There are plenty of private lash salons around the greater Houston that are way better than that money sucking franchise. It took me a few years, but I finally found the place for me! Yes, I was skeptical at first but who isn't? You really have to do your research when it comes to things like this and I'm so glad that I came across Flawless Lashes by Amy. Setting appointment (5/5) - My schedule is crazy busy, but flawless always finds a way to fit me into their schedule. Not only do they squeeze me in last minute, but they're super flexible and understandable about changes. I just simply text them and everything is taken care of! So simple! Environment (5/5) - The first thing I see when I walk in is the refrigerator stocked with drinks and the snacks they provide for you. HOW AWESOME IS THAT? Freeee snacks and drinks? HECK YES! Also, the aroma of the salon is just relaxing to me. It smells really good in there and nothing bothers me at all. The only thing that people might complain about it is how cold it is in there, but Amy provides a blanket for you if you're cold. Plus, I take my beauty naps a lot better when it's cold! I sleep like a baby during my service (LOL sorry Amy)! Employees (5/5) - Everyone is so nice and accommodating! Lash Extension Services (5/5) - I love love love love love love love my lashes. When I went to amazing lash studio, my lashes would fall off within a week or two. At flawless, my lashes are still in tact after three or four weeks! It's so awesome. It saves me time and money. For the price of my set I was amazed by the way my set turned out! The only downsides were that during the process, there were some painful parts almost like my eyes were getting sore and stinging. The other issues I had was that the glue was thick on some lashes and uncomfortable/ annoying to maintain. The only other issue I had was that there were certain lashes that would constantly stick to my bottom lashes no matter what I did. Again it was just annoying to deal with and try to maintain. My lash tech was very nice & professional. So I set an appointment to have them filled in. I had my lashes filled Wednesday. The 1 thing that concerned me was that they have you sign a paper saying that they're not responsible for anything that could possibly happen to you from their services. Now I know why! I woke up Thursday morning with a severe case of Pink Eye!! I had to go to the ER on Friday due to the severity of my condition. I called to inform Flawless lashes by Amy of the situation. She told me that I probably opened my eyes by mistake during my installation.. Not true at all, because I fell asleep during my session. DO NOT come to this salon EVER. pls I am trying to warn you and save you from pain, when my lashes where done and I couldn't not open my eye AT ALL they blamed me ? They said it is because I had sensitive eyes and they don't service "my kind" and they said to make a note in the system to not take me again. I've gotten my lashes done PLENTY of time before and never has the happened to me before. When I was telling my lash tech she did not care. I was very disappointed in their work. The technician was very sweet and it was very easy to get an appointment. A friend has gone there for a while and recommended it; however, we had different people put the lash extensions on. My eye was glued shut in places and she got most of the glue off, but not all. I immediately had to throw one contact away due to the glue. I later realized the there was still glue in one place and as I tried to get it off, removed a small section of lashes. Everyone here has been kind and great customer service. I've only ever gotten my lashes five one other time but I'm going to see my boyfriend out of state so i wanted to get my lashes done. I decided this on Sunday and immediately called around. I didn't expect to actually be able to get an appointment but they got me in the same day. Mandy was my lash tech and she was very kind. She told everything she was doing and offered a blanket if needed. She even answered my phone for me (forgot to let the boyfriend know i wouldn't be able to text or call for 2 hours-whoopsy). Fast forward to today (Tuesday). My eyes (mostly lash line area) have been SUPER itchy. I called to see if it was normal and they told me to come in (i wasn't available until 6 and they accommodated me). Mandy immediately took me to see what was going on. After confirming that there was no obvious problem (glue clump or something on the skin) then Mandy even refilled the lashes that i itched off and went through all the lashes to make sure they were perfect. Be careful!!! Yes your lashes will look pretty but you will pay for it later. They do not sanitize their utensils and blame the itching on you and gaslight you into thinking it's normal. I've always had lash extensions for years and yet I've never had discomfort like this place has given me. The answer is because they lash touching your skin so the glue gets on your skin. Because I'm used to the glue being near my eyes my irritation didn't cause swelling like it has to other people but the glue is literally on my eyelids. I went twice hoping that it was just the first lash tech that glued to my skin but even the second lash tech did it. She even tried denying that she messed up. They won't take accountability. They don't care about the malpractice they are doing. They only care about getting customers in and out fast . Please help report this to the state , they are endangering customer's eyes. So disappointed after coming in for my brows to be cleaned up. I thought I would be getting light maintenance ( remove a few hairs and trim), but no the lady decided to take off more than what was needed. Now I have janky brows. One is thinner and on the other one the tail is almost non existent. I typically don't do reviews but finding someone to successfully do my eyebrows has been a task since moving back to Houston 5 months ago. I requested Amy who did not have any openings so another lady did my brows. Reviews previously stated all other techs were not as good. My mother and my sister go to Amy so I was apprehensive to let someone do them. The tech fit me in on short notice to wax and tint my brows. My concerns were minute because I'm a very picky person. First time here. I really appreciated that they take walk-in's because it's hard to know in advance when I need a refill but hate to do it too soon and waste money. Place is clean and comfortable. Complimentary refreshments and candy. They give you 10% off your first service. It took about an hour and a half to get a full set partial volume. I think next time I'll just get the classic set because these lashes are a bit dramatic for me, but they are pretty. I took one star off because I don't know if it was the glue or what, but my eyes wouldn't stop watering for like 2 hours after I was done. Amy, Thank you for your reply back to my review. I feel as though your facts are off as well. I simply had a man call because of how you have treated some of your other clients in the past. You seem to try and tear them down, and I knew that I could not handle that. The "agressive man" as you may refer to him as, happened to be stern with you, as those lashes that you put on hurt. I woke up in the middle of the night, and they were poking into my eyes, which caused me a great amount of pain. Second of all, he did not say one word when he came in. He dropped me off, came in with me to make sure I was all set, and left for the rest of the appointment. The fact that your employees waited until he left to be nasty to me, tells me that I was right, and that if he wouldn't have called, you have degraded me and made me feel bad about calling. Third of all, its a little too late to bring up that you knew it was eyeliner, because your employee was the one telling me it was mascara. You could have simply apologized in person before I left the store, as you knew that you were in the wrong before I left. I ask the very same to you, when you reply to review.
