Unfortunately, that just wasn't my experience. I went in for a brow lamination and shaping and explained that I wasn't into the super thick, trendy brow look. I wanted something more natural and balanced. After the lamination process, she started shaping my brows and when she showed me the results, I immediately noticed they looked uneven and lacked symmetry and thicker than I had wanted. I mentioned it to her and asked if she could correct them a bit, and while she did try, they still didn't look right to me afterward but I paid and left. I felt I could shape them better at home myself. The friend I had brought with me pointed out that they looked different from each other. Individually, they weren't terrible, but together, they just didn't look balanced or well-shaped as a pair. Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting perfect symmetry because brows are naturally sisters, not twins, but for a $150 service from someone with such a strong reputation, I did expect more attention to overall shape and balance. What disappointed me the most was what happened over the next few days. My brow hairs stayed extremely dry, stiff, and brittle well past the normal timeframe. By day three, they still felt very dry and I started noticing actual breakage and kinking in the hairs. After researching it online, it really seemed like my brows were overprocessed. I reached out to her because I understand mistakes happen and everyone can have an off day. I simply wanted to let her know what was happening and hoped she would at least respond or offer some help. Unfortunately, I never heard back from her at all, and honestly that part spoke volumes to me. I truly don't understand how so many people had such amazing experiences while mine was so disappointing, but this was genuinely my experience and I wanted to share it honestly.

Went in with my sister a couple Sundays ago (I love that they are open on Sunday) and we were able to get in and be seated right away. We called ahead but they take walk ins right away too. We both did a pedi and gel manicure and were able to be done in about an hour. These ladies are friendly yet fast and efficient, which is another thing I love about this place. Ive been trying to find a good place for a gel manicure and this is it. Super even and lasted for a week without chipping, my sisters lasted two weeks. We had Tram, Nancy, and Tiffany and they are each fabulous, the owner is super friendly too. This is definitely my new nail place. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for 2 + years. I found this nail salon due to proximity and convenience at first. However, I continue to go because the salon is CLEAN (very important) and the nail ladies are very good at what they do. Also, Chou (the manager) is very friendly and fun to talk to. The prices are competitive, the parking is super convenient and they also play great music! Chou is great at manicures and massages! You can't go wrong with this salon. read more

The service is good but the people skills towards Blacks really sucks. Guess they would prefer the Black folk stay in the ghetto. First, instead of properly wrapping my nails in foil with acetone (the standard and safe method), the technician placed my hands into bowls lined with produce bags filled with pure acetone -- without even telling me. I thought it was water until my skin started reacting and feeling painfully dry. The smell was so strong it gave me a headache, and at one point she had to cover my hands with a towel because of how overwhelming it was. Next, she used the wrong tool to remove my Gel X nails, which damaged my cuticles. On top of that, she skipped basic cuticle care altogether -- something you expect as part of any manicure service. My nails looked worse leaving than when I walked in. I called afterward to express how unsatisfied I was, and when I returned with my boyfriend, he had to point out how unacceptable the results were. Only then did they fix the damage, and they persuaded me to remove my initial Yelp review. Out of fairness, I did. However, when I came back later for an eyebrow service, the same technician openly gave me attitude -- even sucking her teeth at me -- clearly because I had complained before. That level of unprofessionalism is not okay. Overall, I would never recommend this salon. The lack of proper technique, unsafe practices, and unprofessional behavior toward paying customers is unacceptable.
