Just got hydracial on Saturday and had good experience with Claudia. Seriously ask Claudia, she is very professional and gentle. First she asked a question what my concern is and after that she start to customize your facial to address the issue you have. During the facial it was so relaxing and manual extraction also less painful compared to another facial I've experienced. Well I understand everyone pain tolerance is different, but for me personally from scale 1-10, it was 4. Office was clean and organized. You can ask questions to the estheticians for sure but when it comes to prescription it's better you get consultation with dr in charge. As far as I know if you buy products for $150 and up, you could get free consultations which is plus if you want to know skin layering and maybe procedure like Botox, filler etc. I have been struggling with acne, closed commodes since like forever, however one items that works like magic is oil control pads. It has salicylic acid inside which combat bacteria, and also even you wash your face, once you swipe the pads the residue will visible there. Sometimes even face wash couldn't clean enough and oil control Pads for the rescue. Another Items I love the most is sunscreen and power defense! Get the pads, power defense and sunscreen!!!! You won't regret! This review also for the manager Shelley. The manager was kind and work fast to address the issue. She knows how important customer service in the business. The Service: Shelly was helping me on schedule the appointment on the phone. Super friendly and efficient. Cherry is the esthetician helping me on the treatment. She is awesome!! She is very knowledgeable and informative. She explains the treatment step by step and also the purpose of the products she uses. She doesn't upsale or pressure me buying any of the treatments or products. She only recommends what I need. It makes me feeling very comfortable going back for more service later on. Highly recommend her service, check with the front desk of her schedule when you make the appointment. The Treatment: Hydrafacial - This treatment helps to remove dead skin, whitening, removing fine lines & etc. There is a little bit of discomfort during the treatment because this machine uses suctions. But after the treatment, in less than 5 minutes, the discomfort goes away. The Parking: There is public parking lot on Lake & Cordova (90 minutes free!). Just a few minutes walk. The products are great, however the customer service is terrible. I've purchased items from this store in-person multiple times and each time, I've felt incredibly uncomfortable standing there paying for my products. The women there look like they don't want to be there, not even a hello or a 'how can I help you?' when you walk in, you feel as though you're being judged rather than helped. Customer service is everything but apparently the people working there either don't care or just don't know what it is to provide it. I can't even imagine getting a facial or anything from them besides getting checked out for the items I purchased, with that attitude and demeanor. Then when I finally went off birth control my skin went even crazier w being oily, breakout etc I started seeing Anita NNP and she has changed my skin for the better. She is only available Tuesday's and Thursday so plan accordingly. She's done Kenalog injections and extractions which have helped me prevent scarring. Serene Obagi has been my nurse and skin guru for the past few months. I can also say she's been my angel because she has transformed my skin and has made me feel and look my best! She makes sure to customize my skincare regimen and follows up every 4-6 weeks to check on my progress. She is caring, professional and so knowledgeable! Just look at my before and after picture (i had really bad hyperpigmentation and she was able to help me get rid of every single and dark spot!!) I always hated everything about my skin and was so embarrassed by it since a teenager :( thanks to Serene and the Zo products, i now have healthy, clear and vibrant skin- i have never received so many compliments on how good my skin looks- it's amazing how these products work like magic. I've had a facial and 2 Clear & Brilliant treatments at Zo so far, and everyone at the center has been super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Anita is really patient with addressing all my questions and how to get the results I'm looking for. My main concern is removing pigment from sun spots and a few freckles. The treatment itself isn't painful, but you do get a burning sensation once the numbing cream wears off. It doesn't last very long, but prepare to get a sandpaper texture on your skin the next few days. Dr. Anita is super gentle with my skin, and I've enjoyed getting to know her through my treatments. I still have one more Clear & Brilliant treatment left, but I'm confident in getting closer to the skin condition I'm looking for! read more

This place hans hardly any availability for appointments. They only have providers on Wednesdays and Thursdays. When ch makes me wonder, why would they open all other days, just to sell the creams? How do people know what to but for those first timers? Now, On my first appointment a month ago, I spent $800, im almost don't with a couple my products and I have a recheck scheduled in 3wksx that by the way cost $250 and in order to wave it I have to invest $150 of prefects. But if I need product now not in 3 weeks, thats is pushing me to invest more than its necessary. Their business model is smart for them but pretty fucked up for clients. These are 1k treatments that continue, they are not cheap and they are not a one time purchase, I feel that at least, all rechecks should be part of the regime purchased the first time. Left with $340+ in products that are making such a difference in my skin! My pores are way smaller and not as oily but my skin is glowing and my friends think I'm wearing foundation but I'm not. The facial: out of this world! The Zane Obagi (ZO) products feel like what they really are, high end and effective. You feel it working on your skin almost like if the product has life in it. And when you take them home with you they don't feel watered down or different from with the esthetician's are using. She did a mask, exfoliation, extractions and then she closed my pores with a product that I don't remember right now. I was able to relax and the bed was super comfortable. Luxury all around! The Esthetician: She had the most wonderful touch. My favorite part was the extractions! I know hard to believe! She was so carful and thorough. Just need to be honest for sec, I seriously feel like i've tried almost all the skincare places/people in los angeles and cannot stand the fact that i've never known about ZO skin center until now. I also completely loathe the fact that i've wasted thousands of dollars on other estheticians who did not understand my skin and all the money i put into products and facials never brought the same results that these guys have AND I've only had three treatments here so far. Claudia handled all of my skin needs and after seeing her three times, I decided I am not going anywhere else. I've received lasers, peels, facials of all kinds, and nothing compared to the service i received from Claudia who truly cared for my skin and addressed all my concerns. The most important thing I want to say up font though is the fact that ***they are affordable*** and do not rip you off. you will 100% get your money's worth. I am not joking because I have been bamboozled by so many facial, skincare centers and due to my clear vulnerability and desire to perfect my skin, I have handed people money for nothing. A deep cleansing facial is UNDER $200 and a dermafrack treatment is ALSO under $200. They also don't shove products in your face and force you to purchase anything you don't want or need. Claudia gave me a free cleanser and only had me to use their cleansing pads ($35.) She also taught me the beauty of simplicity by using less products on my face. So, i'm not quite sure how/why everyone is saying they make you buy products... my experience here has only been peaceful, calm, and most importantly, simple. I used to go to RejuvaYou in pasadena for my Spectra Laser treatments, but after raising the price of each treatment to $300 this past January, I decided to search for another option. I found ZO Skin Center which immediately made me feel apprehensive, or rather, intimidated, by the name "Obaji" who we all know touts greatness in their products. I literally thought, "this place is going to empty my pockets for certain." Well, I was wrong. My skin has never looked better than any laser treatment I received and Claudia really understood what I needed. After just one visit, my skin was clear and smooth and I left paying half of what I'd pay for a Spectra Laser treatment at RejuvaYou. My second treatment was the dermafrack, which to be honest, is extremely painful and hard to undergo, but well worth it. Just running my hands across my cheeks in the shower has never felt so smooth. i highly recommend getting that done.
