Lily, the technician who did my manicure, was so gentle that I nearly fell asleep. And she did everything that a good nail technician should do. She made sure that all of my nails were the same length and shape. She even helped me decide what color to choose. I wanted a fall color. She showed me a deep red like autumn leaves. I have been here a few times before. I just had not given my review yet. Attn: Ladies and Gents, if you choose this place please go there with caution as to sanitation purposes. I give them 3 stars for my first visit, however, this past Saturday's visit, I give them 1 star. My reason will follow once I tell you about my past few experiences. When I go to get my nails done, I usually get just the shellac manicure and I always bring my own tools that I sterilize myself, as I have a medical issue and I take extra precaution to ensure I don't get sick. The lady was nice and did a very good job. In fact those lasted me 3 weeks and looked fabulous other than grown out. Well, on Saturday I decided to bring my Mom, baby Niece, and Step-daughter in to all get mani's. When we walked in, we waited about ten minutes before they could start on us one-by-one. They were really busy and usually are when I go. As far as décor and store cleanliness to the naked eye, it's about average. I was taken first to be started on and I pulled out my kit and she went to town on my nails. When she came to my cuticles, she started and then stopped about halfway in and got up and went to the back of the shop. When she came back she had her purse and was digging through it and pulled out a used/dirty (unwrapped or unsterilized) cuticle cutter and said "I use mine, as yours not working!" and I said "I am sorry, but absolutely NOT! You can continue to use mine, thank you!" My Mother had been standing right next to me the entire time. Her eyes got real big and she said she was actually scared to get hers done there. I have never in my life seen a nail technician pull out a used cuticle cutter from the bottom of her purse and try to use it on someone! GROSS. So she got upset and started talking to the other ladies in a language I could not understand and then rushed through my nails and did a terrible job. I will not be returning nor will I recommend this place to anyone again. I was so embarrassed because I was taking people I love there and to have such a bad experience, did not make it fun at all. read more

I told the lady I wanted a thin application and rounded nails, squared on the end. I had to keep reminding her--she would shake her head yes and keep doing whatever she wanted. I offended her when I made her take off the green dot she placed in the center of a snowflake she drew on. ‍ I was ready to move on because it was clear they didn't want to listen. $97 later, I will never be going back. Needed to get mani/pedi, was in this area & didn't want to drive into Tomball. I was impressed how quick they started but I was the only one there. Loved my pedi, mani was good just 1 nail had a little piece of the white polish (French ) that was a lump for lack of a better description. The price was the same as my usual salon so that's fine, the massage chair was great & they offered me a drink (water or coke). The owners left while polishing my shellac mani to go start another mani. My polished began to gather in the middle from air drying with out top coat. Then she didn't clean the cuticles of my nails after polishing so the shellac dried all around my fingers like a 4 year old painted my nails. When I asked her to fix this she started cutting "cuticle" needless to say I have a cut on my thumb and my nails still look horrible. Well, this place was great when it had different owners a few years ago. I asked for a neck massage today, and the lady was gently massaging I'm sorry but my toddler could have massaged me better. The display window says there is a 10% student discount and a $10 off on mon-wed, but this is only for acrylic fake nails and nothing else. DO NOT GO HERE! I went here on a whim to get my shellac from another place removed. It was extremely dirty and unsanitary. The lady was very rough with my nails, and even cut my skin with the clippers and didn't apologize. She filed them way too short and they are jagged and uneven. I asked the lady if it was black and she said yes, (it looked a little purple in the powder). She insisted that it was black. I used to come here a lot and then I came once recently before school to get before school nails, and they did TERRIBLE! They made me SO mad, i came in around 6...they didn't start on me until about 6:25 and I was getting a full set. The lady who did my nails was newer and I didn't recognize her, she CONSTANTLY was on her phone the whole time while doing my nails!!! Going from Facebook to texting someone to her music... I asked for a manicure and I did NOT get a manicure, but I paid for it!
