Board shows prices for eyebrow threading and waxing. However, they do not recommend waxing. I didn't figure this out until after she had already trimmed my brows and started threading. Threading is way more painful for me. She did not ask how I wanted the brows shaped and they are much thinner than I like. Also, noticed the next morning that my skin had been nicked and still hurt, along with one brow having extra hair at the end that I cleaned up myself with tweezers. Not a terrible experience but also not great. I guess it would have been better if I was more assertive but I was really hoping for better with all the very positive reviews. read more

After several bad experiences I had almost sworn off having my brows done for good. But let's face it the face looks much better when our eyebrows are shaped with fine expertise. Laila did an awesome job on my eyebrows. I had been running errands all day and my little one needed to nurse. She noticed and offered for me to use a back room (without me needing to ask). She is professional and fast. The wait wasn't bad at all. Although a TON of people showed up right after my arrival (talk about perfect timing) I did not feel rushed. Did an excellent job on my eyebrows and upper lip. She is great at what she does and had several regulars waiting at the time I went. It is inside of Fiesta grocery store if you have a hard time finding it like I did. Only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is because she was 10 minutes late. Can I just say that you Yelpers never let me down! It's true Laila is da bomb. I read these reviews thinking they were for waxing. But I got there and was mortified when I saw her threading. I fully admit that threading gives the brows a more defined shape. However the pain is just not worth it to me. Laila agreed to wax my brows but asked if she could just thread the top for shape. She assured me if it hurt she would stop and switch to wax. I'm thinking "here we go" but I reluctantly agree do. OMG she has such a light hand I couldn't believe it. On a scale of 1-10 it was probably a 2. A bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. Nothing like I've experience before. I am a believer! The 30 minute trip was well worth it! read more

I've been here several times and had my eyebrows done by two different ladies. I have been very satisfied with their technique and the fact that they listen to my needs. I like to keep my eyebrow thickness, and high arch and it has never been an issue. I ask for lip and eyebrow threading and pay less than $13. This place is located inside the Fiesta food mart to the far right when you come through the doors. They are open till 8PM! read more
