I called in for a same day appointment and it was completely empty when I came in on a weekday afternoon. I arrived with a plan and a design I wanted with charms. I am very used to just coming into a salon telling the nail tech the style I want, the colors I want, the designs I do / dont want and then leaving extras up to the nail tech so they can use their own creative freedom. Thats what I tried to do here as well. But tbh I felt as if they were inexperienced with these type of requests. The nail tech that was assigned to me also didn't speak English so after translating everything for 30 minutes I still felt like they didn't grasp what I was really asking for or fully understood what I wanted. I almost walked out because of this but I had an important event to go to and needed my nails done and only had time today so I stayed. Eventually they were going to overcharge me anyways after I heard the quote, so we scratched the whole thing since there was just too much misunderstanding and I just ended up choosing Gel X one color cat eye style. I kind of regretted choosing this style because under light it is very transparent snd see through so you can literally see the extensions attached to my natural nails ..They do have various designs on the wall but I didnt like any of them. To me they werent that cute and seemed a bit outdated? not trendy? I know that could just be my opinion. It was just an okay experience, I dont think I would come back here as its not the type of nail salon I am looking for, but they got the job done at the end of the day. The total price with a weekday discount was around $80. I did find it weird that they didn't ask me to wash my hands before starting as I am also used to doing that at other places. read more

Under new management -- Janet is no longer the owner. My pedicure was good, but my Gel X service was not a good experience. She seemed rushed, trying to apply my nails while I was still getting my pedicure. The nail tech placed the first nail incorrectly and had to remove it because of the mistake she made. After that, she moved me over to the manicure/Gel X station to continue the service. I was actually happy about that because I really wanted my nails to look good for my trip. I got simple red nails with no design, so it definitely felt like I wasn't asking for a lot just good, clean nails done correctly. During the appointment, I noticed my pinky nail was crooked. She said she already knew but continued painting over it instead of properly fixing it. All she did was file it down, which didn't correct the issue. She was on her phone most of the time, which made the service take longer. She was also rude and didn't create a comfortable environment. I didn't have time to keep explaining that the nail was crooked, and it was clear she didn't want to fix it. At one point, several staff members were huddled together laughing and mocking while looking at her phone, she was texting clients and reviewing their messages and nail design photos during my nail session. What I used to like about this place before is that it wasn't a typical nail salon. It was real nail techs who took their time, were professional, and didn't gossip about their clients during your nail session. This experience was very different from when it was under the original owner. Overall, it wasn't a professional or welcoming environment, and I would not go back. read more

Was extremely dissatisfied with the gel extension mani and gel pedi yesterday. Many problems - one - while applying gel nail on my pointer finger, she made some mistake and had to remove and reapply, it was so painful - no apologies from the manicurist. Second - the application of polish took an hour! Third - our appointment was messed up. I asked for Lina and we were given different technicians. On my daughter's mani/pedi- one - they said they didnt have the design, they said no alternatives. Second - she came out with her fingers sore because of the very rough manicure. The lady next to me was also conplaining and not happy at all. In addition price was so high. We have gone to this place since it opened in 2018/2019, and have been loyal customers thru covid and all. The original owner JANET was fabulous, very cheerful and accommodating. This new owner needs to learn customer service, organized scheduling and to value customer. We will not be coming back. read more
