Please disregard my overgrown coloring (I colored my own hair)! I will be coming in on a later date to Greeta so she color my hair for this first time :-)! We talked about it during my amazing hair cut. I only cut my hair about once a year and so my goal has always been to try a different salon until I found a perfect spot! THIS SALON IS IT! Greeta's customer service is excellent! Her talent in the salon is even better!! I was so worried about my hair being cut way to short because of past experiences. I am always sure to ask for a trim and I've have places cut my hair to my shoulders because it was "dead," I am always feeling bad about my split ends so I barely fix my hair and always have it natural or in a bun. Greeta informed me so much about healthy hair habits so that I don't get so many spilt ends in the future (things like using a heat protector etc.) I was so grateful for her knowledge and helpfulness! On top of all this she not only doubled but TRIPLED checked with me on how much she was cutting. I felt so at ease knowing my hair was in good hands! She ended up cutting 4 inches off and my hair feels amazing!!! I love the results!! I went to have my hair cut by Geeta about a week ago. I called that day and she got me into see her right away! I used to have tape in extensions so my hair has a lot of breakage due to that. Geeta suggested a treatment for me to try called olaplex. It left my hair feeling soft and healthy afterwards! She was sure to tell me the cost of everything upfront and even was understanding when I didn't want to buy some products she suggested. She then cut my hair after rinsing the product off. She styled it for me which she hadn't told me the price of. When I got to the register she said that the blow dry was on her today! I recently had to find a new hair stylist as my stylist of over 30 years had to retire because of illness with very little notice. I have very short hair that I have had colored hair for over 20 years and was very concerned in finding someone new. There was no one in there and 2 people came in after me, one didn't have an appointment, the other did, but they were going to take the one without an appointment before me. We had been waiting. I came to the salon gallery to get my hair and make up done for a wedding and for my daughters hair for a wedding as well. I had to make an appointment about a week and a half in advanced and left a down payment. Geeta got my hair and makeup looking faboulous and she made my daughters hair look so cute ! By the end of the night make up was still looking great and so was my hair , I thought to myself money well spent it was so worth it ! I have my go to lady now for special occasion makeup and hair. I was looking for a place to have my hair done, found this place on Yelp. I liked the fact that I was able to get in on the same day, the place is older kinda dark little run down. They offer threading, so I asked to have my upper lip done, the owner processed to my eyebrow I had to haver to stop her, she told me that she hadn't that much and it wasn't noticeable but could do the other side if I wanted her to i could see the difference so I let her know I wanted her to fix it. I've been going to see the owner, Geeta, for over 5 years to get my eyebrows threaded. Even though I no longer live in the area, I make my way to her every two weeks for threading. I haven't been able to find someone who can thread my brows as well as she can. They are reasonably priced. In addition to threading, they offer hair color and cut services. Geeta cuts hair well but is rude. I've been to her twice, and the second experience was worse than the first. The first time, I was happy with how she cut my hair, but she was kind of rude. I went back months later and she was more rude. She told me I didn't wash my hair well and it was greasy, to which I responded that after washing it, I put some oil to condition it. She mentioned a few times how difficult it was to cut my "greasy" hair. When it was time to pay, she tried to charge me more than the first time (four months prior), and I asked why, she said she changed the prices. I asked did she really change the prices in these past few months, and she told me it's her salon and she can change the prices whenever she wants. That was unprofessional and unnecessary to say that way. She did give me the price I wanted, but I can do without the attitude and will not be going back. One of the reasons I went there was because there is a room in the back and I wear a headscarf, so I appreciate that private setting. However, I don't need to go anywhere where I'm made to feel like someone is doing me a favor, or is rude and condescending. Thank you but no thank you. Learn how to talk to people with respect.
