My make up artist said the best thing to do when prepping for your wedding day are facials so I began my search for local Pasadena facialists/estheticians and found Mariam... and I am so glad that I did! So I sadly developed an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions after an entire year and 1/2 of them!! So so sad, and I was in SUCH denial that this could even happen, but apparently it does!! I even took a year hiatus and then put back on the extensions but still my eyes became puffy and swollen after a few hours of them on. Fool me once, fool me twice.. well I couldn't fool myself a 3rd time. Shout out to google and all you fellow girls with eyelash extension allergies-- or else I would NOT have found out about LASH LIFTING! I really wanted to find a suitable option and after extensive research, I was like hey why not. So after all of Mariam's reviews-- I reached out and was able to make an appointment that same week! I did a keratin lash lift + tint for 110$ which should last about 6 weeks. This is the end of week 3 and I can say they are still lifted up and curled nicely. I took a tropical vacation right after I did this and for 2 weeks, I was in straight humidity. I did a lot of snorkeling, swimming , tanning, hiking, and cliff jumps so I would say for my lashes to look the way they still do, I am pleased. I probably will contact back during week 5. The process took about an hour, and Mariam is super sweet and explained the process as she went which was nice. She's located inside a salon, with street parking only but it's a street that seems like there's always spots. She accepts cash, credit and venmo. This place is the best! I've been lifting my lashes for the past few years and decided to try a new place as my old place raised their pricing so much that I couldn't stomach it any longer. Glad I read through all of these reviews and settled on Mariam; so happy I did. Her place is inside of a cute little salon, her space was impeccably clean and the treatment table was comfy. At the beginning of my treatment I was very clear about how I wanted my lashes to look and boy did she come through. I was in awe of how lifted my poker straight lashes were afterwards that I kept looking in my car mirror. I just couldn't believe the miracle she achieved. I followed her instructions of no water near my eyes for 24 hours and no oily make up removers will help it last longer. I'll follow up this review in two weeks and post on the longevity.
