails leaving that gap, due to not having the experience to doing dips. Also side note: you shouldn't be using the jar and dipping everyone's finger into the same jar the powder comes in. read more

I have been coming here consistently since Nail Spa @ Valley opened--their staff's customer service, cleanliness of tools and facilities, and selection of colors is great. There are 6 spa chairs and 4 table spaces, but I've never had to wait as a walk-in. I always request Tracy as my nail technician because she is so gentle, yet precise when it comes to cutting my cuticles and always files my nails into the shape I prefer correctly. She does a beautiful french manicure and always checks in to see whether or not the shape and width of the white tip is to your liking. I have to start by saying that the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The first time I came I had ingrown nails on both my big toes and Karen took care of it without hurting me and I felt so good afterwards. The second time I came, everything was a bit rushed. Granted, they were very busy. They had just finished polishing my toes and then i was rushed off the chair to accommodate another guests. As a result, my toe polish messed up on my way to the car. The top toe polish looks overlapped with an unfinished coat. My nails were lumpy but that is my fault because I asked for three coats. Since my nails are long three coats can cause that so ladies I recommend if you have long nails only get two coats to avoid lumps Overall, great staff, polite. They even reached out offering to fix the toe polish but I don't have time to go back. Super sweet and professional for wanting to fix the problem. I would go back because they obviously care enough to reach out to fix the problem. Just be sure to tell them to fix it and I'm confident they will do it. But I still wouldn't recommend it if your looking for precision and relaxed experience. It's more, on the go and in and out when they are busy. read more

I have been here before and they were very nice and accommodating, no complaints. However this time around, everything felt rushed. I went in yesterday with a friend and we were both pretty excited because we really wanted to get pedicures after a busy month. I called the day before to reserve and we were promptly seated once we checked in and everything seemed fine, until we both started wearing shoes and found that we were both cut pretty bad! My toe has not stopped being red since I got home yesterday and is throbbing constantly. Same thing with my friend who's big toe was cut up pretty bad. Her nail polish is already chipped as well! We hope this doesn't happen again, or at least we could have been told they had accidentally cut us at the time.... I believe the recent reviews of them being too rushed and not as detailed in their work. It seems like they just try to get on as fast as they can to accept the next customer. read more

Very friendly staff but reason for 3 stars is because they are not really up to date with the latest trends. I asked before getting a color change if they were able to create a look of a pic I had shown n if they had the color which was very simple Jelly Black. Of course they said yes but put plain black gel polish! I told them no I didn't want that and they found something similar but wasn't exactly it. I was like whatever at that point they had already removed my pre gel so I was over it. There are techniques to create what I wanted n they didn't have it. Only reason I went was because my nail girl was unavailable n I needed for a costume party. For basic needs I will go back. read more

Lien's customer service was nice in the beginning, but her technique & skills were absolutely HORRIFIC!!! SHE CUT me 5 times, NEVER APOLOGIZED, plus SHE NEVER cleaned my nails after her job as well! SHE even told me that SHE was going to do my pedicure & wax as well & SHE NEVER DID!!! SHE had her workers do them for her, but they did an EXCELLENT job that was WAAAY BETTER than her by a long shot! Not only that, one of her workers did My GF's Gel Pedicure VERY HORRIBLY that the powder even chipped off within 24 hours!!! With that being said, her 2 workers that did my pedicure & wax were very friendly & very sweet as well! Per my recommendation for this nail salon, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this place due to my injuries & I want people to know to save their skin & their money too!!! NOT ONLY THAT, I even reported the business to the State Board of Cosmetology as well!!!

When I told her it wasn't the color or design I asked for, she said, "It'll look better later." But it didn't--at all. She also failed to mention there would be extra charges for additional layers, and in the end, I was charged $50 for a color I hated and nails that were honestly poor quality. Her attitude was very forceful and dismissive. She doesn't care to hear feedback or concerns from clients. The hygiene in the salon was terrible--nail dust and polish splatters were everywhere. * The place is sloppy and unsanitary * She over-shaved my nail bed and added extra layers without consent or final pricing * She doesn't listen to clients and just does whatever she wants * If you're unhappy and ask for help, she won't care at all I highly do not recommend this salon--not just because of the money, but because of how I was treated. I feel totally scammed and honestly upset every time I look at my nails. So disappointing.

Sophie suggested I add a build to my manicure to help with the brittle nails and they feel like my real nails and not the bulky texture most places makes my nails feel. I went with a pretty purple color this time. Nini did my pedicure this time. She did my manicure last time. She did a great job at my callus removal. My feet feel baby soft. I value this salon and the service they provide, and I believe situations like this may feel smoother if handled at the next visit when possible. Overall, positive experiences and talented staff. I really try very hard to find the good in any business until they demonstrate the epitome of "bad…read moreservice." 1. I called and asked for full set gel nails and manicure. 2. Grateful they were available on a Sunday (mind you I'm traveling and decided to wait till this trip for these fine services...my self-care for a rough last few months helpinghomeless youth and young adults.) 3. My manicure was a portable footsoaker and I only soaked in between taking my feet out for service. I had to use a small stool to place my feet upon. (I was too embarrassed to take a photo!) I had to ask for a second pillow because it was hard on my, just massaged back from Alibaba Foot Spa &Massage. One young lady was "doing" my feet while thr second one worked on my nails.(‍ use your mind to visualize how awkward that was and how I was sitting. 4. The young lady that was working on my feet did a great job, I must say as far as cleaning up my toes with filing and cutting, etc. 5. The young lady that was working on my fingers, I'm not sure what and how the communication went wrong. We struggled with understanding gel polish for my nails and regular polish for my toes. It also didn't help that she could not understand English very well. I wasn't bothered until she lost all communication about my nails. I was waiting for her to pull out nails, as I asked when called. However when I ask where were the nails to apply with the gel polish, I was told that they would cost $75 contrary to the $50 charge originally given. I told her nevermind and that I would go elsewhere for my nails; and will only finish up my feet. We're not counting the time wasted for no nails at this at this point. 6. At the checkout, I pull out my credit card to pay for the "limited services" and was told the charge was $50 ($30 for feet and $20 for cleaning my nail cuticles. But no gel or nails! 7. Lastly, a third young lady informed that they only take cash, Zelle, or Venmo! Mind you when I called and arrived, it was never told to me the form of payments. Probably because when I arrived, the young ladies seemed a bit discombobulated and I pray it wasn't because of my skin!! The service received was NOT close to being fair! And to think that I used Google to find them and they had a 4.6 review and was 3 minutes from my wonderful Massage...remember I was in need of Self-care! I missed one review from Layla 3 years ago, "If you aren't of Asian descent don't come here!" This is troubling if you are in the nail industry and can only do "one" race. Let that be known on the front end and not after unspeakable service and charges!

The quality is there too--i had it for a month and it's all still intact which is great. Here is the con--the price has changed and base is $60 alone without any design yet. So if you want design...that is gonna cost you. They were not able to do my original choice in nail design which i felt was so simple. It was just green and basic flower design. She did not offer to try and draw it either, just a nope we don't have flower stickers and can't do it. It was February when i did my nail...so why no flowers for spring?

UPDATE: Joanna, Groupon allows vouchers to be gifted, which we discussed on the phone and which you were fully aware of before scheduling my appointment. Despite that, you proceeded to book me and then pressured me to cancel my Groupon so you could "price match" and bypass the platform. That is not my responsibility as a customer and shows that YOU yourself are being greedy, opportunistic and trying to play the system. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced the impression that customers using Groupons are treated as a lower priority. While businesses are free to choose whether or not to accept Groupons, it is deeply unprofessional to accept them begrudgingly and then provide a subpar experience. To be clear: you called me at 2:00 PM to change my 2:15 appointment, then texted me at 2:13 PM, when I was already parked, to say you couldn't make the 2:30 time either and asked me to return at 4:00 PM. That level of disorganization is unacceptable and a complete disregard for my time, regardless of the payment method. After I left an honest review describing my terrible experience, you proceeded to text me late at night on multiple days, attacking my character and harassing me. I asked you repeatedly to stop texting me, and ultimately had to block you. This escalation over a $15 Groupon is unnecessary and troubling. Your time would be better spent managing your business and addressing all the issues you complained about. Your horrific behavior throughout this experience has only confirmed that this is not a professional operation and not a business I wish to support. Customers beware: Save yourself the inconvenience and drama and go elsewhere. There are many professional, respectful and fabulous nail salons in the area that value their clients' time (and do not bribe their customers with discounted services in exchange for a positive review).

I actually drove from South Bay to San Gabriel (LOL) because I was really enamored and respected her artistry. I loved the little salon and how professional Lannie is. She's been in the industry for well over two decades and it clearly shows. I appreciated her patience with me as I'm new to getting nails done. The single one star review is actually from a temp employee that is no longer with Lannie! Her prices are on par with most salons. If I remember correctly, it's $40 for single color gel, and then $2-3 per nail for art, $2 per nail for gold flaking. Obviously it really depends on the designs you want but expect about $75 on average, and don't forget to tip either. If you're not sure, she responds pretty quickly to estimated costs. The gel manicure lasted me about 2 weeks, and I ended up taking mine off at home but didn't do it correctly so my nails are pretty bad and will probably take a few more weeks or months to get back to what they were like before. I'd just get it taken off for $10 or so at a reputable salon next time I get gel. I'd love to come as a regular but the salon itself is too far away for me to be comfortable to make that time commitment (2 hour roundtrip + 2 hour appointment) every two weeks. So for now, I think I'll probably try to stop by when I have a day off or for special occasions. Lannie's really busy, expect to need to book an appointment 2-3 weeks out.

I almost don't want to share bc she's already as booked as it is, but's she's so awesome it'd be a shame if not more people know about her & her work. If you're looking for a Saturday, call 3-4 weeks in advance. There may be cancellations but I wouldn't count on it. Weekdays are a little better, esp. during fall/winter, however, still call as early as you can just to be sure. Looking forward to many more fun nails appointments.

I don't have a specific artist I stick to and I don't need to because every single one of them is talented, kind, and pays such close attention to detail. I can come in with an idea, and they always get it right down to the T. My nails come out perfect every single time, and I'm always obsessed with the results.
