Rude and racist. Customer service suck as the worker on duty called me nasty for first bringing my trash in the she telling me rudely there's no trash then after I sat by door called me nasty. After my son picked up the chick fil a small bag cuz thats all it was she continue to harass me then denied services after I waited for 20 minutes. I've been a customer at this location for years, so I'm not writing this lightly. I for one never give any of the employees a hard time, I'm always quiet. Just want to get my service done and be out. I've always believed in giving people grace, but after my most recent experience, I feel it's important to share what really happened. As SOON as I sat down for my service, I was immediately confronted by Rana about a previous review I had posted. There was another employee present the whole time in the middle of us, which made the entire situation feel uncomfortable and overwhelming--like I was being cornered. Rana criticized how long and negative my review was, even gesturing with her hands to mimic a long paragraph, and kept repeating that she "doesn't force anyone to do anything." This was frustrating because in the past, she had insisted I leave a review in front of her before letting me pay--refreshing her phone repeatedly to check if it went through. I tried to explain that my issue was never with her service, I pointed out that I even said "she does a good job" TWICE in my last review. Instead of approaching me respectfully, she doubled down with sarcasm, saying things like " yes yes you're right and I'm wrong, in a tone that didn't feel sincere at all, when all I was trying to do is explain where I was coming from. It felt like she was more interested in defending herself than hearing me out. It wasn't a conversation--it felt like I was being talked at, not talked to. She kept saying a "good person" would've brought these things up in person, not go off and write a review, but that's just what reviews are they're opinions. If she had approached me calmly, or been asked if I was okay to talk in private, with something like, "Hey, do you mind if we talk about something that's been on my mind?" I honestly would've been open to that. I might have even taken the review down. But instead, I was ambushed the moment I sat down, in front of another employee, made to feel awkward and invalidated, and ended up being late to where I needed to be. At one point, the bystander had to step in and tell her to stop so she could move on with the service. That's how uncomfortable it got. I even told them to pull up the cameras, and pull up my review, because you'd clearly see her hovering around me at the checkout, refreshing her phone and not proceeding paying me out until the review appeared. Also, just to note--I talked about her cutting people before when the place is packed. That's because I've been cut before during threading when the place gets busy, and my boyfriend (who was also a regular) has noticed the rushed service too. So my feedback isn't just a one-time complaint. It's based on repeated experiences. I won't be returning after this. Respect goes both ways, and no amount of convenience is worth being made to feel that small. I hope you guys learn to validate consumers, and know that reviews are made out of personal experiences and are personal opinions based on that. **PLEASE BEWARE** I used to do my eyebrows here, and those times before I usually received good customer service. But over time the atmosphere and quality of their services brought me to the making of this review. When I first sat down, she made an insulting remark about my face and hair. I requested to have my whole face threaded, and I was told that parts of my face would have to be waxed due to the shortness. I agreed to that, however she rushed the process on me because her lobby was full of clients waiting. She was so busy rushing that I was burned with hot wax and when I advised her, she didn't do anything about it. She applied some sort of spray on my face without telling me what it was, which started to make my face even more red, I also had leftover wax on my lips. She didn't even do the job I paid her to do, I still had hair on my face and had to come home and use tweezers to finish her job. Now the next morning I wake up to see my face like this! And this is even after I did the proper skincare and treatment on it to relieve the breakout. So come at your own risk, especially with waxing. Do not be fooled from the reviews. Came here for the very first time today at around 2:30pm to get my eyebrows and forehead threaded and the lady with the pink polo shirt, who seemed to be the manager/owner came and assisted me. She was very rough on my face, and did not do a good job. You can tell by the way she was threading, that she just wanted to get it over quickly. She kept talking to her coworker during the process and when she finished, I looked myself in the mirror and noticed that there was still some baby hair on my forehead. I never had this issue threading in other places. When I mentioned it to her, she said she can't see it, but offered to clean it up more. After that, I looked myself in the mirror again and noticed that it was still not clean enough. I also noticed the thread she was using. It was much thicker than other places, which is probably why it didn't pick up my baby hairs. The whole experience was not very professional and friendly. Keep in mind I have been getting my eyebrows and forehead threaded for a few years now, in other places. After this experience, I will not be coming back. Save yourself and go somewhere else where they'll treat you with respect and care, and not talk behind your back in another language. This is not the place to go. read more

Seemed to be the owner but she was very rough on my eyebrows and on my face and seemed like she did it it in a rush when there was no one waiting before me. Was being rude about how my eyebrows looked before saying that my barber didn't do a good job and she kept mentioning it over and over again. When she grabbed the paper towel to wipe my face she wiped my face so roughly and hurt my nose piercing. If i could leave zero stars i would. I was at this place on 11/4/2022.. and the lady said she couldnt do tint because she didnt have time . Mind you i got there at 6:15. I said ok fine. We decided to give it one more chance ans this timw there was another lady there.. my mom needed full face wax and threaded. The lady insisted she didnt have time to do it because people were waiting. However how do yo offer a service and then tell people you can't because other clients are waiting? I always enjoy when they do my eyebrows because it's quick and easy, a bit of pain but that's just me haha. When I came for them to wax my legs(full) the area didn't look very clean and I wasn't comfortable at all. It was a plain white table and they just told you to take off your pants there was no cushion or anything which kind of made the experience a bit harder than it's supposed to be. The roll-on sticks they put the wax with didn't look that sanitary either because it seemed they had dried-up wax inside them and they just heat them up without cleaning them. I got my facial, wax and eyebrows done here today. Ms. Samira Rana was my beautician. She spent a lot of time making me feel comfortable and took efforts to pamper me throughout. Facial was relaxing, smelled wonderful and my skin felt great and clean afterwards. Waxing was as painless as it can be. Eyebrow threading was done expert handedly with no pain at all. I didn't have an appointment but I appreciate how Ms. Samira accommodated me in spite of her being extremely busy. I was also given discounts on each service. I frequented the Jones location because its close to work. I was thrilled to see them open a location so near my house! I went there on a Friday evening and was helped by an older lady. Seems like she was new at threading; I felt every hair pulled out. . Ever so slowly. All in all the shape was good (or so i thought). Gave her the benefit of the doubt, tipped well and went on my way. When I got home, I realized there were a ton of sparse hairs. I had to touch them up myself. Then today, I noticed my eyeshadow wasn't going on right.. only to find out my entire lid is cut. No wonder I felt everything. Too bad. Their Jones location is better. But go to Shapes in Willowbrook if you don't mind the drive. I enjoyed aaina's, but won't be coming back to this location. read more

First time here.. I went off on the businesses hours on yelp and it wasn't correct( opening at 10 am). Luckily for me I got there at 10:50 am and they open at 11 am so the wait wasn't bad. Raj was my brow stylist on today's visit. She arrived at the salon about 5 minutes after I got there. Raj was polite and friendly. My brows where nicely shaped but I actually had to clean them up when I got home with tweezers since she missed a few hairs on my right brow near the arch. I would have given a 4th star but I had a few tiny cuts on my both of my eyelids and it stung a little when I was cleaning them. The price was $8 for my eyebrows which isn't bad. I am not a very hairy person so it's not much work. They do have a customer rewards card I believe it's get 10 and the 11th threading is free. I will be back to try other stylist out in the future. read more

So...I usually have my "lower region maintenance" done at a popular chain hair removal spot in Houston, but I was in a bit of a rush to prep for a pending vacation and decided to look to Yelp for a place closer to home. That search brought up Aaina. My aesthetician, Maha, was great. Very patient, thorough and kind...which are all necessary when you're in a new place, putting a VERY sensitive area in a compromising position and new hands! Though her technique was a bit different than I'm used to, it was effective. I even had her to address my upper lip and chin. Though it's clear that they specialize in threading (a technique I DON'T LIKE). I agreed to allow her to do some "cleaning" with thread and she was so gentle that I agreed to come back at a later date to allow her to address my brows (which I'd just had done and am VERY picky about). While the interior is not as posh, glam and "spa-like" as I'm accustomed to with my regular place, my experience overall was great! And the price was awesome. I'll be going back. read more
