But I'll always remember one time when Coco and Tweety took me in at the last minute after I had just gotten back into town and gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. As a man who gets his hands and feet done with some regularity, I really couldn't ask for much more. She almost made me to want to walk out of the salon or never come back to this place. - I told her that I wanted to do an almond shape, French-tip manicure just like my co-worker had. After I showed her a photo on my phone, she began to say "Tay có chị không được thon dài, nên em chỉ có thể làm vậy thôi, chứ không được như vậy" "Em chỉ có thể làm hết sức" For your information, my real nails on that day were pretty long; she just needed to shape them exactly like the photos, which I don't think is a challenge at all for any licensed nail technician like herself. She made me feel ... bad about the looks of my hand. I don't think I need to have long, beautiful, perfect hands in order to deserve her services. Correct? - Then I started to tell her about my experience with a UV light I purchased from Target to use at home. I want to pay you for the services, just like how you paid the toll road company to drive pleasantly on their toll road systems. Does that make any sense? We pay to receive services; there is nothing wrong with that. Why am I getting such an unwelcoming attitude from a technician who doesn't want to do her job for me? She got it - I will not return to this nail salon, because I don't think I deserve such negative attitudes when all I needed was a nice beauty treatment for myself. I hope she understands this: Providing services to a Vietnamese person, someone who looks like you and who came from the same hometown as you did, does not make you inferior to anyone else. You provide the service I need, and I will pay you. We all need to make money and spend money to get what we need. I need my boss to pay me so that I can pay her for the services I cannot do myself. If she doesn't feel inferior providing services to a white female lady, why would she feel "uncomfortable" providing service to me? Are we the same kind, the same ethnicity, supposed to feel any "less" than any other ethnicity existing in this country? If you don't support your own kind, who would support you? If you cannot respect your own kind, who would respect you? Regarding the services she provided, it has been 7 days since Sept 13, and my nails have not chipped at all, no matter how many times I have washed my hands. And this is exactly why we need to come to a professional nail salon for treatment. We want durable nail services. Thank you for the remarkable service and skills she provided. I decided to bring my husband to this nail shop because I had been here before for a pedicure and had a good experience. I thought it would be the perfect place for him to feel comfortable getting his pedicure while also receiving great service. When we walked in, we were greeted by a woman with the biggest smile. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I honestly thought she was going to be my nail technician, but she ended up taking care of my husband which actually worked out because I wanted him to have the best experience possible. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the moment my technician started working on me, she was rough. Every movement felt harsh pulling, tugging, and handling my feet with absolutely no gentleness. It wasn't just her technique; her attitude was just as cold. I believe everyone has bad days, but customers shouldn't have to be on the receiving end of them. Then came the polish. She asked me what color I wanted, and I gave her the exact number because I had already picked it out. She couldn't find it, and that's when her frustration became obvious. She started speaking in another language, tossing bottles around on the table, and visibly showing how irritated she was. I looked over at my husband and quietly said, "I don't think she's having a good day because she's been rough with me ever since she started." He began paying closer attention and noticed it too. When she came back, I even asked her, "Are you okay?" She quickly replied, "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." She applied the first coat, then came back with a completely different polish than the one I requested. I stopped her and politely said, "Excuse me, that's not the color I asked for. Can you please get the one I requested?" Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she stormed off visibly upset. At that point, I had enough. I refused to let someone with that kind of attitude finish my service. I told them I would pay for what had already been done, but I would not be returning. I came in respectful, spent my hard-earned money, and did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Thankfully, my husband had already finished his pedicure and had a much better experience than I did. Somewhere in the middle of all this, we even had margaritas (ha!) which honestly may have given me the courage to stand up for myself because, if you know me, I'm usually the person who stays quiet just to avoid conflict. Not this time. I'm about to be 45, and I've reached a place in life where I refuse to pay people to mistreat me. If you're having a bad day, I truly hope it gets better--but don't (ever) take it out on your customers. Customer service matters just as much as the service you're providing. Sadly, because of this experience, I won't be returning. Respect goes both ways, and my money will be spent where kindness and professionalism are just as important as a good pedicure. I'm out.

The service was terrible and the man that did my nails kept offering me alcohol which I had no idea they could do this at a nail shop, second he uncomfortably rubbed the front of his baby against me while doing my nails and I still feel creeped out by this. My nails were sooo heavy from the nearly four coats and it took forever to remove the polish after I got home from the sloppy job, I believe he has some sort of perverse problems and I hope no one else has this experience.
