First time here and service was great. The owner gave me a cold, bottled water, warm welcome at the door and a goodie bag on my way out. I sat at table four but don't know the technician's name, but she decided that she was going to use the Dremel to cut my cuticles so it cut five of my nail beds. I was lightly bleeding and she apologized so it's been throbbing for two days. In my 20 years of getting my nails done never have I seen someone do it without the proper equipment. Her technique polishing was excellent and clean but unfortunately, the polish chipped in two days which is pretty quick for gel. Pricing is fair $30 for a gel manicure and $5 for removal. This used to be my go-to nail salon before the previous management changed, but after my experience this past Saturday, I definitely won't be coming back. I called ahead to ask if they accepted walk-ins and was told yes. I said I'd be there in 10 minutes, and when my sister and I arrived, we were barely acknowledged. The man at the counter just stared at us looking confused, while another employee asked what we wanted in a very rude and unwelcoming tone. When I explained that I had just called about a walk-in manicure, she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. She then started asking "One manicure? Two? What do you want?" in an almost interrogating tone instead of simply greeting us or telling us to have a seat and pick colors like they used to. The whole interaction felt awkward, dismissive, and honestly uncomfortable. Customer service and basic courtesy matter. We ended up leaving because I'm not giving my business to a place that treats customers that way. Really disappointing experience. If only I could give this place a zero, I would. read more

It was my to go spot, but now I don't know. I just got my manicure gel about a week ago on Friday March 20th and the gel is all GONE! I usually have gone in the mornings and it's extremely packed. This time I went afternoon with my mom. It was a birthday gift to her, and I was hyping the place up. My nail technician was super nice, friendly... but finished my nails in like 10 min... I think that's why the gel didn't stick. I have been going to this place for a while now and even though I don't go as often, the times I've gone I've never had this issue. Even if I washed dishes my nails would last. I'm disappointed in the quality. He did it very quickly like he was running out of time... I didn't expect my gel nails to only last a week. I barely even did any house work so they could last. Now my toe nails, they are still looking very good, they aren't even gel... and I wear mostly shoes. The nail technician that did my pedicure was PERFECT. She took her time to take out the dirty stuff and the hangnails, she took her time and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would go to her again for my toe nails. My mom manicure gel are falling as well, but not like mine. Hers are lasting a little longer than mine. I recommend going in the morning's probably. I'm just not happy that my gel nails have fallen and it's only been a week. Plus $5 per nail color... I mean it's a rip off if I'm going to have this problem of not being able to keep the gel nails longer than a week. I posted a picture of my mom's gel nails. Two of them fell in less than 4 days and she had to paint them a light blue so her nails wouldn't look weird. This was her first time coming here. The place she usually goes to and gets her gel nails last her more than 2 weeks. The quality of this place is going down. read more

Very disappointing customer service and no effort to stand behind their work. I have been to Sky nails many many MANY times in the past and usually I have no issues or I just agree with the price for the quality of work done. However I came in for a simple acrylic set removal and several times my fingers were burnt and i had to alert the nail technician about this (I thought she would know as she's coming closer to my natural bare nails to slow down with the filing but I guest she just wanted to push me out of the chair fast to be open to more clients and work as I was just getting the removal or something else). I paid $20 for JUST the removal that included no nail cutting and still left me with some of the acrylic on my nails, and the nails just looking rough. I was then alerted if I wanted to just cut the nails it would be even more money or I could do another manicure (even more money). It has been a while (about 6 months) since I last came to Sky Nails, but last time I came a nail removal was around $12, I am not sure why the price increase if this was my worst experience here truthfully. ever since they changed management their work has not been good. today my mom asked for a gel pedicure and they gave her regular polish. she reminded the lady she wanted gel and she just said oops sorry. she asked for a white french and the lady left pools of polish on her nails. when my mom corrected her and asked her to fix them she ignored her. the pink was also a ton of different shades on each toe. when my mom asked for another layer so that they could be even the lady would just not and not do it. terrible service. everyone around working just came and provided no solution. they would just stare at us blankly and we're no help. read more
