Worst experience at a nail salon ever. We typically go to Kristy's Nails they knew us and were able to accommodate my grandmother with a smile but decided to try this place out since it was in Kristy's old location and convenient. I was trying treat my grandma to a pedicure. She has neuropathy & has swelling in her legs. The water for both her & I was scalding hot. Took 3 attempts to get the temperature right. The tech that worked on mine & my grandmother's feet were both rude & not friendly. Only one other customer was there and she was finishing up a manicure. Alena was the only tech free when we first walked in and she avoided us by sitting down and filing her own nails until the owner told her something. I tried to ask the tech to be gentler because my grandma was visibly in pain but it seemed like she didn't even attempt to be gentler. Will definitely not be back. read more

First time going to this location, needed help picking a dip color and they recommended a dip and it came out the wrong color and when I spoke up the workers were rude saying to let them pick the color next time so it'll come out correct when they were the ones that picked it. After that, what I assume is the owner continued to talk bad about me in Vietnamese assuming I didn't understand basically just saying to be careful with me because I'm such a difficult person. They went above and beyond for me and I don't think the line work on my nails has ever looked so good Management was incredibly kind and accommodating from the moment I walked in. Despite my last-minute appointment, they all welcomed me warmly and immediately made me feel at ease. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly stood out - I just moved to the area and have been looking for a new nail salon. Needless to say, I won't be looking elsewhere. Both technicians were precise and efficient, I was in and out in less than an hour but they consistently checked to make sure I was happy with their work. I have been to a lot of different nail salons trying to find the perfect fit for me. I saw Kristi's all the time growing up in the area and decided to give it a try. The salon is very clean, which I have come to learn is hard to find these days. All of the tools are sterilized and come from new packaging for each customer. This is something that's very important to me. I was seen to immediately when I walked in and didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes, without an appointment. I do recommend making an appointment because they can get very busy, especially on weekends. Lisa did my manicure and she is very good. She worked quickly, but didn't sacrifice service. My nails looked great and she did exactly as I asked. Amy did my pedicure and she too was fantastic. I've been coming back for quite some time now and will keep coming! read more

I just love this place! Lisa does gorgeous nails... they are just perfect. But what I love the most is that it's like hanging out with your girlfriends. I called because I was going to get there late and she just said that's ok, come on in! She got me a glass of wine and took her time even though it was passed closing. Worse nail place I've ever been to. The service was great and they were quick to respond to a walk in, but you should ever take off acrylic nails with the plastic base for acrylic nails! In the process I was trying to just tough it out but after having a bit of my nail ripped off as he pushed the plastic under my acrylic I was done. I started going to Kristi's a little over a year ago since it's very close to home. I'm usually pleased with my nails and service and it's overall quiet as well, which I appreciate. There's only been a few "hiccups" with selected technicians, however, my most recent visit left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will be going elsewhere. I got a new set on the 1/21....less than a week later, my nail cracked after simply replacing a trash can bag that was a little snug to get on.....several days later on Saturday ANOTHER nail snapped and lifted after picking up a backpack. Both times I went back for a repair and they did so at no charge, which I appreciated, however, after the 2nd time, I was told "next time" I'll be charged, and to "be careful".....this after I felt I was being talked about in their native language. #1 maybe this particular powder was not good because regular day-to-day activities should not cause nails to crack and lift #2 if you have an issue, please address it to the customer and not speak about them behind their backs. This left me feeling very angry and uncomfortable and I most definitely will not be returning. There are WAY too many options in the city to put up with such behavior. I've had many friends complain about their nails lately, so perhaps industrywide, the product quality has reduced.....but take ownership for this and do not place blame on the customer or debate with them. read more

This place USED to be a great place to get everything done manicure, pedicure, back massage. But some days I have gone in with an appointment I was still made to wait up to an hour because they were short staffed. Then the girls had to hurry because of appointments and walk-ins. The pedicure was horrible for my mother and myself. Sloppy work and forgotten to do things that were included in the pedicure. Now my granddaughter had her nails two of them came off two days after her manicure was finished and her skin started peeling. In all the years going there this is the first time it happened. The mgr. would not refund her money that she saved doing things around the apartment to help out with her autistic brother and a mom who is fighting cancer, but Kristi's Nails offered to redo the manicure but my granddaughter is reluctant to go. All the family members who go there will not be returning after years of work on nails, massage, etc. The prices went up too without letting the customer know. Which is the norm right now. We understand this. But the four of us will not return. Its sad when a company lets the dollar be more important than the customer. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else but the mgr. did tell me it happened to another girl. Well we will be going to a new nail place across the street close to Back Yard Grill such nicer people and your treated like your the greatest customer they ever had. read more

Every type of service is offered from a basic manicure through the newest in nails. They were doing Shellac Nails within weeks of this new type of training. All her technicians are well trained and professional. Kristi will not allow a technician to perform a service until they have been professionally trained and pass her specific training sessions. I have been going to Kristi's Nails for over 20 years, since right after she opened. I've had nails repaired or done when I've been out of town.
