So I have attempted to come to this salon a few times, hoping that it will be better than the last time. Not only have I been overcharged and up charged, I had to dispute with nail techs about prices. And I cannot seem to get a technician that knows how to apply a full set properly. By recommendation and knowing that they specialize in nail art, my sisters and I made an appointment to get our nails done here before our trip to Miami! The salon is your typical salon. A bit crowded with pedicure chairs and nail stations, but we were one of their last customers, so can't confirm If they are following social distancing guidelines. All staff wore masks as well. Jessie is their best nail tech for nail art and design. Nikky and Vivian are also just as great and they did my sisters nails. It's really difficult to find a place that can do specific designs on tip or even on shellac...I'm talking about hand drawn and painted designs, but this place can! We also called ahead and made an appointment but I really appreciated the fact that they communicated with us beyond that initial call and we sent them photos of what we wanted done prior to the appt so that they knew exactly what we wanted. I tried this salon for the first time today- ask for Ann for a great pedicure and Thi for dip. Both did an outstanding job. Ann helped me with my stubborn left toe and the cuticle that need a thorough job. Thi did an exquisite job on my dip with a beautiful lavendar polish. the salon is VERY nice, clean and smells like a bougie spa. I highly recommend this salon. I usually have nothing negative to say when it comes nails but today I do. I feel I was not heard and especially not listened to when it came to the set, shape and style I wanted for my hands. There were three fingers I repeat asked my nail tech to fix and they weren't fixed. I am a bridesmaid for a wedding on Sunday and now I have crooked terrible nails. I got this set done about 2 weeks ago 3 days in my nails were chipping. The paint was peeling and my nails looked really cheap and ugly. I called the place and let them know what was going on they offered to fix them I went the following Sunday. It's been 5 days and they're still pealing I paid 85 for these nails and if I'm being completely honest I should've been charged 50 max I don't mind paying 85-100 for my nails if it's GOOD QUALITY. This is terrible this used to be my second choice but now I'll stick to my place for the same price I would recommend Tony from Venetian nail spa in the vintage way nicer and your nails always come out good regardless of who does it. Don't even bother wasting your time or money here. ONE of my pinkie nail tips popped off literally the next day after getting them done so of course I call and they told me to come the next day to fix it free of charge. So I went and got it fixed and that same day I was heading out of town; while out of town I had 6 NAIL TIPS POP OFF! When I say pop off I really mean they just popped off with ease. Upon them popping off I took a look at the acrylic and noticed how dramatically thin the acrylic is which is probably why the nail tips are popping off cause they have no support to stay on besides the tiny amount of glue they always use on nail tips. I've been getting acrylic nails for years so I know that they shouldn't all be snapping off the way they are. I called them when I came back in town and explained the situation and they told me to come in Thursday. I go in Thursday and they told me someone was going to come and fix my nails so after waiting an entire hour and 20 minutes waiting for a nail tech to fix my nails I grew to become quite upset as anyone else would. I asked for my money back and to just remove the nails because now I wasn't even interested in waiting for them to give me a new set. I just wanted to get out of there already. The receptionist told me that they cannot offer me a refund and if I don't want to keep waiting then I can come back another day and have 30% OFF. 30% OFF??? So I will have to pay for another set by the same nail tech who gave me this set I'm upset about! I don't know about you but I'm not paying for that when this is an issue that was made by them. None of these nails snapping off at the tip was my fault. The nails were made poorly by their employee and now I have to pay for another refill at a sheer 30% off. Yeah right! After I said that I'm not going to pay for something when this is their fault she told me that I "already got my free refill" when I came in THE NEXT DAY after just ONE OF MY PINKIE NAILS snapped. This 2nd visit exceeded my expectations. The first visit left me torn. The environment is tranquil. The manager Travis is very welcoming. Unfortunately, the assigned technician left me with the most rushed, inferior and least impressive manicure. But I returned today and Travis the most committed manager offered to fix the terrible manicure. I was seated at Cassie's booth. She was EXTREMELY professional, attentive, careful and thorough. Polar opposite of first technician. It was by far the appealing service. I only have business in the area, but returning to Cassie is most certainly worth the extra trip. ---------------------------------------------------- Today I was prepared to write a glowing review...unfortunately this SHOCKING visit fell terribly short. On my previous 2 visits the second visit of gel polish began to peel, I didn't return, I took it as a learning experience. I returned and PAID for a second gel manicure. It lasted about a week. I returned to see if they could save the gel. I was informed no, I would have to start over. This time Cassie suggested powder. I accepted. Cassie did a very quick job. This was my first time doing powder on my nails. I tried to tip, Travis told me I couldn't because I didn't pay for the service. I look forward to my 3 week visit and would double tip. But by the second day the powder was cracked beneath the topcoat. By the 4th day the topcoat was flaking?? Four days later, On October 9, I had business in the area. I stopped by the salon to inquire why was this happening? Travis, the manager, wasn't there. Another woman at the front desk told me to return anytime to have the set "fixed". I don't live near this area but I was very pleased with their commitment to customer satisfaction, so I accepted her offer. I returned on October 10 to "fix" the powder set. This time I was assigned to Tina. Tina was rough, contorted my fingers to the extent I didn't realize my fingers could turn in certain directions?! BUT...she took her time, did a thorough job! Far, far superior than Cassie did on my last visit. I was prepared to give a 5 star review on the service! BUT...as I returned from washing my hands Tina was gone? I went to the front. Despite a free fix, I wanted to pay Tina for such a great job! BUT...the woman at the front desk quickly approached me and said this, "since you keep needing a fix ((2x)), you should go to another salon with better products." I was so aghast, it took all I had to walk out with my head intact?!?! So that I'm clear, I've spent well over $200, including generous tips, within 4 weeks, penned a glowing review, and ONLY returned because the product wasn't applied correctly... yet, I'm implored to go elsewhere???? They gleefully say "no problem, we'll fix it!" Until there is a problem, "go elsewhere!" I can't apologize for expecting to receive equal service for an equal fee. Had I known I'm expected to spend $75, but receive -$20 worth of product/service I would not have subjected myself, nor my dollars to such inferiority. Good day. read more

I would give no stars if I could. The Male Nail Technician they had on staff was going too fast while gluing my acrylics and got nail glue in my eye. I had to rush myself to urgent care and get it removed. As you can imagine it was a very painful process and I now have dry eye that will not go away and they claimed no responsibility. The atmosphere here is very soothing. Came at 11:30am on a Tuesday. Tina did my ombre nails and Stephanie did my pedicure. They were both great and made great recommendations. They have a HUGE selection of colors (regular and gel). I am in a wedding this week and needed to get ombre nails. I usually don't get false nails so I was just praying they would look good. Yall... I think I have found my forever salon. Y nails are EVERYTHING! I have never felt so fancy. I can see why people get false nails. Tina and Stephanie were both very detailed but they weren't slow. Hot my brows dont too. They did great. Everyone in there was so pleasant. They offered a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. The facility was very clean and they played soothing music. I've had probably every nail tech and they all have done a great job. They offer discounts for Yelp check-ins or subscribing to the text alerts. Most recently, I went Saturday and got the peppermint pedicure which includes the basics, paraffin wax, fresh fruit scrub + a 15min massage. I also got shellac manicure with orange polish and an orange glitter to top it. I splurged a little but enjoyed every moment. They've upgraded the place as there is now a bar near the entrance with select varieties of red wine, champagne, wine, etc. I opted for a mimosa and it was really yummy! This place used to be good, honestly. But lately the management is having people put up yelp reviews in exchange for discounts. I'm sure some people really enjoy their experience here but I find it shady when a place compensates for reviews. My last nail service at this salon was less than acceptable. It is by far the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. I got the deluxe pedicure ($35) and the technician didn't do a proper callous removal or put enough moisturizer on my feet during the massage to where it was comfortable. The friction from a 10 minus rub with such little lotion was super uncomfortable, completely the opposite from what one expects during a pedicure. Furthermore, the polish job was worse than what I could do to myself using my non dominant hand. I'm leaving with feet that look worse than when I came in. There's been a change of ownership & a friend of mine suggested I return. She gave me the number of the person she uses & I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived I was informed that she was running about 1&1/2 hours behind. I decided to go with another lady since I didn't want to sit around all afternoon. If you're wondering about Kat, she's still there, & I couldn't hear her for the majority of the time. She's still running her mouth non-stop, but I've been sitting far away so I don't hear most of the chatter. Apparently, she's really good & people absolutely love her nail art. Fast forward 2 weeks and I book an appointment with Kim. When I arrived I was informed that she was over-booked & I was assigned another lady. She was awful! She didn't understand my desire to not have my ingrown toenail messed with & I finally had to raise my voice to get her to stop. The massage was pitiful & I was just happy to leave. Another 2 weeks go by and I scheduled another appointment with Kim. I told the receptionist that I'd appreciate a phone call if she running late. She did call & pushed me back an hour & I was ok with that. I arrived at the new time & guess what????? Kim was over-booked and running late. I had no problem with sitting in the massage chair and enjoy myself while waiting. Kim finally got around to me & I couldn't be happier. I usually get my nails done at another place. But, the guy I go to is out of town. So, I decided to try Red Carpet on a recommendation of a friend. I walked in (no appointment) and asked if anyone was available for a shellac manicure. I was given several shellac colors to choose from and after about 3 minutes a man came to get me to begin my manicure. First, he reeked of cigarette smoke. So, that was off-putting. I told him it was my first time there and I was excited to try this establishment, but he didn't seem to care. Then, after he applied the foil to remove the shellac I decided to flip through the colors to select one. I felt bad because 3 of the foils came off while I was flipping and he got upset with me. I didn't mean for them to come off, but as I was sitting there I figured I might as well occupy myself and choose a color. The guy (wish I would have gotten his name!) was unfriendly, cut me twice (with no apology or precautionary measures) and did a terrible paint job. Also, another manicurist was busy with another customer and they were using profanity back and forth with one another. I know people in this business have their regulars, but I'm there to relax, their exchange with one another felt like I was at a bar. Overall, not a good experience here. Here's my story at this place... I came in to do my nails for my wedding and asked for a white/ivory color, SIMPLE nails, no designs, plain off white...the guy that was doing my nails started applying a light pink on my nails so I told him I needed something more white, not pink... He replied "Why are you so picky?" Like What???? I was shocked he would even say that to me... he had only applied product to one nail and was upset he had to remove it and go get the color I initially requested! I used to come here a lot. The service used to be great with friendly people and great quality for a decent price. Management must've changed since I last came here. With that said, I will not be coming back here. Here's why: 1) Nobody bothered to greet me when I entered the salon and I had to just ask someone sitting down if I could get a manicure. 2) The quality of the shellac manicure was nothing compared to what I used to get from this establishment. I can see my nails through the color.... Really?? 3) The gentleman who did my nails was playing online poker on his phone while he was doing my nails. Very unprofessional. He would literally stop filing or trimming my nails to make a play on his phone and then proceed with his job. I found it to be very rude as well as very poor customer service. I was curious as to how long this annoying habit would last, so I tried my best to hold my tongue. This poker playing nonsense lasted for my entire appointment. You can do whatever you want on your own time, but do you work while you're at work.
