Nail Forum has been my GO TO place for over 20 years. I was one of their first customers and continue to go every 2 weeks. Tweety has done my pedicures since 2005 and Coco has been doing my manicures for so long, I can't even remember how long it's been. Helen is very good too and has also done my lashes. The salon is very clean and it is very quiet, meaning people don't get loud when they are having their nails done, etc. I moved to Austin for a bit and would come back as often as I could for a good mani/pedi. Me and my partner came in on Saturday morning (11/9/19) at 10am for pedicures, seated right away. We got the $30 Bella pedicure and I can say that it was worth it. I added pictures as the previous yelp review/photos were outdated. We saw on Yelp that Bella was $28 but it was actually $30. The pedicure and massage lasted 30minutes (it felt WONDERFUL!) and the polish painting took about 15 minutes. Please note, they don't have a very large selection of polishes as other huge nail shops but they definitely have options to choose from. I've also been to plenty of nail shops that offer complimentary drinks or at least water but this one doesn't, not that that's a deal breaker; just to keep on your radar. Also, they don't have drying stations. Overall, satisfied with our pedicure and the service, and wouldn't mind coming back. read more

So, I tried this salon because of the reviews. My experience wasn't as good as others. Now the getting was pleasant and it didn't take long for someone to attend to my nails. My issues were that the young lady didn't care to listen to what I wanted. I also did NOT like the polish job done. Finally, I noticed that my nails looked like I had them done a few days ago. I immediately went the next morning after church. They refused to fix the polish job. I was told to wait until next time. Went in on a Thursday and it was quiet. All staff were masked which made me happy for them as someone in health of the continued safety measures. Smelled very clean -- not like nail polish which is hard to do! But I also attribute it to the low flow of traffic. Very kind staff -- not super conversational but very pleasant nonetheless if you don't mind people speaking a forge in language around you. My family speaks a foreign language around others so to me pretty normal experience but something someone with anxiety may like to read about before going in. Prices are very reasonable. I love this shop I really do. But today was an exception. I came in around noon and was the only one getting my nails done. Helen I think was her name. Was the first time doing my nails. she was rushed, my nails are very poorly shaped, I wanted square short but some are rounded and uneven. she was rushing the whole time just wanting to get me out of the chair. Only time I have had a bad experience but all the other times I have gone have been very good. This was my first time trying this salon. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon. They called me back shortly thereafter to see if I could come an hour after the scheduled appointment instead. I told them I couldn't go that late and thanked them. They quickly said oh no, go ahead and come in at the normal time. I asked if they were sure, and they confirmed. I should have known better. I arrived at my scheduled time and waited 30 minutes without being seen. I ended up leaving, but who knows what time someone would have ended up helping me. I wish that nail salons would be transparent with their customers and not over promise just to make some money because this leads to lost service. Hoping they learn from this, but I'm sure I'm not the first nor the last. read more

Paid $50 for a mediocre set. I still have hangnails because they didn't do the cuticle prep properly. And on top of that the person doing my nails cut my skin with the drill! Let me just start out by saying this was the absolute best pedicure I have EVER received in my life!!! My friend and I originally wanted to get our toes done at Nail Garden but we did not have an appointment and they were booked for the majority of the afternoon and since we were on a pressed schedule we opted to check out Nail Forum which my friend spotted a few shops down in the shopping center next to the one we were at. I was hesitant at first because my heart was set on Nail Garden after I had read the reviews and saw pictures of the shop it was just so cute! Upon arrival at Nail Forum we were greeted by a man who I am going to assume to be the owner, he asked us what we needed and had us pick a color and quickly had us seated. I soaked in the water for a few minutes before my technician came over. I received the Bella Pedicure because my heels needed some serious attention. When it came time to address my calluses she went to work, I have never had anyone put so much effort into getting my feet feeling so soft. She did a fantastic job shaping and polishing my nails as well. There is not a single bad thing I can say about this place! My friend and I both left very satisfied!!! read more

Let me start by saying the staff is very friendly. So I get my nails done 2 days before vacation and not even 2 days in a nail pops off. 2 days later another nail pops right off. Nails should last 2-3 weeks (at least for me they do.) I haven't had my nails done for more than a week and my nails are lifting too. My sister also got hers done by HELEN AND HER NAILS HAVE LIFTED AND A NAIL POPPED RIGHT OFF. I will not be going back to HELEN. read more

Second time here and Mrs. Helen does not disappoint. She has done my pedicure both time and does an amazing job. She has taken her time each time and makes sure I am completely satisfy. Any little issues I have like cutting my nails shorter or a nail being a little uneven she always fixes it. Very sweet lady!
