Went in and got exactly what I wanted but better. All the staff is very nice always checking up on you. I will definitely be going back.

I love my haircut! I scheduled for a women's wash, cut, and blowdry. Prices are genuinely amazing; my hair was down to my lower back and was cut just below my chest with layers, the total was $75! For a wash, cut, and blowdry, it was such a deal! This was my second time here, I loved my experience with my first time at this studio that I had to come back. The inside of the studio is gorgeous, modern but still warm and cozy. I think I arrived 15-10 minutes early, and was seen a few minutes after I sat down. My hairdresser was Ailan, and she is the sweetest. She was very gentle with the hair wash and precise with the haircut. I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she truly delivered! She did such a wonderful job, I'm really satisfied with her work. read more

I had the BEST experience at The Oasis Studio with stylist Ailan! From the moment I sat in her chair, she truly listened to what I wanted -- and not only did she do exactly what I asked for, it turned out even better than I imagined. Ailan has such a great personality and made the whole appointment relaxing, fun, and comfortable. On top of that, the pricing is unbelievably affordable -- truly the biggest bang for your buck without sacrificing quality. I'm so happy to say I've officially found my forever salon. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend booking with Ailan! read more

asked for a color and cut. I have lots of grey hair at age 40 so Stated that I wanted to brighten or add more grey to my hair. I suggested highlights. And showed them the color I was wanting. They said it would be. Better for them to bleach my entire head twice. Then dye it not tone it but dye it. My hair now a gold brown blondish color. I was told that after a few washed it will turn to the silver I asked for. And guess how much I spent? $200!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them at all!! First pic is the inspo I showed them of the color I wanted . Second and third pics are of what I received. read more

First time customer here & wow, I'm so pleased & blown away by my transformation. The space is so cute & the vibe is so comforting & welcoming. I have extremely long hair & was there for 4 hours for my color & cut. My stylist Annie is absolutely amazing & so talented! She working so much magic to bring me back to life. She was completely through about going over the price beforehand so there were no surprises after the fact (I appreciated that so much) she was also stellar at paying attention to detail & taking her time. 15/10 would recommend here! read more

I want to say that everyone was very nice, but I don't think I'm the client they're used to. I asked for bangs and light layering and I stressed several times I wanted to be able to do a ponytail. My bangs look like a bowl cut and I can do a ponytail - but only barely. She cut off the MAJORITY of my length - exactly what I had asked her NOT to do. I sat with the haircut for a week and I hate how I look; the bangs are too short and blunt and the layers are intense and keep me from wearing my hair up in a real ponytail. I included a picture with the appointment I made and showed the same picture at the appointment. This place has a lot of good reviews, so I guess I went on an off day, but make sure you really monitor what they're doing. read more

I get my hair blow dried once a week, and I'm al always looking for a new salon close to home that can blow dry my hair, smooth and shiny. I came in and saw Min (owner) I showed her a picture of how I like to get my hair done. She washed my hair thoroughly with good namebrand products in the back bar. She blow dried and then curled my hair to perfection ! Super happy and will definitely be back. Highly recommended read more

I had the best experience with my stylist! She truly went above and beyond for me. My hair took almost 8 hours, and she stayed with me past closing until 9pm just to make sure everything came out perfect. Not once did she make me feel rushed or like an inconvenience.. she was so positive, patient, and genuinely cared about how I felt the entire time. Her energy, her professionalism, and her talent made the whole experience amazing. I left absolutely loving my hair. Owner & staff spoke badly about my hair in Vietnamese not realizing that I also spoke the same language. I came in for a keratin treatment and a haircut. Once I checked-in, a lady came to introduce herself and began to take me to the chair for service. Then the owner asked for another different technician to do my service. Don't get me wrong the technician was very very sweet, but it was very apparent that she did not have the experience to do the service. The service is listed on their website to take 1.5hrs, yet I was there for 4hrs for just the keratin treatment. After hearing the owner and staff make comments about my hair and how the service was obviously not done correctly, I decided not to get the haircut. Another lady took over the service and began straightening my hair. She burned me twice, went on her phone knowing I was already there for hours, and she was coughing up a storm right behind me. During the entire 4 hours comments were made and I waited till the end of my service to enlighten the manager that I in fact did speak Vietnamese and I understood everything. I stated that I did not expect to pay full price, and I didn't. My review is based on in unprofessionalism of the manager and her staff. She should not have sent an inexperienced technician to do a $350 treatment, and she surely shouldn't have made comments in another language thinking that I did not understand. read more

If you have curly hair do not go here to get a trim. They left my hair so uneven. When I went back to get it fixed they said I had to get it cut with the same stylist that messed it up in the first place or I would have to pay again. Sitting in the chair of someone who messed it up in the first place doesn't make any sense. read more

Horrible! Worst haircut ever! The "stylist" was not very experienced and couldn't speak English; we had to communicate via Google Translate! I finally had to stop her from cutting anymore hair! Initially was rung up for $120, when asked if I loved the cut, my response was "no, I hate it!", she dropped the price to $85. I still tipped her, cause that the right thing to do, but I will NEVER go back! Thank goodness hair grows back! read more

I booked an appointment with Vivian and I walked in with very dead thinning hair. I told her I didn't want to take too much of it off and then my hair hasn't really had any body to it and that I had colored it previously. She told me she knew exactly would make it look good and I trusted her. I originally went in for a wet cut, but ended up getting a blowout and it was super worth it for those extra dollars. The overall environment was pretty good. It was very calm, except for one other customer who did make it a bit, eerie, and uncomfortable in there, but besides that there were some other people in there who overall just made the environment Feel more welcoming. read more

I went in on a Monday, and Vivian was my stylist. I got a long cut, shampoo and blowdry and couldn't have been happier with the results! The shampoo was divine. (IYKYK) While I did come in armed with Pinterest photos, Vivian gave off a "I know how to make anyone's hair look good" vibe so I kept the pics to myself and she did not disappoint. My waist length hair was in need of volume, and the long layers she added to my hair did the trick. I have gotten compliments on my hair from strangers, so no doubt I'll be going back. Vivian doesn't know it yet, but she's my go-to now. read more

I needed a last minute haircut so I made an appointment with The Oasis. They were busy and I had to wait, but had comfortable area and the staff was nice so I was patient. Though there was a slight language barrier with Jolie, she got right to it after I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. Her scalp massage and shampoo was super, she got the layers right and trimmed the ends. Jolie's hair language is crystal clear! I'm happy and it's not easy to get my hair right on the first try. Amazing! I just moved back to Houston and was looking for a new home salon. Immediately got sat, I got placed with Tyra and she was the sweetest ever! Listened to what I wanted and provided great advice when asked. She gave me the BEST hair wash and it was really needed because I had such a stressful week. She made me so glad I choose The Oasis. She cut my hair super quickly and the end result was gorgeous. Completely transformed my hair from dead and dry to silky and voluminous. Love her and will be coming back!! read more

The haircut that I asked for was very achievable with the hair that I had I asked for it specifically because I style my own hair so I can do that style. I just needed the length cut a little bit and I wanted a taper and fade. I provided a video of exactly what I wanted, when they asked if I didn't want it cut too short, I said yes, not too short. They then proceeded to start cutting my hair and cut it way too short, as well as not following the style that I had asked for when I even provided a video showcasing the style from different angles. If the style I had asked for was a problem for the person cutting my hair or for my hair type it should've been communicated to me before they cut my hair to the point where it is unfixable when I expressed my unhappiness with the haircut, that's when they decided to tell me that my hair type was a problem, and then said it would grow, but I didn't ask for a hairstyle that would grow I asked for the hairstyle that I showed. I would not have asked or stayed at the salon if what I had asked for was unachievable. And on top of that when they were speaking to each other I understood what they were saying and they just couldn't understand why I was upset about the haircut read more
