This was my first facial massage so I don't have anything to compare it to but it was such an amazing experience. I've been under a lot of stress and experiencing lots of jaw pain and facial tension. I walked in a couple minutes early and was immediately greeted at the front desk. The space is clean and minimalist. The bed is very comfortable, heated, and can adjust to better support your back. My technician Lourella was very warm and friendly and went over the whole agenda in the first couple of minutes so I knew what to expect. I loved that they do a simple cleanse first. The massage was so nice and thorough and since I added the buccal massage we finished with that and wow was that amazing. I feel very relaxed and snatched too. After they do another cleanse and your skincare. The heated neck towel was the perfect finishing touch. I didn't to get up! Would definitely do this again and would recommend to others. Detoxia is the best LDM in Pasadena!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Becca back when she had her studio in Arcadia. Her knowledge and background in LDM is top tier and she doesn't BS when it comes to proper techniques. I always have the best experience with Becca and I'm always snatched when I leave Detoxia. The facility is super clean and very aesthetic, her massage room is such a vibe! I'm transported into peace and tranquility once I lay down on the heated cloud soft massage bed. Becca is so fun to talk to as well, I'm always comfortable and trust that the LDM I receive will make me less puffy, bloated, and leaving feeling light. It's a plus that Becca also has experience as an esthetician, part of the LDM treatment includes the face so the products she uses are high quality. What I love most about Detoxia is the technique they use. People get LDM confused with sculpting massages-- proper LDM pressure should never be too hard or cause bruising. As a self-professed skincare junkie, I am thrilled to have found Rebecca and Detoxia...bonus, she's right in my backyard! Rebecca is professional, knowledgeable, and just plain fun to hang out with! The DMK and Hydrafacial combo which also featured red light stim and a hyperbaric O2 treatment, was next level and so was my glow when I left! My last facial (elsewhere obvi) was a disaster (think Korean spa beat down which left me looking like I'd been in a bar fight...and lost) so this visit did a lot to heal my skincare PTSD and was SO COOL to boot! Hydrafacial is its own targeted and useful device, but DMK to unblock the flow of lymph (do some research it's pretty amazing) was such an unusual experience and I'd definitely do it again. Becca gave me the best facial I have ever had in my life. It was my first time trying a hydra facial and I loved it. My skin feels so soft and amazing after. I am glowing. I use to get facials once a month but I haven't gotten a facial in over a year because of this pandemic. I will definitely be going back to her once a month because she is incredible. I had never tried one of those peel off face masks that cover your eyes either it was so fun. My skin is super dry and sensitive especially in the winter but all the products felt good and soothing on my face and neck. And that neck massage at the end was to die for. There's free parking and it is not far from Malibu. I live in Santa Monica and it was worth the drive. Everything was fabulous. There's a blanket of you get cold and a hair wrap if you forget your hair tie. I never tried the red or blue light either it's so cool. Everything is so cute inside and super clean.
