Last time I had Nina, this time I had Joanna, and she was wonderful - detail oriented, gentle, and a perfectionist, she helped give me exactly what I wanted but had a hard time with when having to choose a color. I went here for a gel pedicure. Lady was very nice and friendly. Service was great and pretty fast. But most importantly pricing is super reasonable. Definitely recommend this salon. They do a lot of other beauty services too. Have facials/massages and lashes. Hope to come back and possibly try their other services! The vibe is chill and very nice as well. Terrible service!! Wanted me to cancel my Groupon, I said I'm not sure if I could and she said she'll show me how once I got there. Told me to come in 30 minutes. As I was heading out the door, they called and changed to 30 mins later. Then as I pulled into the parking lot, they texted me they couldn't come in until an hour later. Complete waste of my time and gas! So unprofessional and didn't even apologize. DO NOT RECOMMEND! UPDATE: Joanna, Groupon allows vouchers to be gifted, which we discussed on the phone and which you were fully aware of before scheduling my appointment. Despite that, you proceeded to book me and then pressured me to cancel my Groupon so you could "price match" and bypass the platform. That is not my responsibility as a customer and shows that YOU yourself are being greedy, opportunistic and trying to play the system. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced the impression that customers using Groupons are treated as a lower priority. While businesses are free to choose whether or not to accept Groupons, it is deeply unprofessional to accept them begrudgingly and then provide a subpar experience. To be clear: you called me at 2:00 PM to change my 2:15 appointment, then texted me at 2:13 PM, when I was already parked, to say you couldn't make the 2:30 time either and asked me to return at 4:00 PM. That level of disorganization is unacceptable and a complete disregard for my time, regardless of the payment method. After I left an honest review describing my terrible experience, you proceeded to text me late at night on multiple days, attacking my character and harassing me. I asked you repeatedly to stop texting me, and ultimately had to block you. This escalation over a $15 Groupon is unnecessary and troubling. Your time would be better spent managing your business and addressing all the issues you complained about. Your horrific behavior throughout this experience has only confirmed that this is not a professional operation and not a business I wish to support. Customers beware: Save yourself the inconvenience and drama and go elsewhere. There are many professional, respectful and fabulous nail salons in the area that value their clients' time (and do not bribe their customers with discounted services in exchange for a positive review). read more

Everyone here was lovely, friendly, welcoming and they got me in quickly and they took their time to meticulously make sure I liked the job they did. They asked multiple times if I liked it to make sure I was satisfied. The vibe was relaxing, and I probably could have fallen asleep in that big ol comfy chair I was sitting in, had I not needed to be awake for the dip process. When I questioned whether that amount was truly necessary, the recommendation suddenly changed to one syringe total for both eyes. This significant change made me question how the original recommendation had been determined. I was then presented with paperwork related to my refund. However, the document did not simply acknowledge the refund. It also included language limiting my ability to leave negative reviews or pursue complaints. When I asked about this, I was repeatedly told it was "just for the refund," but that was not my understanding of what the document said. At that point, I chose not to sign anything. I left the clinic and accepted a partial refund of $97 instead of $100 because I was told a $3 Venmo fee had been deducted. After my visit, I reviewed Yelp and noticed several reviews describing concerns similar to my own regarding pricing, upselling, and treatment recommendations. I encourage prospective patients to carefully read all documents before signing, ask detailed questions, request pricing in writing, and seek a second opinion before proceeding with any cosmetic treatment.

I went in for a Yelp glow event where I received a complimentary facial. I liked the facial enough. This is also the first medspa I've ever interacted with/stepped foot into so I was intrigued. I've been wanting to get rid of my persistent dark spot and friends around me were starting to visit medspas. Without doing proper research (which is 100% my bad) I decided to get the picosure pro package after the facial. I don't know what came over me. I just spent the money. The manager was quite convincing and in hindsight I should've done my research prior to spending so much money at this place. The package was definitely a good deal. I did a chemical peel, 2 sessions of picosure pro, and 2 facials. The facials were fine. My three stars are related to following experiences - the lack of communication throughout the process regarding the pros and potential cons or side effects, the lack of interaction I had with the NP who did the procedure, the lack of deep knowledge of the procedure, and the outcome. After my peel, I had additional dark spots. Sure my skin looked brighter (I peeled A LOT) but I also got additional darkspots from the peel. Then I went in for my pico pro sessions. The pico pro got rid of my one initial darkspot but brought forth MORE darkspots. So now, I have darkspots by both sides of my eyes - ones I have not had before. I think the NP was quite aggressive with her procedure. Well I wouldn't know for sure because they haven't explained why I have more darkspots. I was quite proactive in asking questions but a) it was difficult to schedule a time to talk with the NP, and b) the conversation didn't amount to much in my opinion because she simply just said it's part of the process. I think if they had explained that this COULD be a potential side effect, maybe with some more scientific explanations, I would feel better about the situation. Anyway, I considered continuing my treatment here since they "know" my skin but decided I will go to a different medspa to fix my darkspots.

I definitely would recommend this place because they're very very sweet and they take their time with their services. The quality of their Japanese Gel is very good because the last time I was here, my gel lasted over a month with NO chipping !! I was so impressed because I don't think I have gone to any other place with gel that lasted that long without chipping. But you go pay for the type of quality so be prepared to drop $100+. My Japanese Gel manicure was a total of $100 ($60for Gel X,$20 for ombré , $20 for all finger with diamonds design) and Japanese gel pedicure with one color was another $50. My nails are complimented by colleagues and friends！ I do love how they have phone holders because l was able to watch my shows but they also had movies playing before and also music playing in the background. Her prices are great and lower than many of the places I called in the SGV, while offering a more personalized experience than bigger places where you walk in and feel like a number. My biggest concern were my heels which if you're like me and wear sandals/slides most of year - well you know it becomes far from the soft baby smooth feet we all aspire to have. There was no judgement throughout and she even gave us detailed tips on how to keep the reptilian heels at bay. Brought the boo and he really enjoyed the experience as well (she did an infinitely better job than when he trims the talons himself). When I got there to double check if they will price match, they said ok. The lady that did my nails was really sweet, didn't speak much English, but did the best she could on pedicure. However, she didn't realize she grazed my pedicure when we transitioned into doing manicures. I pointed out to her that some of the pedicure got removed, so she fixed it and it wasn't until I got home that I realized the pedicure was chipped (on the FIRST DAY that I got it). I asked to see if she can do some simple designs and she had to call her boss over who was originally there, but left and had to come back, because the girl that originally helped me out didn't know what the additional price for designs would be, didn't know how to do it, and couldn't communicate English much with me. I knew limited Mandarin and spoke with what I could that she gave her boss a heads up that I was able to understand them if they were to talk behind my back. She mentioned that they can put a flower sticker on my nails for a smaller fee than the designs I was originally thinking about getting and the boss kinda handled my nails roughly.. When payment came around and I showed them my screenshot of the Groupon deal I would've got if I purchased it online, the boss mentioned that it would be the price if I bought it online, but not the price the store accommodates..? I was kinda annoyed by this, because all of the stores that I've been to for Groupon always matches the discounted Groupon price, but they did not here. I paid it anyway considering it as a tip for the boss and also tipped the nail tech that helped me out since she massaged my feet and hands that was nice. My nails did not last for my trip with the girls at all the next few days and quickly chipped away, so I will not be coming back.
