Tip: If you go to their website and enter your information, be prepared for a phone call by the end of day from a representative to help you book an appointment for whichever service you are looking for. I wanted to get a cover up done. However the artist told me my current tattoo is too dark to get any color work done and suggested I get some lightening done with laser removal. Which brought me here, laseraway. I saw a deal online about a discount and thats what sold me. I've been a client for over 2 years for laser tattoo removals. They use a technique to try and determine the length of treatment. I provided my history of the tattoo and location, size, etc. and they determined it would take about 17 sessions to fully remove it. I originally purchased 6 sessions with numbing and I didnt see any progress when it came to my 4th or 5th session so I added 4 more. Now, my sessions are almost coming to an end and I am on my 7th out of 10, the nurse said that it will all he gone if I added 3 more sessions afterwards. So a total of 13 sessions. Even with the numbing cream, each time, the laser will intensify to break down the pigment of the ink and deeper into your skin. They provide you with eye protection and a stress ball. They also provide cold air as they move the laser on your tattoo. Once they are done, they will provide you with some ointment, wrap, and an ice pack if needed. After each session, they recommend a longer healing time. I went from 3 weeks, to 4, 6, 8, 12...etc. so it doesnt get done immediately. My last 3 sessions will probably be 4 to 6 months apart. The reception staff are friendly and will try their best to upsell other services to you. Other than that, the facility is nice and has great air conditioning. read more

I answered a promotion for Botox. I had 4 units left and didn't see real results so I went back for touch up. The girl Maddie was very nice and professional, but the Botox was weak and watered down. I've been getting Botox since most of the technicians were in diapers, I know good Botox. Plus I had my grandson there several times one of the technicians tried to sell me a package when I repeated several times I don't have time to fill out anything have my grandson I need to go. I'm late for work every excuse and she still kept pushing me, which was very annoying. Then she offered me Care Credit. I was a little offended. I don't need Care Credit. I'm a nurse and I make over $10,000 a month, but she assumed I couldn't afford treatment without a credit plan. I won't be going back. read more

I found this attitude from everyone I've talked to, from their sales person who called me when I filled out the intake form to the receptionist that checked me in. Melody Bader sold me on six Clear and Brilliant facials and eight laser hair removal sessions. After one facial, I decided to stop treatments. It's been ONE MONTH and I can't get anyone to help me cancel treatments and receive a refund. I've tried texting and calling Melody a number of times. I've also called their Pasadena location and wrote messages to customer service through their website. I'm not impressed by this company. Hopefully you're here before you've committed money. These are pro scammers. Here's my 3-month legal battle with LaserAway summary; -Went in for one bikini line treatment. Was charged for a full brazilian. Was told 'the price is barely different' so I shouldn't complain. -Had an adverse reaction to the treatment and told LA I wanted to cancel which they refused because I had one treatment. I said I didn't know I was going to have an adverse reaction until I went through the treatment. -Asked them to bill me for one visit and they're charging me SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS. -I've been emailing and calling bi-weekly since July and they've yet to send me my contract or help me directly. They keep passing me around to anyone else. Beware folks. Go literally anywhere else. They're already facing multiple lawsuits for deceptive practices and fake sales. I initially signed up as a new customer under the assumption I would get the 70% off. Wrong, that's only for tiny areas like unibrow and no one told me that, they just flashed a contract by me and rushed me to sign it. Save your money and time! read more

Always a great experience! I've been going here for almost a year and always enjoy my experience. This location is conveniently located on Lake Ave. next to the Macy's, TJs, etc. meaning there's free parking and other shops, restaurants nearby as well. The front staff is always friendly and professional, take time to answer my questions and aren't too pushy with sales, which I appreciate. Today I had a couple small areas lasered by Nurse Tamar. I've had her a couple times now and she is always professional and very personable. All the staff I had are always friendly and make it as comfortable as possible. I had heard from a few nurses that this location is in a older building, so it may not look as nice as some of the other locations, it for me I care mostly about convenience, service, cleanliness and effectiveness all of which I've been completely satisfied with at this location. Don't go here unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars for your armpits to look like this after a little over a week. This is AFTER 8 FULL SESSIONS (last session was this past august). Waste of money with no solution from the company other than them telling me to buy more. Why would I buy more when you obviously couldn't get the job done in the first place? It's been a couple years since LaserAway conned me out of $2K but I am reminded of their BS daily as their IPL treatments actually darkened pigment on my neck & face. I'm extremely fair (pale!) & received many treatments at other clinics with satisfactory results prior to LaserAway but since their treatments I've been told by other clinics that the hyperpigmentation LaserAway caused on my neck is permanent. Laseraway tried to sweep that fact under the rug by suggesting that I went in the sun & damaged my skin ... but this was during covid & I did not go in the sun at all for a solid 9 months as I truly sheltered in place. I avoid the sun like the plague & wear SPF 45 on the daily. The last time I was in the waiting area, I witnessed a patient inquiring about hair removal on her areola & was quoted over $1k for 6 treatments, she was so desperate that she was checking her bank balance & barely had enough to cover the cost & the relentless salesman gladly took her last few dollars for a package that would've been $200 at New Look in Glendale. I almost airdropped her the website *** anyone reading this, go to New Look for hair removal for a fraction of the cost that Laseraway will charge. AVOID IPL & clear brilliant altogether here as they lie about their machines &/or the skill level of their nurses (although they're all extremely nice). Before my appointment, I was getting a lot of feedback from people that have done laser hair removal, and the majority of them told me that it was extremely painful and they recommended that I take Advil or some type of pain medication to ease the pain. The morning of my appointment I didn't take any pain medication, so I was very nervous for the procedure. Once I felt the laser machine hit my body for the first time I didn't feel a thing if anything It felt like cold air hitting my skin. My experience went very smoothly and I felt no discomfort at all. BRFORE YOU BUY ASK ABOUT THE MAINTENANCE PACKAGE THEY WILL PUSH ONTO YOU AT YOUR LAST 2 SESSIONS!!!!! A must before you buy, I definitely did see results with Laser Away and I am happy, BUT I do see now that I need to go back for more sessions... I did half legs and full face. I paid $3,000. I am actually am quite happy the results of my three juvederm and Botox treatments. The problem is the relentless sales tactics. I actually had to block multiple numbers on my phone. The most egregious thing is when I was reviewing how the treatment sessions and what I could expect after were being discussed and I let the nurse performing the service know the salesperson gave me different information, the nurse said, "Of course they told you that. What do you expect? They're salespeople." So, she was letting me know, essentially, they are not to be trusted. Message received. I shall not use Laser Away anymore and will let my friends know this is a high-pressure sales endeavor. Too bad because I was pleased with the results. All of the events below happened today (6/14/2021). 12:02pm - called in to get pricing from Rita 12:29pm - made an appointment for 1:30pm (same day) and paid for 3 sessions 1:10pm - got a TEXT not a PHONE CALL from Rita asking to reschedule because she found out their machine was "down"... she didn't even say "SORRY" *By the time Rita TEXTED me, I was already parked and walking to LaserAway from the structure. FYI it took me 30mins to get to this location from El Monte. I also got there early because RITA asked me to get there earlier than 1:30pm! 1:20pm - I checked in and the girl at the front desk said "ohhh, I emailed Rita 40 MINUTES ago saying the laser machine was down" Where's the phone call and 40MINUTES ago?! I wouldn't have drove for 30mins if Rita would've CALLED me earlier! Rita NEVER called me back with an apology. All she did was refund me. I even have the time stamps of the texts for proof. RESULTS! Prior to coming here I was going to Elude Med Spa that had decent to little results. After 2 sessions here I've noticed less and less growth. I'm on my 6th session and let me tell you.... baby smooth. There's literally like no hair. I get underarms, fulls legs, and Brazilian laser hair removal treatments. I was highly concerned mainly about my ingrown hair and the multiple bumps from it. And now, I'm shooooooook to the core. Ingrown gone. Bumps gone. The clinicians/nurses are all great. They are attentive, know where I left off in my treatment and check in frequently during some of the less pleasant treatments to ensure I'm comfortable. LaserAway is relatively more expensive than a lot of other places. During the pandemic I was able to get a really good deal on tattoo removal. I completed my 10 sessions and purchased another 3 more as they call it the "maintenance" package for $300. My tattoo is almost completely gone but you can still see the red. I called today to see if they had any specials on the "maintenance" package and I was quoted $240 more than what I previously paid. She had me on the line too long, kept stalling. I kept saying I just want a price. I was honest and said it's too much I'll find a different option. She abruptly hung up on me. How rude!!! Pick up the phone do your job and calm down lady. I have been their customer for 4 years. They once quoted me $580 for upper lip hair removal for 1 session. Are you serious? Their machines are not any different. I'm so disappointed with them. The receptionist in the front were always so nice and the nurses too. Their approach over the phone is all wrong. They also called me one weekend back to back to tell me about promotions. So annoying. Just send an email. If you're going for the personalized touch then hire more knowledgeable and nicer people.
