Where do I even begin? Xochitl is INCREDIBLE. I'm extremely scared of needles but had been noticing a major lack of substance under my eyes. They were looking extremely hollow, and it was getting to be a major insecurity of mine. I had seen work that Xochitl had done on others and so I reached out to have a consult. She LISTENED when I spoke and patiently educated me on layers of the skin, muscle loss etc. I cannot stress to everyone reading this how scared I am of needles, but Xochitl made me feel relaxed and comfortable. You enter their cozy lobby and check in as you wait for the staff to welcome you into your facial room. You listen to ambient and soothing tunes and already feel relaxed. You're then greeted by your esthetician and led into a facial room. Arianna was wonderful, it was my first facial in a while, so she walked me through the entire experience and told me what she was going to do. I also enjoyed the heated bed you lay in as you're getting the facial! I also loved how knowledgeable she was, and how she took her time to really get to know my skin. Arianna is a super star - extremely knowledgeable, professional and passionate about skincare. I was extremely self conscious about my skin prior to seeing her and would not leave the house without some type of foundation. Now that I've been coming to Facile for years, it's time to update this review! I originally came in for masseter Botox after my dentist suggested it to help with jaw clenching and grinding. Xochitl was kind, knowledgeable, and super conservative in her approach, and the results were amazing--I stopped waking up from clenching, and my jawline even slimmed down. More recently, I've tried lip filler and tear trough filler with her and I'm obsessed. Everything looks so natural and refreshed--never overdone. One star removed namely over the price because it does lean overpriced. First, the prices reflect that they're going for a luxury day spa treatment, but unlike a spa, there's no additional amenities for you to explore. Of course not a lot of day spas have a PA on staff nor do I find their estheticians as knowledgeable, but that just makes it feel like you're paying extra to subsidize some of the higher end services because a basic facial doesn't take advantage of those. $225 was rough to swallow for simply a facial, but I was curious and all the 5 star reviews got to me. My aesthetician was certainly wonderful and did everything right and is the reason this place is still getting 4 stars from me (so book Ariana for sure). It's mostly the policies and practices here that feel almost unnecessary. Like they provide a towel dress thing for you to wear (that I'm not sure how plus sized clients would fit into) when your facial is all face and upper body so i felt silly taking my shorts (which I could've kept on) and bra off. Again it felt like they do this to emulate a day spa, but only it's not a day spa. I will also accept some responsibility for coming here with no specific things for my aesthetician to work on. I get facials for the relaxation and because I didn't have any add-ons or specific concerns, my service included a full on clavicle, neck, and back massage once the main treatment was over. I wish I knew this was the case because most places I get facials from just find other ways to keep working on your face because the way you're positioned on the table isn't meant for a back massage (I felt so awkward that she had to keep working on my back while I was lying down on my back). But again what makes it worth it is the expertise and skill here. What stood out to me was my extractions were more thorough than other places and significantly less painful. It takes practice and technical know-how to get to that level. One neutral comment is they only use their products which is to be expected. They don't push them. Overall, I'd only come back if I had a specific issue/concern with my skin. The price point is hard to swallow especially after looking at a review that was 11 months ago that was significantly cheaper. If you're coming here to try a facial out of sheer curiosity to see if the price is worth it, I don't recommend it. If you have a specific thing in mind and can't seem to find a reputable aesthetician, try it out. read more
