I was looking for nail salon near me, I found this one and was like expected The lady that did my nails her name was Chau, she was so sweet and she did an amazing job and definitely left me eager to come back and try new designs!

I've been coming to Nail Lounge since I moved to Pasadena in 2020. I've had many different technicians do my nails here over the years and every time they do a fantastic job!! Most recently I came in to have my nails done after my fiancé proposed to me! This was my first time having my nails done by Chau, the owner. She talked to my fiancé and I the whole time about our lives, our relationship, and our upcoming wedding plans. She's so wonderful to talk to! For the nails, I requested a gel French tip with a red heart on each ring finger. She suggested we do a "micro" French tip to make my nails look longer, which I loved! Overall the nails came out great and I got so many compliments. I love this salon and will come back here time and time again!

If you are looking for a nail salon that's reasonably priced and does excellent job, this is the place for you. All of the girls are exceptional. They do a great job for every service that I ask from them. Most nail salons are always in a rush to finish to get more customers, but the ladies here take their time which I love. The last service I got was gel manicure with gold flakes and they did a fantastic job. The girls really know what they are doing and they sure know how to satisfy a customer. I highly recommend this place!!!

This is next day gel service they gave my mom. Offered me 15 dollars back or to bring my mom back in but overall this was a horrible pedicure over all the nails are not straight. I can't bring my mom back in and 15 dollars back isn't convenient for me being I even had to go out my way to come back and show them the picture... I told them don't worry about it I'm just going to leave a review... that's when they offered a full refund... they can keep the money cause I'm way too upset. What I will say is that the price matched the service. So if you want cheap then this is the place to come.

I love this nail salon! I keep coming back (now six or seven times) because of the pricing, quality of care, and kindness of every employee! My tech Jackie has consistently done an incredible job, especially with delicate design concepts and absolutely stellar execution. I will definitely keep coming back!

I've been here a couple of times and they've always done a great job, but today they blew my expectations out of the water! My sister-in-law and I made an appointment for noon, but showed up half an hour early and they took us in right away. I got a gel pedicure with callus remover for my hooves, and acrylic nails on my hands. I was extremely happy with both! I was serviced by two different women and each one paid close attention to whichever area they were working on. I rarely get that kind of attention to detail elsewhere! They were in no rush like other places who just try to get you out the door. My sister-in-law also loved her nails and was surprised at how affordable it was compared to the other salons she'd been to in the valley. I am obsessed with my acrylic nails, they are everything I could have ever imagined! The peach ombré is so beautiful and natural looking. The grand total (without tip) was $112, which is not bad at all! Also, cash tip only, so come prepared!

I wish I could give this place zero stars because this is the worst gel ex manicure I have ever received in my entire life. She didn't even paint the nail all the way there's like a bubble or whatever on the side of my nail mind you, I'm literally just writing this as I'm leaving this place. I did not have time to sit there and have her fix all of this stuff, but then she decided to grab my hand so tight tightly and let me know that if I'm not going to pay for my nails, then she has to cut them off. I said I am not that type of person that's gonna just walk out and not pay and let go of my freaking hand. She thought because I was black that I was just gonna run out of the store and not pay for my nails, and she was literally holding onto my hand so tightly to the point where I literally could not move I could not understand this. I don't think you understand how that feels to have someone literally grab your hands so tightly because they believe that you're gonna just be running out of their store and not pay. My nails look like I did them myself.

First and last time I ever come here. They started off all friendly little did I know the lady that did my "fill" didn't even know how to do nails . Something they Could've started off with since the beginning. I left being so unhappy with my nails they were horrible. I'm not the one to usually complain so I finally decided to come in the next day the owner offered me a new set over the phone but still wasn't the best. The owner came in like an hour after I complained and still didn't own up to her being the owner . She should've not lied and been the face of the business. Her job should be teaching her employees on how to do nails or to not Work on anybody if they don't know to do nails properly .Ladies save yourself time & money . Do not come here below is a picture of how they left them . I'll leave to you're opinion! NEVER AGAIN . read more

I've only been here twice but so far it's one of the best nails salons I've been to, which is why I will be back again and again. The staff here is really friendly and they they do a great job. Julie did my pedi. My favorite part was the hot stone massage that's included in the delux package. Everyone here knows what they are doing and treat you like a king or queen. read more

Went in for a relaxing pedicure and instead I got to hear the owner's sister berate and belittle my technician in a foreign language. So much for relaxing. When I told the owner she down played it cause it was her sister. Didn't even try to comp me. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN and I'm telling all my friends too!! Customer service is king! Service was fine. Nothing special. Your basic nail shop. What really annoyed me was that they did not tell me their credit card machine was down when I came in for the service and then after I got my service and went to pay, the owner or manager lady blamed the other workers for failing to mention it. Hello? You were the one who greeted me and told me to go pick a color so YOU should have told me it was cash only that day and I would have saved myself the trouble and gone elsewhere. This has happened before here. Now I recall why it's been so long since the last time I came. Not sure why their payment system is so faulty but I won't be back. Plenty of places that take credit cards and even Apple Pay and don't make you go hunting for cash after you just got a manicure. read more

Mail Lounge is definitely an A+ Salon! I've been to many around the Pasadena area- none like this! Must say Chau makes it a special experience for all her customers. She is personable, down to earth and professional! Customer Service is her top priority, and it is evident. If you're in the area, and want a- tailored to your needs, nail experience then go to Nail Lounge in Pasadena. I go in there for a pedicure with the best pedicure person ever- Ten! First and last time I go here! I made an appointment for 7pm and I waited like 30 minutes to be attended. I did not like my nails at all. Prices are different when you're actually there then over the phone, they charge more then what you ask for and they don't even conversaré with you to feel welcome at their nail salon. I honestly have gone to other places and at least it's worth paying but I'm not going back here at all. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

I have never had such a terrible experience. I went in with even nails. Wanted a dip. Kept making them too thick. I expressed they were uneven and thick as we went along. Then she used the file machine and made nics and chunks. Then redipped. Then added gel color to try to fix it. Still charged me. Hands don't match. One mail was filed down completely and doesn't match the length or shape of the others. Absolutely terrible salon. read more

I get that I 'appear' to be a nail slut given how many nail shops I've rated; however, many chip after my reviews within a day or two (gels even), so my hunt continues. This one - albeit, fingers crossed for no chips - may be my new go-to from now on. That is the hope given that this is such a great hidden find snuggled between a shopping center full of little eateries and big grocery store! Brayden was a real artist who, luckily for me, is quite the perfectionist. Owner is over the top dramatic and barking obnoxiously loud orders/comments at her staff for any real customer calm & relaxation, but hey, you can tolerate this for a beautiful mani and/or pedi! read more

I come here once in a while, and they're getting worse and worse each time! Every time I come there's a new nail lady, and last time this lady who did my pedicure, she did such a sloppy polish, I had to tell her to fix it. She didn't even massage my feed, she only put a little bit of lotion on my ankle, and that was it! Especially after removing callus, you can't just leave the feet without any lotion! Thanks to her now I have cracked heels. I walked all day that day in sandals and my heels got super dry! Ugh read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for about 1 year now. I am so happy they are open again after Covid-19 restrictions were lifted for salons. I always make an appointment and I make it with Ten! She is AMAZING! She takes her time and does such a great job on both my mani and pedi. I am so happy I found a place in Pasadena because it's been a struggle to find a spot. So if you're looking for a nail salon I recommend Nail Lounge and I recommend asking for Ten. read more

BEST set of nails I have got done EVER, and that's saying a lot because I'm extremely particular and anal. My nails look great and feel great. Thoroughly happy with the attention to detail and overall experience. Customer service was excellent and extremely personable. The hand massage at the end was not rushed and felt amazing. Pricing was was fair and clearly represented. If you are spending your hard earned money and you're treating yourself, quality should matter and that is why I will be coming back here. **3.5 stars for nail lounge** I've been here twice, once for a classic manicure back in January and most recently for a gel manicure. The classic manicure was good, I went with a deep plum color and the lady who did it was nice. It lasted for maybe a week, not bad for the standard manicure. They also had a good amount of colors to choose from. The classic mani was $12 which is a steal because I was going to bellacures for $20-$25. The best part is Nail Lounge is spotless and they have modern furniture/comfy chairs with pillows. During my most recent trip, I went with a glittery pink for the gel manicure ($29) and the girl who did them was incredibly sweet. She did a good job. My only complaint was the UV light to dry them. I love that the lights are under the table, but they were HOT!!! I could feel my hands burning. This was my second time getting gel polish ever, and it was way hotter than bellacures. I couldn't wait to pull my fingers out, fearing I'd look like ET. :( My nails looked great but my hands were kind of wrinkly. Next time I'll say something, I'm hoping it can be turned down a bit. Overall, I love that this place is so close to home and the prices are really good for what you get. Parking is also easy and I was able to walk-in both times. read more

My husband thought it would be nice to get manicures and pedicures on Easter. He was right. We got the entire spa treatment. Feet in the spa with exfoliation, mask, massaged, and moisturized. Hands with with exfoliation, mask, massaged and moisturized. Even shoulder, upper back, and face massage. Paint and polish was simple for me because I like really simple. Great location. I highly recommend and plan on coming back. read more

I'm feeling so grateful to Nail Lounge for being open! Times are tough and a mani/pedi is a special treat right now. Boy did my cuticles need some extra love! Even during Covid and a heat wave, these ladies did a lovely job on my nails. They take your temp and offer hand sanitizer upon arrival. Everything is set up right out front on the sidewalk. Loving the gold gel color!! Pro tip, go in the afternoon to avoid direct sunlight outside. I managed to walk up without an appointment but during these strange times, it's probably best to make an appointment. Support your local nail shop! read more

This was my first time going, and IT WAS AMAZING. Kaylee did my cute Easter nails - I highly recommend her! She added extensions to my natural nails, did a dip powder pink ombré, and painted an adorable Easter bunny on my ring fingers. She got right against my cuticle with the dip, so they look nice and fresh. ALSO, they're being safe with COVID - masks, sanitizer, wall partitions, and separate dip powder containers. Gave this place another shot since C&L is renovating. Do not come here. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon and for good reason. She cut my nails unevenly both in length and symmetry. Also didn't do a good job cleaning. Half job for $15. Am not coming back here Adding fuel to fire - one of the manicurists has a cold. Coughing and eating cough drops *** Nails with a side of attitude. The woman rushed through a gel manicure and didn't cover the whole nail. She rushed me to pay $29, even asking me twice to sign before my nails were done. When I asked her to fix the nail in a polite way, she did it in haste while spewing Vietnamese complaints the whole time. Headed back to C&L across the street next time read more

Pretty expensive- considering my gel nails chipped In less than a week. Add $20 to the price of a regular pedicure for gel. Spa pedicure + gel is $89, which is way more expensive than other salons. Also, am I the only one who appreciates the manicurist moving from left to right chair when moving from working on left hand to my right hand? It's so much more polite then me uncomfortably reaching over my boobage to make her comfy so she doesn't have to move. Those small things matter to me. The manicurists are nice enough and offer water when you're seated. Nice massage chairs and the shop is clean. They fit me in short notice on Valentine's Day read more

UPDATE: My nail beds and plain fingers rejoiced when I found out they were allowed to reopen. I called Chou for an appointment and she let me know what to expect when I came in. I was so happy to see Lily who greeted me and the masks could not hide the excitement we had. She took my temperature, sanitize my hands, had me sign in (in case of emergency notifications), and then helped me choose a color from the gel choices. I did some fun colors for summer/I couldn't make up my mind. There were just a couple of other people getting their manis and pedis and they did a great job with spreading out the customers and I felt like I was getting VIP treatment. After she worked her magic, I paid in cash and made my appt to come back for a pedicure. There also accepting venmo and zelle, just no cards. This shop works so hard to keep their clients happy and more importantly right now, safe! Go support and tip these ladies because they deserve it. *The pic was taken 5 days after my appt. *I saw on their Instagram they posted about what to expect too. read more

I've been coming here occasionally for a few years because it's convenient. I think this time will be my last. Every time I come there's always at least one thing that isn't quite right. One time the polish pedicure polish was messy, another time the leg massage was as if she didn't want to touch me, she barely lightly ran her hands up and down my legs. This time was with somebody I hadn't seen before, she was so rough. She trimmed one of my nails with the cuticle cutter, and it seriously hurt. Usually I've been able to sit there for a bit while the polish dries. This time she turned off the massage chair right after helping me put my sandals on, basically saying it's time to leave. There are a lot of nail salons, I'm moving on. read more

The sister boss is being very mean to me.. I was asking how much if i can get manicure & massage (chairs behind me) at the same time? So she said it's free but I heard she said only for 4 mins...but I don't care..as long as they let me sit there for just a few mins, I'm okay with that. Then I asked the lady who did my nails when it's my turn to go..she said after I'm done, I can get the massage chair and relax for 10 mins..so I can get a totally relaxation. So I went after my manicure was complete, the lady helped me climb up to the massage chair...All of the sudden the sister boss came and said what am I doing..and said in a very mean way that there's no such a service.. the service lady communicated with her in Vietnamese and she stunned her eyes turn big wide and stopped us. They start arguing in Vietnamese while I just walked away with confusion. I mean..if there was a miscommunication between her and her colleagues, she shouldn't argue like that in front of me as her customer. She's showing disrespect ..so I wouldn't come here again read more

Nail Lounge is an awesome place for Nails and Eyebrows. They did my nails exactly how I wanted, natural and pretty. Absolutely recommend. The manager Chow is really nice, and her office follows all the regulations for COVID-19 safety. Upon arrival, they offer hand sanitizer use and make sure everyone is wearing a mask. Expect, my eyebrow threader was on her phone a lot, before and after she saw me. I was there a few months ago but, I do remember she was a little too quick doing my eyebrows, it felt very rushed. After she was done, she left to go to the bathroom and didn't come back. My friend was still finishing up her eyebrows, so soon after I went to the bathroom as well and walked past my threader. She was sitting in the back somewhere on her phone again. At this point, I still haven't paid. It would have only been annoying, but later I realized she messed up one of my eyebrows and took too much off. One was thinner than the other. I eventually went to another place and there, they lined them up better, correcting her mistake. It wasn't worth the money and trip, if this is the service we may get.

There's plenty of parking, but it might be crowded due to nearby businesses (e.g., Food 4 Less). The inside is usually clean. For the few times I've been there, only one lady (Sally) has been there working. So depending on the time and day, you may be waiting more than what you expect. However, Sally is pretty efficient without sacrificing quality in her work. She pays attention to the details and usually follows through with what I ask of her. She takes her time and kept making sure that my eyebrows were balanced and the same shape. This took approximately 15min for my threading (eyebrow was $12 and upper lip was $6). It would be nice to have package/combo deals but I think they compensate for a stamp card system (if you go 9 times you get your last threading service for free). Convenient for those living in the area. Get your eyebrows done while you're out running errands.

I wanted something more natural and balanced. After the lamination process, she started shaping my brows and when she showed me the results, I immediately noticed they looked uneven and lacked symmetry and thicker than I had wanted. I mentioned it to her and asked if she could correct them a bit, and while she did try, they still didn't look right to me afterward but I paid and left. I felt I could shape them better at home myself. The friend I had brought with me pointed out that they looked different from each other. Individually, they weren't terrible, but together, they just didn't look balanced or well-shaped as a pair. Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting perfect symmetry because brows are naturally sisters, not twins, but for a $150 service from someone with such a strong reputation, I did expect more attention to overall shape and balance. What disappointed me the most was what happened over the next few days. My brow hairs stayed extremely dry, stiff, and brittle well past the normal timeframe. By day three, they still felt very dry and I started noticing actual breakage and kinking in the hairs. After researching it online, it really seemed like my brows were overprocessed. I reached out to her because I understand mistakes happen and everyone can have an off day. I simply wanted to let her know what was happening and hoped she would at least respond or offer some help. Unfortunately, I never heard back from her at all, and honestly that part spoke volumes to me. I truly don't understand how so many people had such amazing experiences while mine was so disappointing, but this was genuinely my experience and I wanted to share it honestly.

Went in with my sister a couple Sundays ago (I love that they are open on Sunday) and we were able to get in and be seated right away. We called ahead but they take walk ins right away too. We both did a pedi and gel manicure and were able to be done in about an hour. These ladies are friendly yet fast and efficient, which is another thing I love about this place. Ive been trying to find a good place for a gel manicure and this is it. Super even and lasted for a week without chipping, my sisters lasted two weeks. Please consider looking at the photos of my nails an hour after they were done. I initially overlooked things because there was one employee in particular who was very kind and I kept hoping my experience would improve. Unfortunately, after several visits, I began noticing issues that became impossible to ignore. I observed sanitation and maintenance concerns that made me uncomfortable, including openings in walls with exposed plumbing, tools appearing to be reused between clients without proper visible sanitization, and a communal nail brush in the bathroom that was later used during service. This raised hygiene concerns for me personally. My birthday appointment was the turning point. I specifically requested Serena. During removal, my nails chipped significantly and I felt the service was rushed. I requested nail strengthening treatment and a simple French tip, but the final result was thick and not what I had asked for. When I politely said I was unhappy with the outcome, the response immediately became uncomfortable. Cameras were repeatedly referenced even though I was simply discussing the result of my nails and not disputing what happened. I was told that whatever I chose next "better be right" because they did not want me returning unhappy later. The repeated references to surveillance felt unnecessary and unrelated to the issue I was trying to address. There were also concerns about pricing. The posted pricing showed removal and regular polish charges, however I was charged more than expected and left confused about the final total. The polish reportedly applied "free of charge" did not feel free when the overall bill had already increased. After payment there was little acknowledgment, no effort to resolve concerns, and the interaction felt abrupt. When my husband later tried to discuss the pricing and service concerns, the conversation escalated further. Cameras were referenced again, we were directed to contact the owner, a phone number provided was unreachable, and the situation became increasingly hostile rather than solution focused. At that point it stopped being about the money and became about customer treatment. I gave this place multiple chances because there were staff members I genuinely liked and wanted to support. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, and disappointed. I would encourage management to focus on professionalism, sanitation transparency, customer communication, and handling feedback without escalation. For those looking in Pasadena, I would personally recommend seeking a salon with clearer pricing, stronger customer service, and a cleaner environment.
